Jesus Christ, this forum is full of anti-vax conspiracionist... I once had a vision of creating a high-consciousness state yellow/turquoise community and this dream is shattered now, seeing how dense most people are missunderstanding basic scientific and statistic logic. The human mind is just too much of a maze, most humans are stuck for life. Sorry buddy, but the dumb one here is you. -

That's the same video, buddy, are you serious? She didn't say they didn't tested, she said they wasn't sure it would "stop imunization" (whatever that means). That would be discovered soon after it entered the market, which does not mean the vaccine wasn't safe and tested and served it purposed in preventing serious cases, hospitalizations and deaths. Turns out that vaccines do decrease transmition (later it was proven) along side with all other benefits. It is a social responsible choice even if it didn't decreased transmition but only avoided hospitalization. Less hospitalization = more hospital beds available to treat serious cases = less deaths -

Not to people see it "quickly", but misunderstand it quickly. You need, AT LEAST the FULL question and answer without edit. That's to say the LEAST. Its a complicated matter, trying to dumb it down in a 30s clip is to keep important parts out and misjudge it. -

Nothing was really affect, except now the institutions have more than enough clearance to go after every single one of them, including the military and high rank politics like ex-president Bolsonaro. -

How many victims and those killed under capitalism? -

It is only that, a tantrum. They were upset because their fascist leader lost the electon, went to the capital, broke everything, accomplished nothing, screaming and shouting for a military intervention. Hundreds of arrests later, they still cry and portray themselves as victims. This is as child-like behavior as it can be. -

Well, all i see is a tantrum. -

Vipassana has a set of instructions that goes beyond just being present or mindful. But it is basically super detailed body scanning. W hen your concentration is sharp enough, you start to scan whole body parts while maintaining equanimity. I suggest you do a 10-day retreat to get the gist of it. -
To party longer.

That's where you fucked up. NEVER smoke that much if aren't absolutely sure about the strenght of what you are consuming. There are a lot of strands and some a pretty strong. Someone who is addicted and smokes everyday might need those strong ones to feel something but if you are a noob, you will be in trouble. Pro tip: when in doubt, take one average puff and pass on the joint, observe the effects, avaluate the strength and maybe one more if you are ok and so on. Test the waters, NEVER go along with the group, don't ever be embarassed of saying "no, i am good". The fact that you handled the bad trip without your friends knowing about is a good sign, most people would be freaking out. But let this be a warn to be wiser next time and have RESPECT for the substance.

Nothing would be possible without the government doing the heavy-lifting. If it wasn't the case, everyone, everywhere would be inventing some amazing things but this isn't the case. It is needed very specific situations in order to inventions to bloom. Including: education, security and survival being taken care of in general. If you are homeless and hungry, you won't invent shit. You will be worried about your next meal, as 70% of humans today. Wrong. -

Explain what you call socialism vs capitalism. As i said before, nowhere in Marxs works you will find that a communism country can have an open (but regulated) market. -

No one volunteers to be a wage-slave in the US, you just is because that's how Capitalism works. First of all, there is no such thing as "free market", everywhere you have regulations and burocracy as it should be. Second of all, in most inovations, the government does 99% of the work funding infraestruture, research etc. The "market" only surfs that wave and takes the credit. The government, even in Capitalist states does the heavy lifting. Knowing that, in a Communist state, the goverment will invest HEAVILY in advancing it's technology, inovating, trying new stuff. China is a really inovative country. If you look it up outside anti-china propaganda, you will be amazed. In fact, every communism experience is truly inovative because you have to CREATE something completely new, there is no "how-to". If the US learned something from China, the US would be the first second-tier country in the world in 50 years. -

I am not familiar with this subject but i can say that China social engeering is very impressive, they are aware of the risks and will revert the decision as soon as they think it will benefit the country. Careful demonizing and underestimating China, you will look like a fool. Of course China has many serious issues, which country doesn't? 70 years ago China was the poorest (capitalist) country in the world with 1 Billion people, millions dying of hunger and life expectance of 35 years. The main question when deciding if a country is Capitalist or Communist (in this case, socialist) is: Who really rules there? In Capitalist states like the US is the rich and powerful, they have the political influence to decide everything and that's why you guys don't have free healthcare and a good set of workers laws. In Communist states (in fact, Socialist) like China, Cuba and the USSR is the WORKERS CLASS. Basically the super-rich cease to be super-rich and the workers take power and decides collectively everything. BUT there is no recipe for this, in each place this will be different. You ABSOLUTELY CAN have a "free market" to a point, you can have business owners, you can have "capitalistic goods", international trade, people do earn different salaries but if you get too rich (like a billionaire), the governement will be in your ass 24h. This old propaganda of communism being like an outdated low-tech poor country is just that: propaganda. That's why China is Socialist and you think it is Capitalist. -

Do you know that hundred of millions fail to meet this "small standard"? Here in Brazil is at least 28 million (2021 data). Every street in each major city you will see half a dozen homeless people begging (chindren included) for food. Get out of your first world bubble, buddy. Good for China, nowhere in Marx works he stated that in order to be a communist state, you have to isolate yourself. That's a major flaw in what you guys (including Leo) call Communism, isn't actually communism, is just what you IMAGINE it to be. Also, usually is the west that isolates the communist country (like the US did with Cuba) and communist governments have to be extra careful due to constant attacks from outside and inside. Stalin suffered 22 assassination attempts and Fidel Castro 638. Compare that with any other modern state and you will understand if you have any amount of wisdom in you. Also: Where would the west be without China? There is no charity here. "The west" isn't helping poor Chine, it is a mutual benefit. The only reason China is China is because the West needs it, it is because of China's power and big market. You think you are free in the US? How many aren't wage slaves? Maybe 1%? How much is the cost for the population to the US mantain itself as the most powerful country today? (not for long) The problem is you guys don't use the same metric when you criticize communism experiences vs capitalism. Most critics directed to communism can be applied to capitalism. -

I just told you China was the poorest country in the world 70 years ago, before the Revolution. 70 years. China was basically in the feudal age. Communism advanced China more in 70 then most countries in 700. China is way more technological then Brazil, for instance. Another fact to you that i said before in this thread: When the USSR was founded, most part of the territory was also in the feudal age. 50 years later, it was competing with the largest economy potency in the world. The USSR basically WON the space run in all aspects except putting a man on the moon first. Also the military was as powerful if not more powerful than the US. Also in 1935, the Moscow subway system was opened. In Brazil, we had one of those only 40 years later. -

That's an oversimplification. China has technology, massive investiment in education and, like i said, plans decades ahead. They are already doing a transition as the article i posted above clearly stated (if you care to read and not just repeat the ignorant mainstream narrative about China). That's just dumb. Communism is exactly what makes China so successful. In a capitalist state, the CAPITAL is king. The bourguesie has the true power and will favor it's own short-term profit even if it means the breakdown of the whole country. In a communist state, the PEOPLE is king. Every decision is made envisioning what is best for the whole country, not just a few. This is a long-term winning strategy. Again, i will repeat for the third time on this thread: China was the POOREST country of the world in 1949. The life expectance of the chinese was 35 years and today it is 77 years. 1 billion population. If you don't grasp the significance of this, you are being stubborn or really dumb.
