@BeyondForm since u already had ego-death, are you still identified with body/mind? -

Mind that more than half of the world lives in either hunger and poverty or in oppression by traditions and governments In such conditions you don't really have access to youtube to listen to Leo talks about enlightenment But wealthy and 'liberal' world is moving towards inner peace, hence enlightenment, with huge speed coz outer things often couldn't provide that For those who are threatened by it, its not problem with society but with its paradigm if masses are educated to understand such things like paradigms, beliefs, non-duality, ego from early age then ppl would pursue truth coz everyone wanna have good life -
God or nothingness is there because its just there, how can it not be there? It exist and doesn't exist. It can be otherwise. And otherwise is infinite chain which boils down to that it cannot be otherwise, and cannot not to be otherwise. If you ask HOW, then you can come up with tones of explanations. Its like how rain occurs? Well you can come up with exact process, but it also has many aspects at play, and that can go ad infinitum if you wish. But if you ask WHY. The answer: its just is. And also its just isn't. lal But if you want to know about why there's this very moment. Then think why universe is the way it is. Because its the most sustainable or stable way in which it can exist. Think why earth is round and circling around sun, and sun's going around milky way galaxy. Why gravity is there as it appears to be. Coz its the most sustainable and stable way to exist. Think why universe will collapse from heat one day, because thats how things work, its the most sustainable way. And another word for stable and sustainable is good. Good in a way that allows everything to be. You might say God created world for his joy. Not good and joy in a sense that absolute infinity has special feelings like humans, but joy and good in some way which is beyond our imagination. And in the same time its within our imagination because that joy and goodness is manifested and seen in our feelings that drive us and in literally anything you see around. Why kid plays? For his joy. Why kid cries? He experiences something which doesn't allow him to have joy. Why do we survive? it feels good to survive. Why do we die? For creation to continue it needs to be changed and recreated, otherwise its unsustainable. Why we suffer? We experience something that makes us afraid and doesn't allow us to have joy, Why fear exists? So we can survive and have joy afterwards. If there's no fear, no animal would survive hence evolution would end. Why we go to work? For joy or because we think it can bring us joy. Why we fall in love? Its joy. Why lion hunts antelope? Survival feels good. Why someone's survival goes together with someone's being dead from that? Thats from our human perspective, but from absolute perspective its just how creation can be continued in the most sustainable way. Why people kill people? To survive. Or they think it can bring them joy in the end Why commit suicide? Coz there's no joy, and suicide can save you from no joy. Why hitler was the way he was? He thought its good for him, his ppl and his ideas. Why attain moksha? To escape life, don't have experience anymore so no more non-joyful things. Or because liberation from existence is more joy even compared to joyful existence. Why some ppl seek truth? Because its good for them. Why some do not seek? Because its good for them. Why ppl lie? Coz they think it will do good or they need to survive. Why live? Coz it feels good. Why don't live? Coz its better compared to life which can be non-joyful sometimes. Why we do evil to others or to ourselves? Why we cant stop doing bad even when we know its bad for us? Because our instincts or motivations or thinking that are designed to survive and they assume that its good. Or you can say its god that doing all shit to us, then god thinks its good thing to do. Why we label something as evil? because we think its good for our life to do so. Why say absolute consciosness has no reason to be? It feels truer for some hence better. Why say absolute consciousness has some good reason to be? It feels truer for some hence better. So we can say that consciosness is just is. We can also say that its just good. We can also say its all bad, and god is asshole. And why do we say that? It feels good for us to say it. It can also feel bad, and want to feel bad sometimes because its just how our survival machine works to survive. We can also say there's no meaning or good, its just silence, and we say it because it feels truer and better. Man you can't abstain from being. Language of god is silence, everything else is translation. Doesn't matter what you say or do, you always driven by infinity which has its only aim - TO BE and NOT TO BE simultaneously.

its outrageous. this shit is outrageous -
Well science can be more truth-oriented if we are talking about the most holistic possible understanding of reality. In terms of your life, the truest holism is to reach absolute truth like Buddha. But in terms of thinking and understanding reality, true holism is to inclusion of everything and thats also possible to very big extents, not to 100% extent but to very big. Opinions aren't problem. Problem is to identify with them. Why do we defend our ideas about consciousness and nonduality so much? this absolute, thats relative, this true, thats false, this real, thats dream, this nondual, thats not nondual, bla bla bla many attachment to terminology I think doing that is pretty much green or orange thinking, we hold our precious ideas as a truth. Rather why don't we just hold them as important, instead of holding them as true? They can't be non-important anyways, thats our values, but why do we so quick to think that if its important for me then its absolutely right? You might think that intellect is important or spirituality is important, and then you think that its true for everyone and thats how life is and should be. But no, its just valuable for you, which is very good thing, but thats not the whole story of how life is or how life should be. Life can be with or without that. Because simply some people consider these things as important and need them in life and some don't. So its both! Moreover, some things are not people at all. If you disidentify with your opinions you might see that now you can create holistic approach and be true system-thinker. True system thinking is all-encompassment. Include everything, every variable including limitations of your mind, perception and your personal tastes, values and inclinations that will affect end result of created systemic thought. So if you want to have systemic and holistic conceptual understanding of life/reality, you must include not only your non-dual staff, but everything from science, philosophy, psychology, economy, politics, history, maths to art, esoteric, cosmology, fairytales, religion, mythology, conspiracies, astrology and occults. From what bums on the street might think about life to what your family might think about life. From including your own biases and personal preferences to biases and preferences of people who conducted your books, articles, i.e. your research base. From holding the paradox that everything can be known and nothing can be known, that we don't know that we can know and that we don't know that we can't know. That we know that we don't know, and that we know that we know. That all exist, and also don't exist. That everything is one, but also that its not one but many, that its infinitely one and many interactions of one infinity. Coz most people don't perceive reality in that way, and that fact must be included too. That nothing is paradoxical, yet for our logic its all paradoxes. We must include our feelings, emotions and all of our subjective experience as variables too. You need to use both logic and intuition. Cold-hearted abstained approach implying you only care about what's most correct and also warm-hearted compassionate approach implying that you do it out of care and love to knowledge. That knowledge and facts are just mind at work which isn't true, and yet mind is the only possible mean of knowledge to understand anything at all. That everything is metaphors, and yet metaphors are only reality that we have hence they are real. That all is real and illusion in the same time. That all is meaningful and meaningless. That there's evolution and its purposes, and that there's none of that. That its a game or show, and that its important and divine. That world doesn't need change, yet it needs change a lot. That all of your experience is absolute and relative in the same time. And in the same time its not absolute, in the sense that you are not in the state of absolute. That all is one, yet there are many layers of one which are interconnected but also have their own partially separate world. So how to do that? I think that the only thing you really need is to exclude identification with your thinking and with end result. No identification assumes that you abstain from need to change something or to make impact or to survive or to be right as a person or to get somewhere. Instead aim to create holistic understanding which will be as right (relatively) as possible. Don't identify with your model. Mind that you can't be 100% right, but also that you don't need to be 100% right. The aim is not to be perfect, you can't be perfect, but also you are already perfect. You are just creating systemic thought. You don't really need to include things that are low interest to you, but then you need to keep in mind that your end result is not as complete without those things, and it would be different with that things. Also, keep in mind that you probably won't be able not to hold your opinions as precious to some extent, so also include that in your holistic model. Then exclusion of wrong things will be done by inclusion of them!!! LOL how funny is that, you include all your biases, and all cultural superstitions about life, and this inclusion will make you to see bigger picture. Those stories can be fitted into bigger picture to extent that bigger picture makes bigger sense now. Because those biases can HIDE something very much true. Stories about santa clause may hide something behind them, including that its actually true entity! if you came to conclusion that its not then you can search why those stories exist at all or where do they fit into bigger picture. because EVERYTHING FITS BIG PICTURE. Big picture includes places where you discover that all lies have aspects of them which are correct. Once that is taken into consideration, you can see how exactly it fits in. So maybe Santa is just metaphor of something, maybe he is real, maybe its all non-sense stories that exist because of some other factors, and maybe its all of the above! Now you can see how those stories are right and how are they wrong, and that its two sides of the same coin. Some of them can reflect one aspect, some another. After you have your conceptual systemic model of reality (which will be forever expanding, so don't settle for anything), now you can use it for a change of your life, for share, for impact and for a good. Now it can be much more useful for your life or for life of society. Now its more correct. Or you can just simply enjoy creating and discovering knowledge and expand it further. I don't mean you first need to learn a lot, you actually create your understanding every moment, so you can use that principle right now with what you already have. Whatever you know, just don't identify with it. And see how you can understand reality truer, or how you can really use your knowledge for better. Not only truth can be seen clearer but also life can be better. It also feels good not to identify with opinions, it gives you opportunity to feel value and meaningfulness in all that, to use your intellect in much wiser ways and to grow. You even can survive much better and live much better if you don't identify with your opinions. You didn't even started to expand your model but its already holistic understanding once you don't identify with it. Now the question, to what extent thats possible?

Me too sensitive, so what I do is: Accepting whats' happening in the moment and don't identify with your self-image, thoughts, emotions, feelings, opinions. You'll realize that sensitivity exists, but its not you who are sensitive, its just sensitivity. Eventually, sensitivity won't reproduce itself into vicious cycle where it produces negative consequences. Sensitivity will just be without trouble-making, that would be ideal. Emotions, thoughts, senses are expressions for your body to survive and simultaneously to have experience of life, these are two sides of the same coin. Ultimately they are not here for you to identify yourself with them, they are here to experience life. Don't identify with anything.

Two reasons why your sexual fantasies make you unhappy. 1. Semen is vital force. We lose unnecessary amounts of this sacral fluid. Don't flush your life into the toilet. 2. Dopamine imbalance. High exposure to sexual imagery increases craving and decreases satisfaction. Look at the modern society. Its one big porn. You are just constantly exposed to nudity and sexual imagery that makes your body to be unnecessary aroused, create unnecessary semen and in the end it hijacks your dopamine, leaving you wandering around thinking why you feel so anxious. -Internet -All kinds of mass media -Billboards and ads shining from every corner of the street. Number one tool of marketing is to show you imagery with sexual context. -Movies. Although nudity and sexual context can be necessary to express art or entertain, in most contemporary movies its used not in a beautiful, meaningful or necessary ways, and not even in really entertaining ways, but needlessly, just for its own sake, to attract viewers. Its not much of an art or fun but of a porn. -Half-naked or dressed in overly seductive ways women. This is huge. On the one hand, woman tries to send signals in such way or wants to feel attractive, and thats perfectly fine, I'm not judging that. But on the other, most of the time its a big distraction. Most of time, you walk on the street, look and thats it, unnecessary increase in dopamine, unnecessary creation and loss of sacral fluid. And then you repeat that cycle many times during the day, during years, decades. Ending up chronically frustrated. No wonder why religions like Islam propagates body cover and ban on nudity in imagery. It has its significance. But even that can be considered as some sort of enslavement. In the internet era, it doesn't solve much of psychological outcomes. Sex revolution produced its unavoidable traps too. I guess liberty should go hand to hand with mental detachment from all goodies that liberty grants you. As all goodies are only goodies for free mind and end up as baddies for unfree. Osho sums it up perfectly

@Mighty Mouse i think self-awareness is when thought recognises itself and misinterprets itself for true self
-
@Hermes Trismegistus suffering like pain and all the negative emotions and thinking are designed for us to survive but because we are self-aware we cling to that things long-term and that creates suffering that destroys us your dog doesn't suffer, dog can feel pain, hunger, sadness but wouldn't turn it into suffering

@Shin abstaining from visualising sex makes you to see it as act of love only
-
@deci belle yes subtle such as art, paintings etc wherever you might be able to appreciate that without needing to possess object of appreciation, it is need to possess that creates fantasies that kind of tantric or taoist techniques are rather advanced, if you are homme you know that you better don't think about it at all rather than try to get pleasure without spilling drops femmes are also not protected against dissatisfaction from dopamine-opiate disbalance @Shin are you love already as osho promised?

great author of how to survive lectures if only JP is introduced to nonduality and enlightenment and actually inject that into his paradigm... he'll become amazing author of how to live lectures

If life is so good as many of you say then why do you want to attain enlightenment and escape rebirth instead of experiencing life again? and why do buddhist monks and yogis want it if they are so filled with joy?

rephrasing buddha 1. First and foremost everyone needs to feel good (on a stable basis) 2. To feel good one must not suffer 3. Suffering (on a stable basis) arises from identification with self-image (body/mind) which has inherently unstable nature (because its not our natural state of being) 4. Disidentification with self-image is the only stable way to eliminate suffering 5. Therefore, realisation of non-dual state (which is also our natural state of being) where one no longer identifies with self-image is the most important thing anyone can apply in life Do you agree that this must be a universal law and taught and applied in schools?

1. It does feel good once your ego stop resisting and you disidentify with it, the process itself has suffering that’s true 2. Can, suffering is there to outgrow it and reach happy end. That’s the point, there’s no point in suffering for whole life but there is in overcoming it and learning ur lessons 3. Animals and kids are in nondual state, so it is natural, also they rarely suffer 4. It’s the only stable way as far as I see, everything else is finite and hence unstable, only being is always there, learning how to be more being is hence only stable thing -
