Of course not. There is the relative human experience. ♥️ ?

The construct of “me” is within a more expansive consciousness. The term “awakening” suggests a “before” and “after” awakening. This an an imaginary door within a timeline. It can be useful at the personal level, yet it would be more accurate to simply say there is awakeness, rather than “I have awakened”. I think taking one step back from the personality and simply saying “There is ISness” can be helpful at the personal level since it removes personal attachment and identification. -

A general comment: please don’t hijack threads. The OP has requested it get back on topic. ? -
@Jed Vassallo Today is day five. I’ve been vaping freebase thus far - about 1-3mg. I’m not weighing it out. Intensity ranges from light to strong. I’ll be introducing plugging soon. Likely today. Vaping offers higher resolution.

Yes. It is more expansive than it’s own belief. It has no limits. Limits are imaginations that appear within the mind. Those appearances are within what IS. It’s right Now. A direct experience without an experiencer. -

It is more expansive than knowledge. All knowledge is within it. You are all knowledge and much much more. -

There is a fundamental difference more than language. The “little you” is within something much more expansive.The infinity of what is Now. -

I should add that what I wrote about imaginations is also an imagination - yet I can’t see any way around that. -
I’m experimenting with daily 5-meo trips (once per day). In the past, I’ve had “breakthroughs” consciousness within the trip. Afterwards, there is plenty time to recover and integrate (2-8 weeks). Here, there is a new element are with consecutive days. Today there was “breakthrough” consciousness within the series of daily trips. Not like an “ah ha!” realization after a breakthrough trip. This was more like a transcendent breakthrough over a collective series of trips.

Ideas of what dual and nondual perspectives are like are imaginations of the mind. Nothing wrong with that. Yet there is also a transcendence of that. Similarly permanent and impermanent is an imagination. There is transcendence of that also. -

The gaps between thought storms is a great way to describe it. ?? Sometimes the mind-body is caught in the storm and it’s miserable. Yet there is also a peaceful place to rest with the storm occurring “outside”. It is a very different experience. Here, even storms can be beautiful to watch and experience. -

Yes, I’m aware of Shin’s thoughts on this. I was curious about your thoughts. There is no right or wrong answer. ? -

Human minds may be limited in their concept of “life” and “intelligence”. A simple example. . . a few hundred years ago the idea of microorganisms didn’t exist. No one had conceived of the idea. It wasn’t until the first crude microscopes were invented that this idea arose. And it was considered insane. - Tiny little organisms all over that we can’t see? Preposterous!! - Microorganisms were unkown and invisible to humans for thousands of years. And then one day we saw them. Are there forms of life of which the human mind has not or cannot currently conceive? What might expansion of human consciousness at individual and collective levels reveal? Might new technology allow us to see forms of life that we cannot conceive of? Allow humans yo see what is unknown and invisible? -

This is just based on my experience. . . Deep immersion into solo trips is a great way to step “outside” the whole story. For example, a few weeks in isolated villages in Belize the story of “me” dissolved. It wasn’t an escape from me it was the dissolution of me. There was full “beingness” in Now. A couple times, someone asked me “what I did”, “whereI’m from” or “what my life is like”. There would be a pause of nothingness. Like I didn’t understand the question. Then there was realization that there is something called a “person” he is asking about. Then I had to put in effort to retrieve this story and piece it back together. Like some old movie or book I read. “Oh yes, this story began as birth in New Jersey. There was time spent in College. He works as a biologist in this story”. Complete detachment and dis- identification. It’s one thing to theorize about it and another thing to have the direct experience of it. And I’m not talking a few glimpses here or there during meditation. I’m talking consecutive days. I’ve found removing myself from the story is a key ingredient. From here, observing the personal story and how it was constructed is incredibly powerful. Now you have the awareness to deconstruct it. Another approach is to become deeply immersed into the story and observe from within the story. This has also yielded insights and understanding, yet it can be intense on my mind-body and I feel the need to be cautious that I don’t harm my mind-body. I’ve pushed it past discomfort into zones in which my mind-body indicated it was entering a harm zone and to pause, slow down or change direction.

The idea of decision making is within the realm of a timeline. Decisions are part of the ongoing story within the human construct of a timeline. Nothing wrong with that. Yet, humans become so immersed within this timeline they lose awareness of Now. The concept of choice/decision is a major anchor into dualities of the timeline. When I am presented with an apple or banana. I grab the apple and start eating it. This “decision” is based in the timeline. “Well, I already had a banana this morning, so I should should eat an apple to have a well balanced diet in my life. I’ll chose the apple”. That’s all fine and dandy, yet it isn’t actual Now. . . .The actuality of Now is reaching toward the apple appears. then chewing appears, then sensations of flavor appear. Thoughts of “this apple is delicious! I made the right decision” appear. Who is making “decisions”? There are simply appearances, including the appearance of thoughts that “I am deciding to eat this apple”. -
@RawJudah I’d say it depends in what “growth” means to you. I’ve backpacked through foreign countries for months and the growth was immense. I avoided popular tourist areas and immersed myself deep into the cultures and geography. You can also designate solo time during the trip. I haven’t done a 10 day fully isolated solo retreat, yet I’ve done shorter periods and it allowed me to face myself and what IS. To really go deep into the inner workings of the mind-body. It can get really intense for me; also very insightful and at times very uncomfortable. Each offers enormous growth potential.

@now is forever Beautiful inter-connectedness. I love that image. ♥️ ?

There is nothing to prove or disprove. Proof is within a relativistic, dualistic realm. That is, to prove a thing is a particular thing and not another thing.

I think the term “ignore” is a bit loaded. It suggests that something “should” be addressed, yet it is pushed away and “ignored”. Might this be a way for the thinking mind to stay engaged with analysis of thought stories? Trying to figure out and give meaning? What if we replaced the term “ignore” with “let go”. The phrase then becomes: “accepting and letting go”. To me, that has a very different connotation, Regarding the deconstruction of dualities, I don’t think it’s accurate to say both sides are the dynamic exactly the same. That is still within dualities. Exactly the sam as *what*? If everything was one color blue, there is nothing to contrast the color blue with. It’s not the same or different than anything. There is nothing to compare it to. There isn’t even the color blue anymore. We are not ignoring it. . . We need to *add in* the perception of another color to introduce the idea of “blue” and start discussing relative differences and similarities between blue and this new color idea that was just created.
