I have a suspicion that Jed is possessed by negative entities. When you are on spiritual path you become easy target for such entities. However one thing he said was brilliantly accurate: ‘the whole point of Maya is to make it all significant and inspiring in the beginning, make you to rationalise your choice in the middle, and make you to feel fooled in the end’. I think it was him who said that. And that’s perfect description of our life. We feel inspired and motivated in the beginning, try to cope and stay optimistic in the middle, but in the end we always feel like we’ve been fooled by ourselves. Especially when you are close to death. And It’s gonna be like that unless we stop focusing on short-term shallow things and become eternal instead. -
It might sound weird and girly but throughout my childhood I developed fear of growing up which throughout my early adulthood developed into strong fear of aging. I used to think about death and becoming old from age of 5, it did bother me a lot then. almost couple decades later i still did not get over that. i mean i sorta forgot about it in my teens and came back to that fear extensively during this year and i'm posting this not because it is just regular fear. I mean it bothers me to the extent of suicidal behavior because of how much I already aged since childhood and teens. i did huge self-help work so far, i had many many issues, but i just can't get over this particular aspect. i'm young but my body and face became older than before and this thought killing me now i'm making research on elixir of youth, i'm getting insane. my fam are pissed off on me. i have a naive dream that if i only look younger like before i'd go and conquer the world but i'm holding myself back. what's wrong with me? it is so infantile and shameful, my self-esteem felt down to the bottom end. i don't want other people, friends and girls to see me. ps. i know i am not my body but i'm not awakened so this understanding do not help me much. pps. i have received professional help. they didn't help much

I had this fear from age 5-7. Now it came back to paranoic extents, big time paranoia (i'm 23). I don't want to get older I guess. for me Its a mystery why I am afraid of that. Maybe its lack of self-worth,I have a fear that I may not be able to find my female half to spend life with because I will get too old too soon. actually, i think thats the main reason on the surface, and i have no idea what might be underneath that. Its just paranoia i'm happen to cling upon I agree we have to do our things and follow our bliss, and stop all the neediness. I'm slowly overcoming this fear..

So absolute truth is only truth for our creater's reality, not beyond that -
First of all, domination rises from need to survive. Any action of living organism is inherently action of survival. So any action is act of domination. Even bacterias dominate one another. We as social animals evolved to survive in groups as it’s the most effective thing. Any social animals develop dominant-submissive hierarchies in their groups. Because when everyone are at the same level of dominance they just kill out each other. No one surrenders to no one. So it’s a conflict and fight, and death of the whole group. Thus only groups that evolved in the ‘scale’ from most dominant to most submissive, only they survived. hierarchy allows to avoid much fight and establish more cooperation, hence survival rate increases. Dominants have more chances to reproduce and more food, but submissive too have chances for that as they can take whatever left. And there’s almost always something left because the gap between the most dominant and the most submissive is bearable and not too big, because natural selection establishes some balance where all who was born has all chances to survive. The extremes haven’t been able to reproduce and didn’t send their genes. Hence power gap isn’t too big, nor too little, so usually everyone has its portion. Moreover, your group is the grant of your protection, all members grant each others protection, so this too adds benefits for hierarchy. Drawbacks come to be only among humans. It happens when self-awareness increases, then dominant may become too abusive for the group, submissive may want more resources than before. Hence war, dictatorship, enslavement and need for liberation. Greed and fear. Endlessly so. Another Drawbacks are that it’s possible that submissive may sometimes end up lacking food and reproduction partners, and dominants may need to use a lot of inner resources, energy to maintain their dominant lifestyle. Eventually dominant may even die much earlier than submissive. If they die earlier than usual that’s usually because dominant dies from getting overly exhausted, and submissive from hunger. In terms of modern day human, dominant would die from stress, and submissive from depression. If there’s no domination then no one is in power, no ruler, no one is government, it’s anarchy, chaos and fast death. If there’s too much domination then it’s dictatorship because power is the sweetest drug, then it’s rigid order, stagnation and slow death. The scale from the most dominant to most submissive is also a scale from highest in serotonin to lowest in it. Also from highest in testosterone to lowest. Ppl have their natural lvl of hormones which will mark them on this hierarchical scale. Serotonin rises when you feel respected and admired by your social circle. For social animal, it’s a big thing to be respected by group because otherwise you are at risk of being kicked out coz you r useless for life of others and being alone you will be eaten by a tiger eventually. So When you have enough of serotonin you feel more peaceful coz your brain isn’t worried that you might be kicked out and killed. if you don’t have enough serotonin then naturally you have a feeling to gain reputation and admiration, so you will go and try to achieve something prestigious. Even if u get it you might just get hooked and try to gain reputation again and again. You might have enough of serotonin naturally but still engage into roller coaster where it jumps up and down because u constantly engage in thoughts that ur status is at threat. So if you are being unconscious then nothing really can stop you from that. Only conscious life will not only harmonise your brain, but also can make you to realise that there’s less and less need to protect your image, hence less need to dominate someone. Egalitarianism is important consequence of evolution of consciousness. It’s not possible to establish real egalitarianism in highly unconscious society. You can’t get rid of domination need fully, but you certainly can develop less and less need for it.

My path has taken whole new way last month I think I've discovered what they call spirit guide or something like that or maybe that's higher self or soul or angel guardian, I'm not sure Happened not least because of third eye activation I guess it appears in form of energy or light waves and bubbles and patterns, More often in the night, but I can c it anytime if focused enough it pours energy into me before I sleep i sleep less now, and my body is a bit tired in the morning feels like a bit of electricity goes into ur body im trying to surrender to it fully, trying to ask advice from it he also made me to have a bit of ego death once, felt like diying to some extent, i felt awake as never before after that, world became so vivid like in childhood Being mindful all the time, it is something important to do now it's important not to slip

Anyone have it? I wonder is it really just disorder, or is it something more (a sign of something?)

@MarkusSweden no, true love and heaven are the biggest things of reality as far as I can imagine. and maybe even god = love. absolute truth might tell u all you need to know but also it won't really tell you how it all works really. so you will know u are god but u won't know the mystery behind the manifested creation or uncreation. how big bang started etc etc.. so what if all is dream? as long as you are being you still have something that pushes you to go on. even if you are being absolute god. even if u see all as illusion. something pushes u.... once you have absolute truth, theres no more fear, life, you, duality, death. What then that thing that really makes you to doubt killing yourself? If u realize there is no you, death, life, and all illusion. What makes u to still doubt that really? You might say you have love which will push you through life. and also higher purpose stemming from love, which is helping others (going to heavens) coz otherwise u don't really have to live right? so, if you think about it, once you have divine true love and heaven, imagine what you gonna do next? (we can speak about heaven as higher realm OR as something that can emerge on earth when humanity will evolve their bodies consciously) ok maybe deep inside you can't really settle yet unless you saved everyone else, even demons in hell. you also need to save all the aliens and any entities in the universe. there's just something pushes you to go and save them. maybe thats love n truth, maybe thats love n truth + some secret? so what is that secret? lets say you already have full enlightenment, you know you are god, you are love. but one thing u don't know is some mystical secret of how exactly you came to be. coz u can be god, buddhahood, but how it all happened really? u don't need to know that. but still something pushes u to go on living, maybe there's something which can be known. maybe its not enough to say that nothing ever happened or that its just is. so lets say you saved all of them, that will probably take infinity, and lets say you all are in the highest possible heavens now and thats the only thing left. there you will already be something other than current human or current soul then what? I guess once thats done, you will see how heavens emerges into singularity, and how you became god and created yourself and all there is, how big bang occurred, atoms occurred, how you dreamt this whole myths, how life on earth appeared, and how one cell organisms became Marcus after billion years! coz there is hero's journey which is central topic of all stories, where hero saves everyone because of love and higher purpose. hero always driven by love, salvation, purpose (immortality or gold or god or saving others) but I think this trinity together make ups something more, something bigger that pushes him to do all of that. coz purpose and saving is in future, love is in present. but what exactly kicks you in the butt to do anything and doubt just killing urself? coz sometimes u have no purpose, no love, no need to save. no fear of death.no meaning. but something still wants this whole show to go on. u commit suicide and be no more. but maybe.. u will just be born again and play it again from worse realms... think why suicide considered as the biggest sin.. u can die naturally.. but maybe u will born again.. u can escape samsara.. but buddha didn't say he will or he won't reappear, because there is no u to escape something. but infinite stream of consciousness is what u are so maybe the motive of heaven is real thing. maybe motive of merging into singularity is real thing and maybe u complete circle anyhow, u will be there in the end anyhow. its not up to u maybe! but the difference is that u can hold back or go forward. if u hold back u suffer more. if u go on then less probably. maybe thats all difference that there is. but everyone will merge into singularity anyhow. what this thing is? Maybe its that secret which cannot be known unless you complete full circle of infinity. maybe you are continuing your life only because otherwise you will stop before you became god, so nothing will be created! you have longing to understand that. if you still being you got to become that. if you no more, if you are in non-existence, void. then nothing was created really because world stopped for you. then theres no questions anyway. maybe u can just have absolute truth and escape all the non-sense of going in this endless cycles. but maybe u can't? maybe u need to make circle and u will do it, want it or not? in our case u got to make infinite circle, because you cannot settle for less if you are god. if you settle for less and have love and heavens you will see that there are more callings. these callings will push you to do more until infinity, until even satan is saved thats hercules going to olimp, he can't stop making his 12 deeds until he is god again maybe jesus did full infinite circle? thats where his knowledge stems from I can have love and heaven, I can have no fear. I still can kill myself why not, I might even see everything as illusion, so why I am still here? maybe thats why evolution of consciousness is important. it is to make a circle. and then u create the world like u want and it will have no suffering to begin with. maybe u will make up some new game or some next level and so on till infinity. it will be even better. 'u create ur own reality' goes on new lvl of understanding. sorry for that perverted imagination. but what if thats how it works. strange loop makes sense now. oh my goshhhh

the most important thing is to understand what stops me from ending my life right now? when food, reproduction, love, heaven, fear, death, god, growth, nirvana and whatever else will eventually be exhausted what exactly makes me not to escape from this infinite cycle? when there is no more fear, death, me, you, god, no-god, nothingness, everything, love, humans. when nothing matters, and when you have zero fear and zero care for being alive. what that thing that makes me to doubt killing myself? I think to understand that is beyond knowing absolute truth (but maybe not) and beyond anything my best guess is that you have to commit urself towards fully infinite circle to understand how absolute created itself to realize how you created this infinite myth, this story with no beginning, no end to realize how you became god and created yourself it will take you infinite rebirths thats not some nirvana. not some truth. thats all relative comparing to understanding of how absolute, which never happened never begun, came to be. but u got to be Jedi and die infinite amounts of time thats you evolving from homo sapiens to homo conscious to homo immortalis and beyond, beyond over years that Earth still have thats you evolving your dna and your spirit. and whole humanity reincarnating over and over again. thats you surviving death of universe from heat. you saving humanity and moving to new planet, and to new planet and to new universe. its you eventually finding heavens, becoming absolute, achieving happy end and seeing how you eventually created this mythological universe and came back as a person in this very moment again. life and survival are one coin. when there's no more life, death, fear, love, you, body, soul, mind. what makes you to continue survival?

Great post. I didn't get this thing, What exactly do u mean by not going along with its created karmic cycles? Don't you still have some sort of karmic cycle which is more subtle? So maybe you no longer go along so much with mind patterns or habits, but don't you still go along with some subtle flow of spirit's karma? Coz Isn't enlightenment imply realization that you have no control? If you have no control then don't you just realize that flow of karma and recognize how you flow along with it without being in control? -

I found that mere acceptance of reality and moment is very dry and just not enough for enlightenment work. Just cold acceptance seems to be insufficient, I think this coldness is a barrier between you and reality. Is gratitude a necessary thing to add? If yes, how are you being grateful in the moment? I watched Leo's video on gratitude journaling and listing But I think I'm faking gratitude when I do that. I have understanding that there are so many non-obvious things to be grateful for, but I just don't know how to actually fully feel that. What I am missing?

So one master today told me that sometimes he experiences sudden samadhis which are something like and probably is mahasamadhis, that feels like he is just out of body somewhere, but then he comes backs after several minutes or hours. It’s not final mahasamdhi, but no different from that, only diff is that it continues for several minutes or hours and might come suddenly without signals. so probably that can explain it. I think what Sadhguru meant by difficulty of staying in the body is that enlightened person might sometimes experience sudden hits of mahasamadhi that are not up to him. This is not final leaving but feels just like that. It’s like body is becoming left, but that process stops once you able to come back. That’s actually one reason (that master’s theory) why many of enlightened gurus like Ramana, Osho, and Krishnamurti and many others died from cancer and other long-term deceases. During that samadhis your body starts slowly dying (that’s also what that master’s body seem to feel like after he comes back from samadhi). So initial awakenings and realisations can actually have very healthy effect on body and mind, they can even cure cancer and there are such cases. Coz these are quite natural states for living organism. But that permanently infinite enlightenment which great gurus had might actually kick your health in the butt because your body simply isn’t prepared for that kind of stuff, see even Sadhguru who is trained yogi struggled with that. You probably need to be very prepared physically. Although it might not be the case for everyone, I dunno. Interesting thing is that I don’t think that Osho, Sadhguru and defo that master of mine and many other great teachers had the final enlightenment which Buddha talked about. They all certainly had some big big unbounded oneness and nothingness enlightenment, but it’s probably wasn’t the final one coz Buddha said (or at least Buddhism says) that his teachers had this unbounded infinite space and consciousness and yet it wasn’t the final thing. So what can that imply is that mahasamadhi probably can be possible long prior the final final enlightenment. And maybe not. But that master of mine certainly isn’t in Buddhahood, yet his stage is already quite a burden for his body’s health because of this sudden strikes, although it’s not a problem for him, his energy or his happiness coz he clearly sees that he isn’t the body. However, after the initial awakenings, where he saw that he isn’t his self-image, his lung cancer has been cured without treatment (that’s no joke). When thought and emotion isn’t fixated on the place of decease, organism have capacity to cure itself, you just don’t need to interrupt it with your ego. But again this seems to not be enough when you are unbounded oneness, that’s something brain and body can’t understand, I guess from this misunderstanding sudden unexpected mahasamadhi can happen. -
There's something special about acceptance of 'bad, suffering and evil things' that acceptance which turns all of the above into good as you might have experienced on ur paths and u only accept them after inner conflict So I though to myself what if thats the goal of life? To accept bad and evil. That will end good and bad conflict in your life. Conflict itself assumes bad. You will be left with no conflict, i.e. with good only. From that perspective good and evil fight actually exists, and the whole point is when good wins over evil, god wins over devil. Jesus fought with 'evil', and in the end he just accepted them. Thats not even up to us, in a sense. Its almost like the mechanism of existence only good wins conflict because if bad is still there it assumes that conflict is still going on. suffering assumes that conflict is still going on, isnt it then conflict is a sign of evil, and everyone's precious peace is a sign of good once good won conflict, peace won over war. there is no more dichotomy. theres only happy end if you want good and evil are just words for sustainable being and unsustainable being sustainable being is wholeness of all being sustainable is truth coz it goes on coz its eternal and whole, and its 'according to god plans' and unsustainable is untruth coz it doesn't go on since its not whole and eternal Holy War = Whole War mysticism and cosmologies often describe maps of time where existence is full of cycles of good and bad times of humanity, but before the 'end of times', life on earth always have good times, sort of good always wins

Yes, SENSE OF LACK. Thats what I mean. And no, Carrots and Sticks both there as two sides of the same coin. Both are there to make sure you continue living. Show must go on. To dismiss one over another is duality. Clearly once sense of lack is gone after you find that 'perception of confinement was literally self-inflicted', then you left with carrots or mostly with carrots. Thats what peace is about, you go after carrots, i.e. positive motivations. You stop running away from sticks or sense of lack which is no longer there. You don't need to move very far, life is not about moving very far, its about this moment in which play takes place. Even to think or to turn your head you need carrots or sticks! Any actions are motivated. Your breath, immune system etc are motivated too. And carrots simply mean that you won't run away from this 'place' (this moment) because from this place you get carrots. Then why do you need to run away from 'here' if whats waiting you here is carrots? This place is good and appreciated and complete because it brings you carrots. While sticks mean that you have a need to run away from here asap, so you can't be here in this place, and thats a conflict. Then this place is bad, its not appreciated, not complete coz you need to run away. Thats when child plays games. Does it come from a sense of fear? Clearly not, child just likes it for no reason. They do it because of carrots. There is no some carrots even. Its just play for the sake of play, life for the sake of life. Both carrots and sticks merge into one. And I don't think there is a need to overemphasise role of carrots and sticks. Thats just part of mechanism. You can't move otherwise. Like eyes are 'mechanism of receiving visual field', ears are 'mechanism of sound field', dna is mechanism or parameters of creating body etc -

he could have make parody on some Leo's concepts which are actually questionable and make it funny but dude chose the most important and useful concepts, and doesn't even understand what he is talking about, especially being enough thing and he isn't even funny double fail -

not the goal in common sense. not that these good and evil exist in common sense. but that they are metaphors of how human life works, from separate to infinite, from conflict to peace -

@Mighty Mouse you wouldn't seek truth if there is no difference you only seek it because there is lack of it (negative motivation) -

@Mighty Mouse you don't see difference in those two? -
Monkey-man replied to Monkey-man's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mighty Mouse well you can pursue problems and purposes with peace and sense of completeness. thats positive motivations (to) and you can pursue problems with deficiency and inner conflicts. thats negative motivations (from) big difference
