  1. Hey in my personal experience I have learned that the best way for me to stop an addiction such as TV or Facebook was to completely shut them down, I looked on the beneficial side of it that gave me the willpower to quit them because I knew it was the best thing I could do for my self, after I got busy in other things. For example: When I was feeling like I'd like to watch TV or Facebook I was meditating even more. Gym and a strong social circles also helped me distract from them. At the beginning is pretty hard because you're hooked like an addiction but after a while it becomes pretty easy. Don't get me wrong I still watch TV and use Facebook but on very rare occasions, plus when I stay too much on them I remind myself to stop, that happens without even applying conscious thought, when you build a habit the reminder comes automatically. Hope I helped you in some way. Peace ✌

  4. I usually go to sleep listening to a guided meditation or some cool self development argument talk, what are you're routines of going to sleep? Mindfull of the present moment and the body sensations? Listening to your thoughts? Tripping in fantasy land till you fall asleep?

  8. Yes, on my early journey I had one only, I felt a vibration in my forehead and started realising that nature and me were in perfect unity, pretty funny but even the table was in perfect unity with my being, like being one with the universe, I realised that all my thoughts were imagination and all the negativity and traumas were slowly flowing out of my system and I was very aware, reality took a whole new perspective, it was like seeing a different reality just more real.. Pretty intense stuff, I didn't even knew the existence of enlightenment or of the no self, infact I understood that everything I had until that moment were thoughts but I didn't knew they came from nothing, didn't question myself enough for that half an hour that the effect lasted, I don't know what triggered it exactly but it has been the coolest thing ever, now I felt back asleep but even having a small taste of enlightenment was delicios ?
  9. Name: Alex BaigusAge: 24Gender: MaleLocation: Bologna ItalyOccupation: Meccanic Kids: No Hobbies: personal development, fitness, love to socialize, meditation, music, love to travel learn and build social circles. My homeland is Romania and I've been living in Italy for about 8 years when I decided to come live with my mother. I got into self development after an existencial crisis about 3 years ago. After a heart brake and living with a dysfunctional family with a victim mother and her husband who is a narcisist with drugs and alcohol problems that used to procure me mental terror and physical abuse. Back then there was a girl that has been my savior, e very big friend of mine that helped me along my journey, she is a personal development pro without even knowing it she was born with it, the only thing she did at that time was being there for me. One night I had a nervous breakdown and the next day I found by pure luck a guided meditation to release anxiety, I never even knew the existence of meditation, when I listened to it I finally managed to let go at least for a while and after I started searching for meditations that ultimately led me to actualized on YouTube, I instantly became addicted and then my journey started, I knew I had found my call. I started taking responsibility and of course I became a rebel at home and got kicked out, with one euro in my pocket, a luggage and a strong new ego I went out into the world and been kicking ass ever since. Now I live by myself, have lots of friends, made peace with my parents and a decent paid job. Everyday I practice personal development because I know I still have a long road to make. Ps with the euro i bought a toothbrush that i kept as a memory At the moment I am looking forward in learning how to obtain financial freedom so I can supercharge my personal development without loosing time and energy at work every day. Peace to all of you :*
