From nothing everything springs forth. Yes you are absolutely nothing, but at the same time you are all that which is. It's a paradox, that's reality. I've tried to be just nothing, empty, and detached, but I have realized that I am also existence itself. It's me! There is no escape from that. -
“Death is the most misunderstood phenomenon. People have thought of death as the end of life. That is the first, basic misunderstanding.'' - Osho If I say the soul exists after death, it is only a hypothesis for you. For me this is an experience. I don't believe in it: I know it.'' - Osho

Leo said it, Meher Baba claimed to be God in human form, the Vedanta says You are Brahman (God), the Sufis say God and the soul are One and the same. I know you have to experience it to fully understand it. But let us have a try. What does it actually mean that you are the God? Does it mean that God made himself a finite being with the possibility to know itself, or did we become finite to experience ourselves when we actually are God? How is it even possible, what does it really mean and entail? I have a difficulty getting my mind around it, it's a profound thing. Would appreciate any help to try and understand it.

It goes to say that we have a Self beyond the ego, eternal and infinite. There are others who say that there is no self. I like the idea of no-self (Anatta) but the Upanishads make a good case for the Self which they claim can be directly experienced and known, which they also claim is identical to Brahman (God). What is your opinion, do we have a self or not, and why?

Personally, my obstacle is that I cannot do any more spiritual growth cuz every month I'm injected with a syringe after my extreme psychosis breakthrough, where I left my body completely and experienced another reality, far away from what we normally think about reality. -

Ignorance. He cannot know his true nature, literally. That's why the path of meditation is hardcore, it is to end ignorance. There's more than the physical world, one who is trapped there in normal consciousness cannot know anymore than what he sees. But once the veil of ignorance is broken, reality is seen as it is, glorious. -
You are not who you think you are my friend. Self-inquire into what you are, who you are. Introspect. The truth is harsh but it is worth it. The ego self creates it's own reality and suffering, find out it's source and it disappears, just like it does in deep sleep. You want freedom and happiness, but you don't want to disappear, your little self doesn't want to disappear. I know it feels huge and very real, that's part of the great cosmic illusion. The journey is long, but start while you are young, at some point the ego self will be seen just as a dream which passed away, it was nothing but a dream, completely made up by the mind.

I try to be as empty as possible. And detached.

That's interesting. I have been in lucid dreaming, it's not the same as in waking life that's for sure. But it did not kill my self, even now a sense of Self creeps in here and now. Lucid dreaming is definitively a higher states of consciousness, but is it enough to transcend the entire self? Of course, you kinda have a new self in this lucid dreaming, but when you wake up does your old self come back? I think only true death can end the Self, which is possible in this very life as well. -

That's true. It is possible to wake up in this very life, but death is what does it best, it finishes ''you'' off for good. It's the greatest teacher. (y) -

Thank you my friend, I wish I could go deeper but I can't. I came to the conclusion that I am not, that what IS simply is, and that is that. I gave up and accepted defeat. -

You are right, I don't exist. I am aware of that to some degree, but then there is the notion that I alone exists, that I am everything. But the ''i'' sounds superficial, I can't find a solid ''I''. It's more language than truth. -
Knowing is limited, the intellect is limited. I don't trust anything with certainty. I don't feel I need to know anything, I leave everything to be for itself, I do it consciously, leaving everything for itself, whatever may be true or false, real or not, I don't indulge in it.

Only an authentic being will understand another authentic being, but ultimately no one can understand you better than yourself, just be and all will be fine. I lost all my friends and my sense of identity, both internal and external (social) identity. Both the peace is worth it.

I have almost been there, countless people have experienced it, it's more probable that it is real. But of course how it is experienced is far different from the concept of it. It can only be truly understood after experiencing it. But the ''i'' is not needed, existence can exist without the notion of an ''i'', it's just superficial language game. From my experiences, what absolute nothingness means is that the true nature of yourself is impersonal nothingness or emptiness, so much that you actually do not exist, you drown in the emptiness until you disappear then you become everything that is, at the end you stop identifying yourself as everything. Now only what IS is, alone. You can trigger this by being the observer yes, you can also trigger it with other methods, like introspection, self-inquiry, neti-neti method, etc. -

You intellectually know that there is no ''I'' which I agree with but you have not experienced absolute nothingness (not me either) which is why we keep forgetting it. You say you are nothing but in fact you are non-existent. There simply just is what is. But you are not. What is simply is, but taking away a ''me'' from it can mean a lot. Space is created, existence is free to be the way it is, identification with existence perishes, but existence/awareness continues to be what it is, like it always have and always will. Existence is all there is, One and Alone. To say I am existence is to create separation, to say ''it'' is existence is to create another separation. No, it is undivided, One and self-existent, eternal without a second. -

That's one aspect of ''me'', it goes deeper than experiences. It's about identification, which goes deep down. If you don't identify yourself with anything, not even existence itself, what remains? -

Hell and heaven are states of mind. In the next incarnation, bad impressions and good still live on with the mind, they have to be wiped out. Only a god-realized soul is liberated from this. -

The ego is not born, thus it does not die. The ultimate goal is not the death of the ego but the death of the mind. -
The self is false, thus the ego is false. There is only existence. There is no one being existence, existence simply is. Identification arises, ''I am existence, I am, etc'', but all of it is false. Identity is itself false.

A guru is a liberated being, which requires evolution and the death of the Self. Mankind cannot do this alone, they are controlled by the body-mind and ego-mind, they can never be liberated without the help of a master. The whole world is anti-guru because it is pro ego, especially the west. And thus the world will continue to suffer, only mass self-realization with the help of masters can evolve mankind. -

Close your eyes and feel your isness, just the feeling that you are here now. Open your eyes and realize that you are not anything you perceive, not your body, not the outside world, not even space. What we are cannot be directly seen, it can only be made aware of, the best way is to close your eyes. All you see now is darkness but you are not this empty darkness either, go deeper. You simply are, find that feeling, and you will realize what you are simply IS eternally and has no characteristics. -

Reality is you and the whole of creation. Ultimate reality is simply what IS, that isness is invisible and beyond creation, that is what we are, that which exists in deep sleep. From that everything springs forth, but it is not dependent upon anything, it exists independently and boundlessly. -
When a sage realizes that he is absolutely nothing, then he realizes that God is and God is all there is. The outside world is an illusion, it doesn't exist. True success is indeed inner success, but ultimately a dead man knows of no such thing.
