Does anybody know what these are? I ask the people around me and they don't know what it is. I've been told its a contrail but i don't know if its true because i've also been told its a chemtrails. I am not propagating a conspiracy thread, I am just genuinely curious as to what these are & why they exist. I don't think commercial planes leave this trail behind & the jets that are high up in the air leave a trail but it dissipates within a few seconds. These on the other hand are much more closer to the ground & remain in the atmosphere for hours on end creating a very thin layer of cloud. Interestingly, these planes tend to fly right under the sun (from my point of view), diluting the suns intensity. I've heard stuff about geoengineering and the attempts to cover the sunlight to reverse global warming however I think that's like putting on a band aid to cure cancer. Also, during the lockdown, there aren't much flights taking off however these planes come by every few hours. I'm curious. some of the questions I have that I hope you guys can enlighten me on. 1. Why do they exist? What is the purpose? 2. Whats the actual substance? is it condensation or is it chemicals like some people convey? 3. Is it prevalent all around the globe? Do you guys see it where you live?

@universe https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/01/us-geoengineering-research-gets-lift-4-million-congress# https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.technologyreview.com/2019/12/20/131449/the-us-government-will-begin-to-fund-geoengineering-research/amp/ I believe its already have been implemented based on my observation alone. These trails are way too consistent to be contrails. They almost seem scheduled where I live. -

@Consept I just came across this government article. Check out page 6. I doubt its merely a contrail. https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CHRG-111hhrg53007/pdf/CHRG-111hhrg53007.pdf -

i would say david icke's craziness requires a somewhat radical degree of open mindedness. What would be a better place to start than some mind fucking conspiracy theories

Recently went some what viral on twitter. A lot of people seem to agree with the analogy even though I pulled it out my ass. I am getting a lot of notifications where people are talking about trying the substances for the first time.

Have decided to self retreat starting tomorrow until tuesday. No timelapes this time bc it seems redundant. Going to be doing vipassana meditation for 9.5 hours along with some Sambhavi, Inner Silence & Yoga Nidra. Send some love & kindness my way -

Planning to set a 3 day retreat at home. I have been feeling drained from spending my time on the internet & even though i've been meditating alot, I still feel like I am mostly oriented outwards. Have any of you guys experimented with self retreating ? -

@Globalcollective nope ! no mystical experiences as of now although I've reached some remarkable levels of stillness (remarkable in terms of my own prior experiences) -

Thank you for all the kind words. You guys inspire me by making me realize I am inspiring others. @Jacobsrw small session are definitely powerful. My approach is to build some remarkable determination in my first few years of practice so in the future, I'll have extremely powerful concentration even if I'm sitting for a few minutes. @Husseinisdoingfine Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N Goenka @Nahm Yes I did grow up 'around' meditation although I resisted it until I was 17. I was forced to go to some Osho retreats at a very early age so i did have exposure but I didn't understand anything until I tried psychedelics and began to listen to Leo. The two people I've listening to speak the most would be Osho & Leo. Thousands of hours at this point. I've been listening to Osho's Hindi discourses and they are really really really advanced especially his talks on meditation specifically. Leo has served the purpose of providing me with a strong theoretical foundation, all else is intuition @nistake During the 21 days, I got a sharp pain on my right groin every single day at the 2 hour mark. I was able to endure it and sit through one of the days but other days I thought I was messing up my nerves and joints so I ended up moving. I doubt that I was doing any massive damage, most likely just mind games to get me to move. There were sits where I was so focused and equanimous that the pain totally disappeared but then there were sits where I dreaded my existence. I think its just a matter of practice. I once heard a quote that 'all sensation... pleasant or painful are merely the body adjusting to change'... so taking that into consideration, the pain would've probably disappeared if I kept doing 3 hours. @Son of leo thats not a good problem to have. I would suggest you set some boundaries and get back into meditation! -

Ahh the irony -
I nominate all meditators in this forum who are currently in self isolation - to meditate 3 hours a day for the next 21 days... Document the process & publish a video titled... "I meditated 3 hours straight for 21 days, this is what happened! " I am currently on day 2 of 21 and attempting to complete at least one 3 hour strong determination Vipassana Sit per day. Lets create a wave of bliss...

@Raphael Yes my family is into meditation & I was very lucky to be introduced although I did resist it for 16 years of my life until I tried psychedelics. @tenta Its just a formal mindfulness body scanning technique. Some threads of Theravada Buddhism claim that this was Gautam Buddha's main teaching. The results are spiritual purification, increased mindfulness & equanimity. Ultimately leading to full liberation. @Waken Any fool can meditate but it takes a wise man to remain mindful when shit hits the fan Definitely brother, its just mind games. Its just takes a desire to push yourself and commitment to actually execute it. Doing 3 hour was way off my radar just a month ago and now 5 hours seem outrageous but one day I will do it. Its definitely true that one hour bypasses very quickly when the alarm is set for 2 hours. Self Deception at its finest! @cypres very true although I think its only so in the initial stages. After some practice, your endurance for dealing with 'storms' increases and you're able to get through most experiences even if they are very difficult. -
