@BjarkeT happy and ability to work hard is what you will gain on the path, but that cannot be end goal. end goal is always beyond your own life, thats what will make your life happy and hardworking
-
@NoSelfSelf forget that, look inside @BjarkeT forget about happiness, life isn't about mere happiness or working hard
-
@BjarkeT forget science and research, look inside

I used to be big meat eater, but now I feel disgust if I think about eating meat. How can we explain that? Vibrational frequencies? But if seriously? -
u don't need high iq, but ego likes it. don't get caught up into that u already smart. u have the strongest computer known in the whole universe, its there in your skull, what else do u need : ) in the end of the day, intellect is just a tool for survival, no biggie. if u can learn how to control it, it will be even stronger. u know your local Joe Schmoe can be more profound, wise and insightful about life than 99% of the biggest intellectuals and greatest geniuses of this world

Enlightenment can be attained quite fast. But path never ends, there's always more coz it goes beyond enlightenment. When you slaughter all of your demons, you will have to deal with demons of the whole world. Thats why there is such thing as boddhisatvas, they can't help but deal with suffering of the whole world, its not up to them, thats how things work, its a force of evolution. -

everyone has subconscious longing to comeback to childhood everyone has subconscious longing to go to heaven everyone has subconscious longing to arrive to utopian future everyone has subconscious longing for golden ages of the past -

Reality is magic, once you learn how to manipulate reality then of course it’s all possible. Irony is that you have to believe that you can do it if you wanna use it. -

@egoless doesn't matter in true nature or not, but there's still something going on in front of your eyes. -

So if some dude online says that there's nobody in control,it's perfectly out of control, it must be truth? It's just one perspective out of many. and it's just one nirvana interpretation out of many. -
Monkey-man replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@egoless again you cling to uncreated extreme. But we can't cling to created or uncreated. We can't know such things. and precisely problem of humanity is that they create short term meanings and suffer from its unstable nature, instead of seeking eternal answers for eternal questions, coz that's where greater joy and greater truth. The only thing we know is that you are being here right now, and all the other people in the world being somewhere. And the only thing that's common for everyone is survival and being. Now why is that, why continue this short-term dream awaken or not? if it's a dream why continue it? Or what makes you to continue it? Whats the thing that makes others to continue it? Mind that it's not totally up to us whether we continue or not. To be or not to be, that's the main question everyone has to ask, even if you are in buddhahood. And that's not a philosophical question man!!! don't use your philosophy or brain for that. It's a question which is beyond mind. -
Monkey-man replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@egoless it's neither serious nor it's unserious. I'm not saying you need to be serious, but be open that there's more and have a sense of wonder. We can't claim importance or unimportance, to be or not to be, purposefulness or purposelessness, meaningfulness and meaninglessness. Every day you gonna try to resolve this debate! You will switch from one to another and so just let yourself to do that instead of clinging to one extreme, truth lies in balance. Yes explore reality, and exploring reality isn't mere fun and happy hedonism, it's more than that. Exploration and finding balance between survival and being can make you more satisfied than pleasure-seeking. In fact, this dream isn't created for fun only, this dream is built on survival first of all, try to see why. Its beyond short-term enjoyment, go and see why life has so many patterns which repeat themselves over and over again. Too strange for purposeless dream to have such a great order. That's when exploration can be really interesting. Not from mere consumption. Just keep in mind that maybe your dream life depends on whether you can uncover mystery. Don't listen to all the escapist advaitans, Buddhists who seek nirvana drug, that's pleasure-seeking which will fail you. Don't seek pleasures, instead find equanimity and balance, that's what everyone wants, that's the biggest pleasure. Dont cling to your current understanding. Why do you think you're asking about purpose? What's that thing inside of you that's asking? Don't cling to non-duality. It's just a theory that helps to explain reality and enlightenment, and it has limits. Although it's very useful but it can lead to absurdity and mislead people. And it doesnt explain much, it's more about directing. Any ideology can be helpful in the beginning and harmful in the end. And Enlightenment too isn't goal in itself! It might wake you up, might make you happy, might make you to see truth, but it all goes beyond that. Don't abuse idea of dream, use it wisely and you will find that there are more interesting things to do. Sorry for preaching mode, don't believe me, please see for yourself, it might worth it. -

What was the purpose of Hercules falling from Olymp, sacrificing himself, making 12 deeds and returning to Olymp? What’s the meaning of Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey, a common plot structure across all stories and myths? Is it really all about creating exciting life for yourself that will end anyways? Then what’s the purpose of evolution and why it’s so damn smart??? Why your life is the way it is and not otherwise? Why you have certain aspirations, inclinations and talents that are given to you from birth? Why there are certain fears that are unique to you and not to all people? And finally, ask yourself, why little kids love to hear stories before they go to sleep?? Contemplate on all of that untill you can no longer think, untill your reality collapses 100 times, 1000 times in a row. Until you no longer know anything. -

@Shanmugam Ya that's already big things but still I think there's something more coz it doesn't seem to be sufficient reasons to be chased so much, maybe he was member of illuminati or groups like that or something in this realm -
Monkey-man replied to Joseph Maynor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Is there any particular reason why Osho was chased by all the secret services of the world? I mean none of any other enlightened masters had so much troubles with power groups. Even Jesus only had problems with his local government. While Osho had problems with the whole world. Why? Don't tell me it's just because he had some orgy or poisoned someone or had plans to poison president or he is so crazy and bald and said radical things. That's just not convincing enough reason to be problem for secret services. There should be something about his teachings or his ideological inclinations that is different than from other teachers and that were either too good, dangerous and true or too evil, dangerous and misleading. -

I think what's not important is all the petty problems of the dream and short-term life. However, life itself and awakened life is important, awakened humanity is important, spiritual growth is important. Because it will lead to life full of virtues and greatness of this dream. Thats what Abrahamic spirituality tells us with kingdom of god which will come and eternal life. These are important and there for a reason, while this short life is your test, quest, game. Test is important too because it will define what will happen with earth later, and what people will inherit. Everything is for a reason, it's god telling stories to himself, and stories might be unreal but they still have meaning, thats the whole point of storytelling. Humanity has to awaken, conscious evolution is taking place, homo sapiens slowly transforms into homo immortalis, evolution has a purpose and it will merge heavens and earth into new world where people will see miracle of the dream instead of living in the dream without knowing it. And then your dreams will come true.
