ok, thank you, so, if I don't consider the voice in my head to be mine, it is not mine anymore , right? like if I hear a sound and I know is just an external sound... then I get rid of it, because I don't bother what the voice says... i'm not affected by it, as I am not affected by tweets of birds. isn't this the solution to your question? -

Hi Martin stuff about Crowley? just google "Thelema crowley"... will appear tons of info -

yep, In short, he paraphrases (with tons of emotional colors) the formula of the Beast 666 (aka crowley) (originally posted by St. Augustine's): "Love, and do what thou wilt" Instead of love, Matt uses words as consciousness, etc. etc... but the point is the same. -

Hi @Consept precisely, what do you mean with the word ego? -
@Shakazulu ehi, if you need some funny hints try these: 1) indulge in fantasies as long as you can, until you realize the foolishness of that desire. 2) imagine you have already satisfied all your body-needs and accomplished all you mental-goals. Stay in this state. The mind is still and calm. Contemplate this pleasure. Nothing to do, all done. Convince yourself is actually like this. 3) swing between the ultimate sorrow and the ultimate pleasure. At these extremeties feelings (positive/negative) coincide with the supreme sensation. This supreme feeling seems nothing, but it is everything. So, pleasure = sorrow... no need to distinguish them. Just arbitrary preference of the mind. - if you want to go deeper: 4) go back in time, before you were born. Where is your mind, your body, your personal story? 5) go forward, after your death. Where is your mind, your body, you story?

Truth always rests in peace (... i.e. in silence) -
in my dictionary, passionate mind = a condition in which your mind is affected and overwhelmed by passions (desieres, emotions, feelings, sentimenatal-memories, etc.). In this state there is a lack of lucidity and the body-mind is highly susceptible and impressionable by anything.

@Visitor yep, I agree One must first detect what is true, and not what he (or the ego/mind) believes true. If your body is sick but you believe you are ok, then you are not ok... even if you think so. Of course you are not the body, and you true self is always ok. As you said, the paradox is that you are inherently ok, even when the external seems not okay (i.e. your body feels ko...). And viceversa: the situation or your behaviour is okay, even if internally/psychologically you think is not correct. In other words everything is always alright, in the right place at the right moment. The worried mind (ego/society) thinks up a sense of disorder, therefore plans an artificial order. When the worried-mind calms down, it could see the natural order.

Karma : AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA - 4) instead of getting out of the illusions, stop go in there 5) Life is a kamasutra: it f*** you in every position -

if your mind believes something true, your body acts as "if" it is true... so, if you believe you're ok, your body reacts in order to your mind-set and therefore you will feel ok. Placebo or pigamlione effect. tons of experiments done... try on yourself. but is true also the opposite. If you act as you are not ok, but you force yourself believing you are ok... then you will feel not ok. Feelings over thoughts.. Instead of thinking ok, just feel the okayness

hi everybody, my first post... hope uselful Who is this Self-Actualized person, and what characteristics does s/he have? Maslow offers some characteristics of self-actualized people... do you agree with this list? ... have others characteristics to add? . Situation-centered (not self-centered); . They perceive reality efficiently ( more sensory-promptness, sharper orienteering in the environment) . They can tolerate uncertainty; . Accept themselves and others for what they are; . Spontaneous in emotions, thoughts and actions; they "see" what it is, not with prior "model/rules" [what it must be instead of what it is] . Healthiest/Unusual sense of humor; . Able to look at life objectively; . Capable of deep appreciation of basic life-experience, of all nature; don't need to look for something new all the time . Resistant to enculturation, but not purposely unconventional; . Peak experiences; . Experiencing life like a child, with full absorption and concentration . Trying new things instead of sticking to safe paths; . Avoiding pretense ('game playing') and being honest . Being prepared to be unpopular if your views do not coincide with those of the majority; . Able to identify your defenses and having the courage to give them up. etc...
