The problem with weed is that it appears to be a harmless habit so you get conditioned to want to smoke in a variety of situations (feeling sad, happy, hungry, horny, sleepy, awake, bored etc). Its way harder to do this with LSD especially considering that its a 10h trip(so you can't do it anytime), it builds up tolerance quickly, it's hard to build a strong habit of it. The worse i did with LSD was once a week (not even strong dosages, mostly 1/4 of a tab) and as for weed i did several times a day, every day. Although i see how you can become lightly addicted to LSD, in my experience, it doesn't even compare with weed addiction. -

When you fail to love unconditionally the one that failed is the next in line to be loved and accepted, as Matt Kahn says. Don't beat yourself for not being able to love as you think you should, just try to accept the one that failed and try again, one step at a time. The answer isn't to say fuck you ego, but to integrate all parts of it, even the one who can't love or the one that thinks he MUST love. -

As an ex weed addict, i completely agree. Cannabis has its uses, it gave me a LOT of deep insights, including the one that made me drop it but one has to be careful to not overuse it or use it as an escape. -

Exactly what i think and do. I came to a point that i had to admit that i probably don't know shit about what's true or not. I found myself believing things that before i would scream "non-sense!". life gave my humility to be open-minded to anything, now i take everything that comes to me with an "hmm lets try this, who knows" attitude and it is going great for me, learning and growing a lot more, talking and judging a lot less. Ram Dass said something along the lines: All methods are traps and you have to let yourself be trapped in order to work. The only hope is for them to self-destruct in order to go beyond them. He often talked about "professional meditators" and if you ask them what are they, they will define themselves as meditators. If you ask them whether they prefer to be a meditator or be free, they will prefer to be a meditator. In essence, don't be attached, use your inner guru to decide what method you need in the moment and be aware to let go of it at any time. For a long time i felt that formal meditations (like vipassana or kriya yoga) weren't doing any good for me in the sense that i was feeling like shit, totally out of touch with "reality" but i thought that i NEEDED to have a formal meditation practice although it was doing me more harm than good, until i learned that there was a LOT of paths and they all work, i just had to listen to my intuition. Now i focus on karma yoga and bhakti yoga, is more like a moment by moment meditation, just being aware, trying to be loving, accepting and listen to the divine inteligence. -

@pluto I am working for it. Recently i learned about fasting and raw living foods and how their higher vibration makes us more sensitive to higher frequencies. As my third eye opens, i am becoming more receptive higher messages, usually disguised as intuition, thoughts, feelings, synchronicities etc. Unfortunately, my body and my nervous system represent a bottleneck in this process, i can only go as fast as their ability to integrate a higher vibration (which causes a lot of emotional purging). But i am ok with it, everything is happening as it should be. -

Awesome, mantra meditations need to get more attention, there is hardly any report about it. -

Maybe because of distractions of the modern world, you can literally spend a lifetime distracting yourself with useless things. Some monk in a monastery has no alternative besides looking inside and investigate the Self. The most valuable asset in today's world is our attention, all companies fight for it all the time, no wonder most people have some kind of ADD. Drugs make you confront all parts of yourself, make you look inside much easier (as you have no choice) since they are shoving it on your face. Also, they alter reality radically so you start to question it and its all downhill from there. -

Have you tried EFT? I heard that is effective in removing all sorts of blocks, pains, anxieties, fears, etc, also works with chakras. -

Look, i feel you, i am going through the same stuff, including a recent break up (i was yesterday), you don't have to go "full-Buddha", listen to your intuition, take a break if things are getting too intense, you don't have to sprint your way to enlightenment, you literally have an eternity to do it (but i am not suggesting that you let go of your pursue, i am just saying that you don't have an obligation to do it as fast as you can. After my kundalini awakening began, my life turned upside down, i am a completely different person, all my illusions are showing up(from the "shadow") and losing their appeal on me on a daily basis. I read a lot about this kundalini process (including the book on Leo's list which i highly recommend) and as far as i know, you can't stop this process, if it has begun, you are going to have a wild ride as the kundalini energy will work rapidly on all your energy centers (chakras) and show you all your blind spots, weakness, things that you haven't dealt with yet, there is no place to hide, you are on an elevator to heaven my friend. This will not be a pleasant process but you don't have to make it harder then it needs to be, take your time. Your intuition is your best friend for now on, learn to listen to the messages that the Universe/Existence/God are trying to send to you. The most important tip i have for you is DON'T RESIST IT, EMBRACE CHANGE, you will be surprised on how easier it will be if you go with the flow. As the situation with your GF, you should have noticed already that you will be continuously vetting people out of your life that is not conducive to your highest spiritual development, you will drop people like hit potatoes, especially if they aren't in the same path as you. This is a special lonely path (not without a reason, you have to learn to be alone), most people don't give a fuck about spirituality, not to mention enlightenment. BUT, as i said, if you feel (intuition) that you have unfinished business with your GF, by all means, go for it, even if it is for you to later realize that you two aren't really compatible anymore. I myself broke up with my GF several times and the time i most suffered was when i didn't listen to my intuition and fought the divine flow saying to me to get back to her while my proud said that i had to be single and when i finally give up, we got back together only to later realize that i learned everything that i had to learn with that relationship and our business (soul contract) had ended. Its like a drug addiction, if you simply fight with it, you will most likely lose 9 out of 10 times, but if you remain aware and conscious, observing yourself and your mental processes, the addiction will inevitable loose it effect on you and you will suddenly find out that you are simply not interested in this particular drug that you were once addicted. Another crucial tip: learn to love and accept yourself unconditionally, don't be hard on yourself, if most people were on your place, they would freak out, get depressed, use drugs (including pharmaceutical drugs), place themselves on a victim standpoint while you are taking it like a fucking BOSS. OH, one more thing: you don't HAVE to practice celibacy if you aren't prepared for it, don't make it harder that it needs to be, i also thought i had to retain my semen (vital force) to advance in my spiritual path, i practiced NoFap for 6 months until i read about it in the book i recommend you to read on Leos List that in a crisis, sometimes is better to masturbate and calm those energies a little in order to function like a normal human been. Now i Fap whenever i feel (yes, to porn, shaaaameful dirty porn lol)that i need to discharge some energy and it calms me down a lot. I also naturally lost interest in sex, i simply didn't see the point of it anymore, while a few months ago i had was having sex whenever i had a chance. Follow your intuition. -

Someone here has experience with "real" hatha yoga? By "real" I mean the yoga practiced by serious spiritual seekers/yogis/etc. I tried kriya yoga but it only makes my kundalini awakening symptoms (irritability, anxiety, feeling disconnected, spacey, anger etc) worse, as most spiritual practices does (including basic breath meditation). As I am gaining more body awareness, I am noticing all my tensions and aches (energy blocks) and hatha yoga seems a nice way to deal with it. I tried some popular yoga routines on YouTube, saw some benefits but I know I can dig a lot deeper with some real hatha yoga but I don't know much about it. I would love some tips of books, YouTube channels, courses or whatever. Thanks! -

Thanks, I will keep this in mind! I would love to do one of his programs, unfortunately I live in Brazil and need some online program. I found this guy that initially teaches hatha yoga in this course, looks like he knows what he is doing: -

What is your suggestion? -
Recursoinominado replied to pluto's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Wrong. The purification process (physical, spiritual and emotional) require some level of discomfort, you are bound to feel all sorts of symptoms. Of course, if it is TOO MUCH, take a break, but a certain level of pain is part of the process. I recommend you read some of the work of Arnold Ehret. -

For most people, yes, you HAVE to take care of your body and detoxify it from years of wrong eating and ingestion of toxins. You the body has blocks, God can't flow. -
Recursoinominado replied to pluto's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Viking Except that cancer didn't make toxins, mucus, parasites and old fecal matter came out of you and give you a health and well-being that you never experienced before. All of this must be added with a raw food diet (fruits are the most detoxifying foods). There is a massive amount of information on fasting and detoxification (look it up for water fast, juice fast, dry fast, fruit fast). A lot of serious health practitioners use this knowledge to heal people (actually, the body heals itself, you are just giving the body the opportunity) of all kinds of diseases (even cancer). If you research a little, you are going to see a lot of testimonials. I am just beginning in this path and already saw lots of benefits (i am calmer, with more energy, more mental clarity, my back pain that its ruining a lot of my days for 5 years is just almost GONE). I recommend Arnold Ehret books for a start if you want to change your life. -
Recursoinominado replied to pluto's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Viking Due to so many toxins in our modern world and along with wrong diet (we are frugivores), our body goes to a state of detoxification, moving the stored toxins in the body to be removed and this can cause lots of symptoms like dizziness, headaches, pains, irritability, etc, not to mention the emotional detoxification that occurs when you clean the body and stop consuming the food that you mostly use to suppress your feelings. Yes, you can feel weak in the midst of this process followed by periods of great well-being and energy (that become more and more frequent when you advance in this path). People with years in this process often report feeling lots of energy and vitality as they never felt before as they come to experience true health in a body clear of blockages (physical and energetic). -

Great talk, I didn't know him and I researched a lot about Breatharianism. Know I am transitioning to raw foods (it's hard because of the detoxification symptoms, so sometimes I have to eat something cooked to cope with), I am consuming mostly green juices and some fruits (mostly smoothies), planning to do a lot of fasting to clean the body and I am feeling that Breatharianism can be a reality for me in the next years. Clean the body and be a clear channel for God. -

Listen to your intuition, if this idea is growing on your mind, could be a sign for you to use it(from your guardians, if you believe in this). The only time i didn't get much growth from a trip were the times i didn't felt drawn to it but used anyway as an escape (just to get high) or as an obligation (i MUST use it to grow). One time i was in a dark place (dark night of the soul) and the idea of using mushroom was growing in me, i was procrastinating a bit always with an excuse (today isn't good, maybe after this thing etc), one day i had a little time and said fuck it, i am using it. Took 4-5g and oh man, i got my ass kicked, lots of crying but also lots of insights, the trip was difficult (some would call it a bad trip) but i just went with the flow, asked the universe to show me what i needed to see and i saw it. In the end was a great decision, got so much out of it. The psychedelics open your channels to see stuff that you need to see and often is refusing. If you aren't experienced like me, try a lower dose and trust the divine intelligence. -

He speaks the try but i sense anxiety and anger from him, maybe i lower psychosis. -
@Leo Gura I find it accurate. It's a hard trip to not judge anyone and see it as perfect no matter how shitty some types of behaviors looks like. I feel trapped in a loop of: - This behavior is reprehensible - Shit, i just made a judgment, i suck. - Oh shit, i must not judge myself either. *Trapped in a spiral of guilt and shame* I find that it's often harder to have empathy toward myself than to others. Maybe it's because we often see others behaviors only partially and we can see every single egotistical thought of ours (even the darker and more secret ones) and all of our mistakes. One must have to feel, experience unconditional love and actually see the perfection of all, otherwise, you are going to try to imitate a saint behaviour from the standpoint of the ego, always serving its interests, no matter how "holy" your behavior looks like on the outside and even to yourself (the subconscious drive to self-preservation always wins until you SEE the oneness of all). Idon't know how to escape this trap without having such experience. Intellectualize is not enough.

It might be a kundalini awakening and if it is the case, almost any form of meditation (or energy manipulation) its going to make the symptoms worse. Look up for the book about kundalini in Leo's book list. Also: -
