Direct experience is a way of being, learning and becoming. It is a key to both personal growth and personal transcendence. Yet experience can also become a thought story that the mind and body becomes attached to. The ego loves to take ownership of an experience and personalize it. “Wow, I just had an amazing no dual experience. I am making great progress. I am at a higher level than that person now. This is what my mystical experience means. . . What my friend needs is a nondual experience like mine to help wake him up. My experience was more mystical than his experience.” . . . And on and on and on. . . I would say attachments / identification to personal experience is deeper than attachment / identification to impersonal theories. Yet they are inter-related. -

@Aakash All of those thoughts stories are within what the mind and body seeks. What is Now. Yet, it’s very easy for the mind and body to become immersed, attached and identified to thought stories. Here, there may be lack of awareness that thought stories are appearing in infinite eternal Now. Personally, I find a basic structure of conceptual grounding to be helpful as grounding for the mind and body. The subjective experience of intense groundlessness can be demanding and stressful on the mind and body, Yet the mind has a tendency to seek refuge and stability by immersing itself in concepts and becoming attached and identified. -

@cetus56 You betcha. Looks and feels kinda like an ant colony to me. I imagine the impact stirring a stick wold have on the consciousness of an ant colony. . . . What if we threw in a couple sharks? What impact would that have on the human colony consciousness? -

@Javfly33 Sounds like a flow state. One can enter deep states of being whole running. And not just nondual being states . . Heightened creativity, introspection, awareness etc. Ot can be a great form of meditation for some people ?? -

Whatever the mind and body says it means. There is no universal objective meaning. Sometimes creating thought stories about meaning can be practical, other times it’s fun, other times it is disturbing to the mind and body. And sometimes it’s nice to give the thinking mind a break, let go and go with the flow. I would say manifestations of synchronicities to the person is the Universe’s way of saying “nudge, nudge - wink, wink” to itself. -

Yes. It would allow the mind and body to gradually acclimate. -

There are better LPs than McDonald’s = relative view. A McDonald’s LP is equal to all other LPs = relative view. You are mistaking your own relative view as absolute. This is an entry level Green understanding of relativism. Yellow goes deeper. I would focus on understanding relativism more deeply. Trying to add absolutism to a partial understanding of relativism will cause conflation and make it much harder to gain clarity on relativism. -

@pluto Whoa!! That’s Grid-tastic!! I gotta get one going. -
Once per day for days 1-7, skipped day 8 (just felt right to skip), once day 9. Same amounts/effects. I haven’t noticed any tolerance build up. I may try twice for a day - morning and evening.
-
Today is day 9. This goes way waaay beyond anything I have contextualized or imagined as a human form . I am in utter awe of the power of this molecule and the absolute enormity of potential. The image that comes to mind is like going from an ant to a human. Not only is this an unfathomable jump in consciousness, there is also the realization beyond the ant hill and that there is much much more out there. Now I return to ant form. Why even bother trying to contextualize this in such a limited mind form? I’m so curious how high baseline consciousness can go.
-
I’m curious: Why might this be the one and only question that puts your mind in dis-ease?

Now he's gone, now he's gone, Lord he's gone, he's gone Like a steam locomotive, rollin' down the track He's gone, he's gone and nothin's gonna bring him back, he's gone -
Nature is so genuine. Nature has no demands, expectations or agenda. Nature is simply an expression of itself. The river flows, the chipmunks scamper, the breeze moves, leaves flutter and birds sing. All in harmony together. Pure Genuine.

I hope you realize this is the equivalent of a nondual “tease” ? ? -
Yes, it’s context dependent. In this context, I agree with you that it is ridiculous. Being able to recognize context relative to one’s own experience is a skill. In another context, that would be wonderful advice. . . .I also agree with you that there are a lot more guys in their 20’s here trying to learn how to date than guys in their 40s trying to reach trans-personal nondual states within a stable relationship. There are a few videos on YT that make fun of nondualists trying to go on regular dates. It can be pretty ridiculous and I think you make a good point ?
