I mean if u wanna Truth you might feel dark night of the soul and u might feel like u gonna die so there u’ll need to have faith which means letting it be and surrendering for what’s happening and to see

Jed is cool writer and probs enlightened, but he is dogmatic, he interprets his realization in the way that makes his worldview comfy, it is still leftovers of his ego that talking. For him all reality is just fake entertainment show that doesn't exist and never ever happened. But I think he is just overwhelmed with existence of divinity. He might have lost his mind, because reaching rock bottom truly requires some extraordinary capabilities to handle its aftermath, it goes beyond any enlightenment, it goes straight to annihilation of gross matter into pure god. Ancient mystics used to prepare the hell out of themselves to reach there 'safely'. As Jed says himself, rock bottom truth can make u insane if you are not ready so he just became insane himself. he might be in pure non-dual awareness but he just couldn't handle it. Not to be hopeful but Truth exists, truth is that you are one eternal god. Truth is that everything is true. Coz you are everything once you know it. And untruth doesn't exist because it won't be there, so it cannot be. No why, truth is, because you are. I'm no expert in Buddhism, but theravada has one view - emptiness or Sunyata is absence of separate existence, but existence is one and interdependent. everything exist as a whole. while mahayana has another view saying that its all non-existence. Some people says its beyond that dichotomy. But I do not see any dichotomy frankly. Why eternal cannot be one or another? If I am and I am really Truth, and world is still happening even in timeless eternity and appearances are there although recognized as emptiness and if 'picture' of the world is still happening', then everything exist. But if I realize truth and world disappear literally, then its non-existence. Since Jed is still in this world... Its existence for me. Call it dream, magic, reality, hologram , hallucination, information but its existence if it is truth and truth speaks for itself. Its structure and complexity speaks for itself, non-existence would create chaos. If it is not truth then it is not, but then this posting wouldn't happen, and Buddha wouldn't care and Jesus wouldn't care and Muhammad wouldn't care and Jed wouldn't care, but they all do.. Truth-seeking is what makes any human-being to hustle, knowingly or unknowingly, and no one can stop hustle and live in peace and focus on being until one is not in its true nature. religions (regardless of how misleading) originally were made as a method for ppl to get one with god, to realize true nature, its another thing that ego corrupts it and mysticism too plus it is for hardcore mystics who wanted to go beyond and reach rock bottom divinity or perform miracles or to know more As for logic and thinking, there is great allegory of that in fall of man: Once humanity lost their whole (holy) non-dual subconscious nature through becoming self-aware and thus dual (tree of knowledge of good and evil) they started to identify themselves with their bodies (ashamed of nakedness), therefore it caused original sin (suffering) because now they are not in their true god's nature. Its all about becoming whole again, one with reality, that's just how it all works, its nothing personal from absolute point, just perpetuum mobile. From kabbala Which means that, it is OK to get pleasures and to discover knowledge. But first you have to come back in your true nature (become christ who's called as second adam), (on Saturday, god's day, the day of reunification with god=enlightenment), and then you will be whole god again, being experience, having pleasures of this life and seek knowledge as well because now this seeking will be out of love (philosophy - love of wisdom) and not for selfish self-survival desires (there is no one to survive after your ego 'dies' at cross). U still do surviving though just as any animal. Once you are in your true nature - you can discern between good and evil because now you are whole and god is doing it, and you won't suffer from seeing evil anymore. You will see good (god), because its all you, so you can judge out of compassion. If we are not supposed to seek knowledge we wouldn't have left-brain at all. God wants to know himself from different perspectives, from physics, chemistry... So nothing wrong with thinking per se but it is huge obstacle until you realize your true nature, after you do it - thinking will be for love and joy because everything become certain, certainty is orderliness, and order is wholeness and wholeness of three (consciousness, body, mind(soul) = father,son,spirit) is Trinity, and Trinity is love of Neo in the movie coz what else wholeness can feel like other than love n peace. Also nothing wrong with believing or imagining bout all sorts of things, you believe then you create. But again you must do so only after becoming true, until so it is distraction because anything you believe with mind can only be a part and not the whole, devil games will also be there. But Faith is a bit different, it is believing with heart. I see life of human as unsettled questioning of own existence, and outcome is quite dependent on whether one is going to have faith in what is truth=god. You cannot see no-thing-ness, only to have faith = surrender = knowing truth with no guarantees, having no reservations, let it be. Difficult but necessary. Religions are full of sacrifice and faith, because its a necessary staff. Its not the end in itself but it will push ya through. Neo has sacrificed himself in the end, coz Neo is spiritual ego (clinging), once he did all Agents died (Agents are multiple perceptions, Smith is questioning all the time: what is it for mr anderson?). And he made his choice which in the same time was pre-destined. In a sense, he sacrificed everything or his life for everything which is not him. So he sacrificed everything for nothing but blind (he was blind in the end) faith in what is true.

non-existence cannot hallucinate anything there's only existence of empty absolute that hallucinates existence of forms. its is only one existence. what's the substance of empty absolute? itself. every new hallucination is old hallucinations that existed before and mixed up into new forms any experience of void you had with meditation or psychedelics is still part of existing reality. all you nothingness realizations is that existing empty absolute surely we can play with language. but there is clearly only one absolute, and non-existence has no absolute, because it is undefined. and absolute emptiness is already self-sufficient timeless existence the other side of the coin of existence of forms is existence of emptiness non-existence is existence first of all. there is no non-existence without existence. only existence creates idea of non-existence, but whatever you point as non-existence will be existence similarly, only ego (which doesn't exist independently) creates idea of separateness but if non-existence would create existence then it should imply that ego creates oneness, but this is not the case

Nothingness and emptiness and void are very misleading names for god, they are given merely for lack of better names. All these names are seem to mean emptiness for us but they are not empty in absolute terms. In fact this emptiness is 100% full of itself, and itself is what its own substance, not some empty non-existence. These names can make you to think that god is 0 but god is plus/minus 1. Zero doesn't exist. Nothingness is not non-existence, no-thing-ness is god, one consciousness, and substance of 1 god is 1 god, not non-existence which is 0 non-existence cannot be, therefore it does not exist. only existence is. consciousness is existence. it is just one power beyond imagination but it is not non-existence. nothing in the universe turns into non-existence. it transforms into new. you cannot imagine god not because you cannot imagine nothingness, but because you can't imagine everything(ness) at once so in a sense, you do self-inquiry to find One which is everything, not to find void or nothing. you can't find nothing. but in practice anything in your imagination is not this One. so you will need inquire as if you're getting rid of absolutely everything. but this doesn't mean you're looking for actual nothing, you're looking for oneness that contains everything but the way for everything is to find no-thing-ness. meditation (which is same thing actually) is to be in the one moment, focus on one moment which is now. this one moment in presence contains everything. be more in one moment and you will be more as everything at once. also, god or consciousness is actual, but not potential. potential does not exist. only actual does. this is why its miracle, god manifests in actual forms from what already existed in old forms!!! he doesn't make out total brand new staff. He is merely recreating old staff into even more marvelous new forms. thats how humans evolved from one-cell organisms!!! that's how everything works, even art = old forms mixed into new. if he could make up everything from potential then he will create human immediately, why he needs some linear evolution??? he can only divide himself (divide and rule). he is one, and then he cuts himself into two and so on. and sees what will happen. everything is becoming more complex but it is still one. here we go, duality, and cell's division into two so in a sense, God has no clue what's he doing, nor he doesn't know his own potential, he's trying to figure out and have experience of finite, he only knows himself through being ever present oneness. evolution is smart but simple (efficient). and god is smart but simple because he is order of 1 and 1 cannot be simpler than anything. but he is creating things in present moment, so he is trying to figure it out all the time, it is just free will of creative process and it can have its own 'faults' like genetic deceases arising due to 'problems' with order during creative process. but these are subjective faults because together it is all one and perfect. he is obsessed with order. that's the only thing he knows because he is one and 1 is perfect order. chaos cannot exist. everything is just shades of more order and less order, but overall its all one order - if it is less in one place then it is more in another, everything is balanced. you can either be one again in this experience and be in perfect order and peace and be your true self, or be 'separated' from one and be in less order, it doesn't change oneness but it can change ever-changing big picture but picture is still one. so all is well not because you are nothing but because you are everything. nothing is out of equation coz it cannot exists so you can call it dream then it is all dream both in day and night. but it is not non-existence. you can awaken from separation and still call it dream or call it reality. you can call it reality straight away, then your night dreams are real too. it doesn't matter, dreams = reality. but existence is not equal to non-existence. So we all exist, congrats. I can relax now after many months of being non-existent.

this no thing is god. you wouldn't be here if this no-thing is non-existence, and you are writing this coz you r in doubts yourself there is only existence and it is one, that's all nonduality is about it cannot be both non-existence and existence at the same time because you will simply put one above another and it is only one. and im being, im not focusing on my language and dual mind, its all comes from my being contemplations

The more I contemplate the less I know. No books on truth can conform me, everyone seem to reinterpret Truth in any way they prefer. I wish all scientists in the world have Truth-realization. I think left-brainers can write good book on truth. more precise one. ppl assuming staff endlessly, im so fed up

@Shanmugam interesting book, although he discusses reincarnation a lot there, he seems to merely disbelieve it instead of dispassionate analysis of buddhism. I wonder what's your stance on reincarnation

I don't buy illusions = reality. It should be either everything is illusion or everything is reality. And frankly everyone here is confused. If all is dream, then why infinity have dream instead of no dream?

my topic on nonduality in the video requests subforum has been disappeared after small discussion about what is true nonduality hmmm... how to i explain this? is it maya playing along.. gets stranger and stranger.. i still think Leo needs to give a shot and shoot one big video on nonduality to clarify as much as possible seems we all are so deluded talking about nonduality and truth.

You just still high dude, enormous gratitude for your life is typical after trips But mind that when drug is gone or when life hits you again, you will look for god again What u had with trip is high high staff, and ya don't have to go so far or to the rock bottom truth, but do go for some kind of enlightenment coz why not? truth might be only for the most curious ppl, but being one with god is beautiful and it is for everyone, so u cannot avoid this path if you wanna be more conscious human
