  1. Just read the introduction to system's thinking by Daniella Meadows, you'll know what to do with it
  2. Sure. I don't mean to go on crusades or anything like that, by the way. It's just I found people that surround me naturally become more yellow over time The thing is, change = leadership. If you're not changing anything or anyone - you're not really a leader. Or not a great one, at least. And this is what stage Green people typically miss a lot. They want to have a passive role at everything and not do anything. Yet they expect positive stuff to be showering them despite this inaction. This becomes a problem. People get depressed and all kinds of bad things happen due to that. Being a leader & not being afraid of change and being the core vehicle of it is actually a much more powerful way to live. Way more pleasure can be derived from such a lifestyle, and more true equanimity. And at Yellow, you're at a position to really leave a good impact and to do so consciously. So having more people at yellow and more people as leaders will really be a win win win for everyone. What I found also, though, is that just taking proper action and facing the reality of situations and systems is what moves people from Green to Yellow. You stop being so idealistic and start to see practicality of things more and more. Which makes you study how everything truly works because without that it is very hard to create good results. So in a sense just stopping smoking marijuana and actually starting to self-actualize can go a really huge way here
  3. Nice resistance and gaslighting. Truth is, I can change people and I will be changing and influencing people and you won't gaslight me into thinking that I can't. Especially as I am already having a success in it. Go gaslight someone else.
  4. Nah, we should deconstruct silly green ideologies. Green people are very weak epistemologically and get into all sorts of ideological traps because of it. We need to spot more of these and facilitate moving people to yellow
  5. What makes you think he is stage blue?
  6. Yes, baby, I'm an incel
  7. @Megan Alecia his book "Principles" Is amazing. Hands down the best business book I've ever read. This guy really deserves his billions of $$ with how he navigates through stuff epistemologically. And his leadership/management stuff is very inspiring as well, I found may things I'll probably try to implement iemploye in my own businesses once I start getting some employees
  8. @Megan Alecia talking about business strategy doesn't automatically peg him into orange, it's just his occupation, what else he'd talk about? The point is how he talks about it. And his views on business, economics, politics, society, leadership I found yellow as fuck. Especially leadership and how he manages his company. He talks about management so much because his company makes management educational courses and what they teach is very yellow and cutting edge stuff as management goes Yes, he doesn't use plain data as his #1 tool which is actually what distinguishes him further from orange. The guy is way more intuitive. His emphasis on values and life purpose (he calls it mission) in employees is also very yellow approach. His whole management approach is super yellow. It looks like a very flattened democracy. He also emphasizes radical honesty, transparency and epistemology both in his teachings and in his company. And he is actually acting as an example. This guy is one of the most developed guys in the business world, he is clearly not orange. And running a business corporation doesn't automatically equate a person with being an orange, that's just wrong. What is more true is that business at each stage has certain distinct qualities, in other words, is done in different ways. And this guy clearly shows how a stage yellow person would run the corporation Also, rationality exists at different stages. Peter Ralston, for example, is a huge master in rationality we could say, but we probably wouldn't put this guy at orange. Or even yellow, for that matter. Because the way he uses it is very different
  9. What orange did you find here? He is as yellow as it gets in business and he is super fluid intellectually
  10. Why do you think ambition is directly tied to wanting to look good?
  11. @Preety_India @Preety_India It only appears on a surface that these are different things, but if you look closer, you will find deep interconnections and how it all actually is directly related with parties People go to sport clubs so they can look better at parties When you go the park, you are usually just on your way to some party Airport is how you go to a party in a different city What is a university, really, if not a 4 years of non-stop drinking and partying, lol Meditation retreat is when you get rid of hungover very effectively to go to the next party faster Friend's dinner is basically partying as well I don't know, Preety, seems like you're missing something here
  12. Make a list of all benefits of meditation. Why you really should do it? What are the real benefits? What are the opportunity costs of not meditating? What you will lose if you don't? I personally think there is nothing wrong in thinking about "benefits", it's just you gotta think into this direction deeper
  13. There are plugins that kill toxic shit (recommendations, feed section, etc) so that you can only login, post your stuff and maybe read the comments of your followers or something like that. It's hard for me to use fb/LinkedIn/YouTube without these these days
  14. Who really cares, man, we all have weird moments sometimes. You can own it up, do everything in a different manner, and then have this moment as a fun little story both of you can remember and laugh about. Humour and laughter destroy awkwardness, man, it is such a powerful tool to have for moments like this. It's just a matter of perceiving things lightly and still going with the flow that you own. So, some solution to this could be to still smile deeply, battering her up and generating this warm feeling between you and still confidently, pleasurefully going for that kiss. Because you like this person, right? And she likes you, it seems like. It's then the matter of logistical nature to shum this statue stuff off with humor and laugher and still go for the kiss and maybe something more close later. You should be alright, man, just add some playfulness to the equation and everything will go smoothly
  15. I was looking at the charts the other day and Bernie Sanders was actually polling very well! I know he is from the democratic party, but would be nice to see him or a person like him in the next US elections. And in elections after these elections. I think we'd progressively have more and more chances for someone like Sanders to be elected in US. I might even pursue migration to America if that happened
  16. Lmao, I've interacted with some conspiracy guys lately, this is so true . They just call pedophiles everyone who has a different opinion or who is wealthy/successful
  17. With this kind of money, you can start making small bets in your biz. For example, quitting the job and pursue that for 6 month, with a focus a rigor. If the bet didn't work out - you comeback to the job and work again for a while to replenish your resources and then one more bet for 3-6 months. Fail? - some more work. Then - some more bet for 3-6 months. It doesn't have to be a lot of failures, by the way. Realistically, you can start making money in your first month after doing that. That happened to me. At one point I decided to quit my job (and job seeking) and give myself time to 100% focus on my business for 1-2 month and see how it goes. Because I was fed up with corporate sh it too. And I made it work. Been 1.5-2 years full time now
  18. ^ How a typical stage green person demonizes capitalism
  19. What exactly do you mean by being a materialist/reductionist and what contradictions do you see? Reductionism is actually a very robust technique for contemplation and scientific breakthroughs. Of course it has its limits and mainstream science clear overuses it, but an amazing technique still. It will skyrocket your contemplation inquiry if you learn it and add it to your arsenal. What is ironic is that scientific inquiry actually started in Asia. Buddha notoriously used it. All zen stuff is basically a scientific inquiry, it's just focused on the mind and life in various abstract phenomena more than it is on some concrete material objects
  20. Holycrap, nice stuff
  21. @Preety_India Sh*it, need to buy so many filters and other stuff
  22. @Preety_India Does "toxic" water evaporate after cleaning the dishes with it? Sorry, I am quite ignorant about cleaning stuff, I am wondering if it is safe to clean your dishes with unfiltered water
  23. Excuses, excuses, excuses, more excuses. You don't know what Leo does, maybe he picked up 100s chicks during his vacation month and just used this social thing as a fun supplement, Why are you trying to chimp Leo anyways? He probably doesn't want sex/girlfriend as much as you do at this point of time, yet he is still emphasizing the importance of going out in his every post about pickup vs doing online game You can become top 0,5% too, but you don't really have to. You can do the same with masks, and there are a lot of people with masks too in the video. But ok, let's say you got me, then there are at least 2 conscious solutions to this: 1) you can move to the country/city that has better covid conditions and do pickup there 2) you can get a vaccine and pickup people freely with telling them you are vaccinated right away That would completely eliminate your problems, but you won't do it, because you are not really serious about it
  24. Most likely you don't remember because the information you read is useless to you. Try to find a practical use for it and why do you read anyways? What is the purpose of your reading? Just reading for the sake of reading is a very passive behaviour that won't really get you far. What books/knowledge do you actually need to achieve your goals/solve your problems? Focus your attention on those. I'd be willing to bet money if you read with a purpose in mind you'll remember what you need to remember with ease (and throw away everything that you don't)
