  1. @andyjohnsonman Thoughts are illusion in a relative sense. In the Absolute sense there is No Thing. There is no separation. The idea of illusion is within Everything. The idea of not illusion is within Everything. There is No Thing in Everything. The notion of Everything seems too simple to a mind. It thinks “wait a second. There must be more to it. What about this? What about that”. The mind will seek for the One. If it is fortunate, the mind will realize it is within the One. Any thing that happens or exists is within the One. The mind realizes it cannot be anything outside the One. There is no way out of Everything. This is extremely unpalatable and maddening to the mind and it generally dismisses the realization as too simple. That can’t be “IT”. So it goes on searching for Everything unaware that it is Everything. In the Absolute, Everything really really really means Everything. Absolutely no exceptions. With this realization, perhaps your mind will relax and you will get direct experiences of this Everything. That’s when things get really fascinating. Liberation beyond imagination.
  2. @andyjohnsonman And all those thoughts about what is delusional are also within the One Consciousness, which is Everything. Is there anything outside of Everything? Try to imagine some thing outside of Everything. You can’t do it. Any new thing that arises is within Everything. It’s all one giant Everything. No thing can be outside of Everything, So Everything = No Thing = Nothing That touches upon the Absolute, which can be perceived as being relative. In the Absolute, all the pround Buddhist and Advaita teaching have no more significance than a pebble. It’s all within Everything. In relative perception, those Buddhist and Advaita teachings may have profound meaning - relative to the mind perceiving it.
  3. Nice insight. Do you see that any thought that arises has no more relevance than a bird chirp? It is all consciousness.
  4. I’ve never smoked 5-meo. I’ve often said plugging is far superior to snorting IME. Other forum users have experience with smoking ROA and will be able to help you.
  5. @Ampresus A wonderful insight worthy of a laugh ?
  6. I had a different interpretation of the analogy. The idea of comparing a person to a disease never even crossed my mind until I read your post. For me, it was about relating one phenomena to another phenomena. Looking back on it, my impression is that this context was understood among participants. Yet, I can see how a mind could interpret the analogy at a personal level and how that would be problematic within a discussion. There are only so many perpectives a mind can hold. Each time I make an analogy, I can shape it the best I can to how it might be received by several different perspectives, yet my mind is unable to scan through the infinite number of recipient perspectives to craft the ideal analogy. My mind can’t read other minds. Sometimes a mind needs cues from the receiving mind as feedback. This is particularly challenging on text forums. 90% of meaning is nonverbal (tone of voice, body language, facial expression etc). Those cues are absent here, which makes crafting efficient communication more daunting.
  7. Sometimes I contemplate a universal intelligence. Why is reality evolving? Where are we evolving to?
  8. Some Yellow beings are into social engineering and I think it can have unintended consequences. Personally, I really want societies to evolve up the spiral and I often feel desire to push the progress faster.
  9. If we assume that is true, I agree that it would be an important issue within systemic racism to address. It would be one of several components of course. Good point, thanks. ?
  10. That’s so true! I used to compete with my former and future selfs. For example, I would train really hard for marathons to beat my previous self’s time and to make it hard for my future self to beat. So bizarre how the mind works. . . @Joseph Maynor Wow! That is intense Orange! ?
  11. Even if we assume that as true from one perspective, it doesn’t mean that racism doesn’t exist or it shouldn’t be addressed. In fact, it would mean we should double our efforts to eliminate systemic racism. My mom would love that argument because it suggests liberals and minorities are hurting themselves with their own racism.
  12. T - 4min. plugged
  13. @Emerald I went through a predominately internal reality construct and a few people told me I didn’t comprehend “intention vs. impact” regarding my words and actions. Do you think it’s related? I would imagine if someone couldn’t understand external perspectives in their life, they would have a harder time comprehending the impact they are having on others (i.e. how their words / actions would impact someone with a different perspective) Taken to an extreme, couldn’t someone who is sitting by a person that is suffering think “I am creating this suffering person in my mind. I take full responsibility for the internal reality I am creating”, and just sit there as the person suffers?
  14. I’m now at a loss how to explain it. It looked like we were making some progress, yet those statements are so far off the mark. Do you realize from the perspective I am trying to explain to you, those comments would be perceived as extremely hurtful? One problem with a limited perspective is being unaware of intention and impact
  15. I understand you are aware it exists. I’m saying you are not “getting it” from other perspectives. How did you create the suffering of the family I lived with in Hondorus? And how does saying that “you created it, not their society” help with their societal racism and violence? I’m imagining you telling this to this community and shaking my head. . .
  16. There are people that are suffering within their relative reality. People that hold racist views and people perceiving racism. From my experience, these relative realities exist. Views like “we create our own reality” or “thoughts are delusion” may provide liberation and comfort to the one who has awakened to it. Yet what does it do for the person that has been conditioned with racist views that are now repressed? The person who now experiences a sense of separation, fear and hatred? Does saying “Well, that person is just experiencing the delusion of conditioned thought” help them in any way to realize that? And the person who perceives a racist attack against them. Does your personal revelation help them in their relative world of suffering? I’ved lived in communities with intense racism and poverty. With people that are oppressed. Starving. Direct experience. Go get some experience with the wrath of racism and oppression. I have in 3rd world countries. It will blow away your concepts and expand your sense of being. Or at least acknowledge that other people’s relative perspectives are based on extensive direct experience combined with conceptual knowledge. That their relative perspective may be broader and deeper than your own. It seems like you are in a bubble, yet under the assumption that you’ve got some type of broad understanding.
  17. That is not a relativist perspective. It’s either an objectivist view or an absolutist view. From a relativist view, your statement is just a relative truth to you. The assumption that “reality is what it is” is a block from understanding other views, because their view will appear as “not what reality is”. You would need to let go of that assumption to understand other perspectives (which are relative to the other person). This can be extremely diffucult to do depending on the level of attachment and identification to the given reality that “is what it is”.
  18. Whoosh! What you write is true within your relative spiritual bubble. Yet c’mon. . . There is a whole ‘nother relative world you aint woke to. It’s like everything Emerald is trying to reveal to you goes through this processing software that spits out an answer within it’s own bubble.
  19. @Emerald Thank you! Spiritual bypassing is a new concept to me - now that I see it, it looks totally obvious ?. With spiritual bypassing, do you find it generally best not to engage? As well, sometimes I can perceive someone as being overall closed-minded and not see that there are both blocks and open avenues to pursue. All part of developing skills. . .
  20. There are teachers. There are men and women that have dedicated their lives to develop expertise that they teach to others. Do I learn from my students? Of course. Yet to say I’m not a teacher is nonsense. Organizing and implementing your “coming togethers” would be very complex and challenging. People with racist tendencies will NOT want to attend. They will try to disrupt these “coming togethers” - at times violently. And we would need to overcome an enormous amount of resistance to help them reach the type of awkenings you propose. It’s not so easy as “just come together, discuss thoughts and awaken to your delusions” I don’t get the sense you have experience in this area or care to learn.
  21. From my POV, you have done a lot of personal exploration. Yet, I don’t get the sense you understand how challenging it is to teach others and promote societal change. It takes A LOT of work and A LOT of teaching skill development. People who have racist tendencies will NOT want to attend these “coming togethers”. In fact, they will try to disrupt these “coming togethers” - at times with violence This goes waaay beyond personal revelations. That’s only the beginning.
  22. Great stuff. This seems more like an individual level. This sounds hyper focused on content. Content is really important, yet so is implementation. You’ve got the content. Now, how do we bring forth these “coming togethers” to help others awaken to delusional racism within the context you wrote above? And how do you present the content to minds that have resistance? How do you create a “coming together” environment for awakening?
  23. I think that is great. How can we disseminate that awareness at a societal level? As we sit here pontificating about consciousness, people that have not awakened to what you wrote are suffering and harming others due to that conditioning. Let’s say I’ve stepped out of that conditioned delusion. Great for me!!! How does that help other people still suffering from that conditioned delusion?
  24. My impression was you were speaking of One consciosness, not relative individual relative consciousness
