Well, I know that the method has some techniques, but as I said, I was looking for some feedback if it really works or not: how much time it takes to start having effect, the experience itself, the improvements or not by anyone who has already tried it.

Has anyone tried to do it? And, if so, does it really work? I'm hoping there is someone here in the forum who is familiar with this

Very nice, thanks! And I think drinking cold water makes you also more awake. Killing two birds with one stone!

@Nick Thank you very much! But for example, you said that you wake up at 6am and fast till 3pm. You don't drink anything at all neither? Many people believe that eating five or six small meals daily boosts metabolism, but recent research indicates that's probably false. To increase fat metabolism, allow yourself to be slightly hungry now and then. The best way may be to eat two or three modest meals daily, with no snacks.

I heard about that gluten-free diet too. Also, it has been said that Omegas are good either!

Damn, I have never heard before about this Intermittent Fasting. I am really curious about this! I'm already starting doing some researches. Ironically, I used to have 3 meals + 2 snacks a day. But, since I started a healthy diet and eating more vegetables, fruits, food with more fiber, etc, I ended up being not hungry for longer periods. I.e., I've started to eat only 3 meals a day. And, in fact, I am being more productive during the times I'm not eating. I have a few doubts though, I would like to know if you guys could help me. Let's see if I understood this well: let's say I eat only between the hours of 11am until 7pm. What does it really mean to eat only during this eight hour window? I have to be constantly eating during this period or I just have 2 meals, for instance, one at 11am and other at 6am? That's the part I'm not getting that well. And during fast, do you drink water or some non-caloric fluids?

@David :) I've tried this before and I read that the actually ideal/max dose is 3/4 garlic cloves. But, it started to suck a bit, because of the bad breath. And, besides that, the flatulence became really really smelly. So I've stopped taking it... How it goes for you during the day? Many people is talking here about the cold shower. I want to start doing this, thought I don't know what are the real benefits. I know that if a person has high blood pressure is not healthy, because it will raise it more. Low temperatures (including cold weather) constrict blood vessels. As a result, blood pressure rises because more pressure is needed to force blood though narrowed blood vessels.. For now, when I take a shower, I just rinse my body with cold water which is stimulating to the nervous system and to wake me up. It also helps retain heat in my body by constricting surface blood vessels. This topic should be merged into this one!

This is actually pretty interesting, because since I became more concerned with subjects like taking care of my own health and body, meditation, spiritual enlightment, etc, I began to lose interest in viewing pornography and also in masturbating. I don't know, but in the past, the moment I thought "go masturbate, go now!", I was automatically horny to do it, even only thinking about it. But now, I can say that bores me. And, previously, when I watched porn, I usually got excited as f*ck! Now, it doesn't even turn me on. I have to force myself to stay excited. However, if I am with a woman, hell yeah, now we talkin'! It's weird... Maybe because I'm getting older, so I do not get excited that easily, dunno. Or my body wants real business! But I still masturbate sometimes. Not as much as before though... I know that, physiologically speaking, ejaculating is good for our health and well-being. There are several studies that say that an orgasm a day can lower a man's risk of prostate cancer by 20%. It also helps your muscles getting hard, improving your immunity system and boosting your mood. When I abstain for too long, my two little boys usually start hurting. And, sometimes, my body, during sleep, takes care of it and I have the so called wet dream. It is happening less and less though, but I think that's because I am aging. You can also watch The Sperm Race Game documentary. There, they say that exists this myth that if we don't ejaculate for too long, our sperm will be better to pregnant. But the truth is that older sperm since they are fragile, they will die and release substances that can actually harm youger sperm. Ejaculating is a natural thing after all. When I saw this video, the first thing I thought was: "How tha hell can he read so much!?" In all my life, reading has never been one of my best skills. I love learning new things and I want to increase my knowledge everyday. And, by chance, the best way to do that is, in most cases, by reading. And, honestly, I suck at it. I'm still a college student and I have to study tons of pages. What happens is that I can rarely or I never finish reading all the subjects for an exam (for example). I feel like I read really really slow. Sometimes I even get demotivated, because my colleagues are way faster than me. In addition, I tend to get distracted very easily. And the slower I read, the more distracted I get. This also affects my retention... I can't remember anything at all or I have to do great efforts to memorize when I study/read something. I saw somewhere that there are many ways to improve our reading speed and, thereby, to improve our retention also. Leo, you say that you read a lot... The main question here is: How? How do you do it? How can I become a book devourer (in a good way) like you? I may be wrong, but you surely know many ways to improve our reading, comprehension, memory and focus skills. Best regards!
