Heehee. I promoted it as very “interdisciplinary, with an abundance of diverse perspectives” And to throw them off my trail, I titled the course “The Evolution of Consciosness”. That little bit of Darwinian pixie dust was just enough fragrance to relax their resistance. A little bit of Turquoise Ninja. . . Btw, your work on SD got me hooked and inspired me to teach it.

@zambize SD is inherently a meta view. It can’t be taught well from a Tier1 perspective. I teach it at a college from a Yellow perspective. It’s difficult for students at their developmental level. We spend 20 minutes each class in meditation and discussion on attachments/identification. After a several weeks, their minds opened up quite a bit to relative perspectives.

She is Green alright, yet never touched Turquoise. She has some really strong attachment/identification to climate change. I haven’t seen someone challenge Mooji so strongly.

Perhaps you’ve had some glimpses into awakening and the ego is resisting -
@caelanb I think Clare Graves died before his work was published and never gained traction like Maslow’s hierarchy of needs did. I teach the basics of SD at a college, yet my colleagues have never heard if it.

I would try “Do Nothing” meditation as per Leo’s video. Trying to stop a busy mind generally makes it worse. -

IME, the mental challenge is surrending control of the mental narrative. Aya is roughly on par with LSD and Shrooms. San Pedro and Ald-52 is more gentle for me. I am not familiar with how to prepare Aya. You would need to research that My understanding is it’s straightforward for a chemist with proper equipment. -

I’d say it’s more like surrendering to being all things. -

I would be cautious with Aya. Not only can it be mentally challenging, it can be very physically demanding. As well, proper Aya preparation takes skill. It’s not as straightforward as synthesizing LSD. I’ve found Aya to be quite rofoynd, yet I would start off with LSD or DMT. I was grateful I had a few trips under my belt before doing an Aya retreat. -

Also like drinking a bland Wuuthie out in the cold rain? Relative to context and perspective? -

@tecladocasio That can be a a source of resistance for the ego, yet it is from the perspective of the ego. It’s like the ego is saying “I may not be a perfect self, yet why trade me in for an asshole self”? -

Blue is a pre-logical binary mode of being. @Aimblack well said Ooooh, nice one! That’s like a refreshing green/yellow smoothie on a warm summer day. -

@Gligorije One example is that Green is more developed than Orange for post-logical modes of being. -

I’ve had many experiences like that when the self temporarily dissolves away and just awareness remains. Sometimes there is a sense of connection and Oneness, other times it’s uncomfortable. -
Did that concept of awakening arise from that which is aware or from the pursuasive little bastard?
-
I try not to shut off that type of thinking. I’ve found it more easing to do practices that calm down that busy mind. When the chatter arises and won’t settle, I’ve found it better to just allow it. Trying to shut it off and stop it generally makes it worse.
-
Is there desire to let go and go deeper in the midst of the resistance?
-
What is the ego scared might happen if it lets go without a satisfactory reason and undestanding why?
-
@ZZZZ Pure being.

I find it difficult to progress with a busy mind. Activities that settle the mind are helpful: yoga, running, listening to nonduality speakers, meditation etc. -
I think it’s also possible that a Tier3 emerges, Tier1 goes extinct and Tier2 becomes the foundation. Children would be raised into Yellow/Turquoise. Tier1 would be ancient history.
