Yeah, only when ''you die'' is the real you truly liberated from the body. Not that the body is a bad thing, but the soul (only when you have an real out of body experience do you know what the soul is) uses it as a vehicle for now. -

The soul or awareness is not bound by the body. Personally I have been out of my body and seen it from ''outside'' four times with my light body (what we call the soul, it was mostly energy, pure energy). The thought of death does not in the least disturb me, death is the beginning of an adventure. -
What to do we really fear? It is death, non-existence. Realize that death doesn't exist and is an illusion, then you are free and liberated. If the mind would look at the Whole, it would see immediately that life is immortal and indestructible. ''Man has created death.''

Enlightenment will end suffering and make you realize that the divine is not a matter of belief but a fact based on countless direct experiences. It can help with emotional problems for sure as well. But no, I'm not here to get over some emotional problem, I began my journey because it was in my nature to try to discover the Truth of this reality, which ultimately took me to a higher power, the divine, the creator, the absolute. The experience cannot be described by words. -

The entire world is but a succession of experiences happening within awareness. -
''We are humans. we are not god...''. That's absolutely right, thank you finally.

Everything is ultimately energy, matter is an illusion. All matter is simply condensed energy. “Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual” – Richard Conn Henry -

It is a state that happens after intense years of meditation and self-inquiring, or by using several psychedelics. -
If infinity is a fact, it is only so when experienced and known only trough that experience. All attempts trying to understand it trough the mind is futile. I don't deny that reality is infinite because I take Leo's word for it, he has experienced it. His experience is no less valuable than mine, and if anything is true it is pure direct experience. But we still don't know what it is no matter how much we try, we have to experience it trough dmt or whatever. As for time, it's an illusion, although a very good one.

It's not an ego distraction, it's exactly the route to freedom from the ego. The ego mind/body mind must die. God-realization isn't possible for the ordinary consciousness. God is the ultimate truth, but few know that because they haven't experienced it, and to do so requires intense work or dmt. Experience have taught me that reality is 1 billion times away from what our minds thinks about it, it's simply extraordinary. All ''knowledge'' about it is meaningless because 99% of it is in our minds, not pure experience. Trying to grasp reality with the mind is pointless, it leads nowhere. It's purpose is to either navigate life or be turned inward, where it belongs. -

Nice experience! The ''i'' that is looking (awareness) is absolutely the Same, it is the One. I have been a regular smoker for two years so I know what you mean. -
@Angelo John Gage Most things in this world are not known, everything from free will to materialism. It's all mental masturbation, none of it is actually real. So the best is to say I don't know. I don't know is the best position, it's the purest. This I know; I and you exist, and God exist because of my direct experiences, that's all. The rest is nothing, it doesn't exist for me, or it exists ONLY in the mind.

Maybe it cannot be known... It's just speculation, just talking. But how to really know, that's the question.

Truth, like countless other stuff, isn't accessible to science. Science is concerned with understanding the material world, but even science itself has proven it to be immaterial (quantum psychics). So what's left of materialism? Nothing. The truth is that awareness alone exists, and you can't have anything without it. -
Only a few (family etc) will truly love you for who you are, so I wouldn't bother with it. Be yourself, if someone loves you or not is not your problem, it is their problem. True love is rare, especially loyalty. Be love because that is your true nature, give it to whomever wants it, and remove yourself from those who don't. My advice.

Out of body experiences, which I have experienced four times, proves idealism. Ultimately, I would say reality is both material and immaterial, but it's essence is immaterial, it's ground is God. -

We live in a low-consciousness world (especially the western world), ruled by reason and science. You just have to follow your path, one day the human collective will wake up. -

My father is a Muslim, my mother a Christian. I was an agnostic, now I'm nothing. I still know a lot about Christianity and Islam due. '''How do you know what that person experiences on their empirical evidence of the god?''. It is clear that most religious people believe simply because they parents believed. From my experience and common sense, I know that God exists, or at least a higher power. But that's because I experienced it, not because of my parents. My spiritual journey took me far and high, enough to say that I agree with religion on the existence of God. Other than that, it's mind-made nonsense. '' If the reality is paradoxical in many ways how are you so sure that the world was not created indeed as mentioned in various religious teachings?''. Sounds like you mean it wasn't created in the first place. Maybe it came from nothing, or by chance like the old Darwinists proclaimed. Lol That the world was created has little to with religion, it is pure common sense. -

Yeah that's clear, my point is only that awareness/presence alone is real. The big question is if an independent and objective world exist apart from awareness, which I'm not sure about yet. -
Highest replied to Shanmugam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
''If there is no awareness of existence, then there is simply nothing, nobody is there to witness the existence''. The problem is that you are implying that existence exist, that it is real, that it came before awareness. But in truth there is only pure awareness/presence being aware. Where is existence, what exactly does it mean? We are aware of ourselves and this outside world, that's it. Then we start calling it names. -
Highest replied to Shanmugam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I am what I am. When we say existence or the universe we are creating new concepts, knowing what you are can only happen in silence and is beyond the mind. No one can be separate from existence? What is existence? A better word is awareness. Everyone is awareness, no one is separated from that, no matter how much they are unaware of being it. -
It is wise to restrict yourself from waste of time. Instead use it to the fullest, the present moment is a beautiful thing. I would indulge in That. The outside world is a great tool for growth as well, but I myself don't indulge much in it. I don't have any interest in it anymore, nor do I need it. But for many it is vital, so yeah.

We first have to ask what the absolute is? The Self, infinity, or God? Although most people Believe in God they don't Know. Common sense isn't enough, experience of a higher power is needed, which can happen by pure self-inquiring, meditation, or contemplation. I would say the REALIZATION of the existence of higher powers/intelligence is the grandest thing possible to grasp, also the most liberating. But most people don't see, they think ''Where is this God'', because they don't see Him they believe he doesn't exist, although this is a fallacy and everything shows this fact, from DNA to a little ant, to the most complex being, yourself. The eyes have to see, the mind have to understand, then it becomes clear. No matter if it is infinity or nothingness, it is a higher power (God). A human being at his core is nothing, nature created us in the womb, nature continues to create us all the time before we even knew how to make a car or an airplane. DNA is more intelligent than us, although we can barely see it, what it does is something we never could do.

You have to go ''mad'' to find out the absolute truth, you have to lose your mind. With that said, it doesn't surprise me that a lot of stuff you previously liked doesn't seem appealing anymore, it happened to me as well, I don't have any interest in almost anything anymore. That's just me. But indeed your situation is not rare. I would still find out the truth, it's better than any superficial thing in this world. Family, Truth, God. That's my life motto. -

It is all there is. It allows experience or awareness to exist, after that comes the whole world.
