  1. Hey guys, so I've been thinking how some progressives I've heard from including Cenk and Ana from TYT and Forestluv from the Forum, who have said that Republicans are better than Democrats at framing and narrative control and that's why Republicans more often than not beat the Dems. I don't totally understand this though. What do you guys think and if true then why?
  2. So, would you say that even The Young Turks are as dogmatic as Kyle and Krystal are with their progressive beliefs?
  3. I know, this is getting really crazy, but I keep worrying about the constant new allegations made and supposed new "evidence" of voter fraud emerging such as this one, which was mentioned yesterday: https://www.oann.com/witnesses-in-ga-say-democrats-altered-military-ballots/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=witnesses-in-ga-say-democrats-altered-military-ballots what really stands out to me in that article were statements such as: "On Wednesday, several witnesses came forward during a hearing. They presented both photo and video evidence of rampant fraud. Republican poll watchers also claim they got locked out of the counting stations when it came time to look over military ballots, which typically lean red." “'I estimated that somewhere between 80 and 90 percent were going to Joe Biden,” a poll watcher stated. “Throughout the day it kept making me sicker and sicker every time I saw another Biden… and then I’m going through batches, 100% of the batches were Biden. I find that statistically impossible.'” "Fun Fraud Fact of the Day: "All 900 military ballots in Fulton County [Georgia] were 100% for Joe Biden." In what alternate universe does this happen? In 2016, Trump won the military vote 60% to 34%." "Despite mountains of evidence of wrongdoing, Georgia state officials still refuse to take action." Rudy Guiliani's tweet "In a country with a free press, you would know: 1. The Georgia Senate Judiciary Committee issued a report demonstrating the vote was stolen from @realDonaldTrump. 2. The vote was unanimous and BIPARTISAN to audit Fulton County’s Absentee ballots. 3. And to de-certify Biden." Also, several millions of Trump voters are still not backing down from the idea that the Dems cheated the election and are constantly demanding audits everywhere within every single election office and place involved with counting and tabulating every single vote within the states of Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. They are also pressuring the republican controlled state legislatures within each of those to overturn the results of the election. What if those state legislatures do finally cave in to the pressure and actually decide to overturn the election by appoint and certifying a rival slate of electors for the US Congress to count on January? What if the legislature judiciary committee in each of states by some serious bad luck actually end up finally receiving some pieces of evidence that apparently end up being considered sufficient enough to overturning the election? This whole shit really keeps me up at night!
  4. Ok, so then why do Justice Democrats keeping saying "Corporate Dems don't know how to fight back against the republicans!", They negotiate too much with Republicans!", " They unilaterally surrender to them!", "Most Democrats are weak and don't have the balls to call it out and be more aggressive like most Republicans are!" "Corporate Democrats are feckless, which is why they usually lose to Republicans in elections and suck at getting new bills pass through Congress or through state legislatures!"?
  5. So, according to the source and what you're saying, the republicans get a lot more SuperPAC money not just for their party, but also for Against Dems.
  6. lol. I am confused. I definitely get the idea that republicans constantly use gerrymandering, voter suppression and strategically winning geographic pluralities through these avenues. I also agree that it isn't right that votes are not counted equally and seats in congress/senate are not allotted equally. Though why has Forestluv said that "Dems absolutely suck at framing and narrative control" and why have other progressives like Cenk and Ana from TYT said statements "Democrats HATE their base! Republicans excite their base!", "Democratic leadership and the media just doesn't get it because they don't know how to think like a regular person! They're all such elitists!", "Republicans are better than the Dems at framing and getting there message across to public" I thought that Dems usually end up getting a lot more campaign money than Republicans do.
  7. Okay, I am aware that this post may come off as hyper judgmental; however I've come to realize after much deliberation over all of the knowledge, wisdom, and experience that I have gained on US politics, society, government throughout my entire life time including having already read so many discussion posts within the Society, Environment, Government, and Politics section of the forum, I realize that it all comes down to the fault of ALL of the US right wing ideologies that have pervaded throughout the entire USA and have sadly been ingrained within almost half of the people within the country for well over a century long. They have regularly create economic inequality, racial inequality, voter suppression, gerrymandering, no social/societal progression, shaming of other people's religions, shaming of people's sexuality, crazy gun rights, problems with libertarianism which Leo talked about in his vid about it, etc.. At the extreme, they have to alt-right conspiracy theories, white supremacism, white nationalism and other ideologies or organizations that feature aspects of ultranationalist, chauvinist, xenophobic, theocratic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or reactionary views oppression, political violence, forced assimilation, ethnic cleansing and even genocide, etc., etc. All in all they have been ANACHRONISTIC, BACKWARDS, TOXIC, DESTRUCTIVE, and INHUMANE philosophies. Let's also get real about this folks, there have been way more idiotic, incompetent, and sinister republican and right-wing conservative politicians than idiotic, incompetent, and sinister left-wing liberals and democratic politicians. All of these core beliefs have ruined an astronomical number of lives within our country for over a century, This is why republicanism and the alt-right movements should never be tolerated! They have been the roots of all political and economy within the US! Now, noticed that I said right wing ideologies are VIRTUALLY and not ABSOLUTELY. This is because I believe that there are only two American right-wing conservatives that have merit to them. They are capitalism, freedom of speech, and strong controls on immigration. I absolutely do believe that capitalism is totally necessary to perpetually promote prosperity, innovation, and career freedom within a country. Freedom of speech is something that I of course very much believe in that as well. Yet, the use of this wonderful privilege within our country has sadly gotten way out of hand within our country for at least a century long, especially with all of these poisonous conspiracy theories out there throughout all of the internet and all forms of media, outspoken racism and sexism, verbal abuse towards anyone from the LBGTQ+ community, and said hatred and mockery of anyone who is not a Christian. As for strong controls on immigration, I totally agree with that. In fact, I hate to admit this, but the one thing that Trump did right as president, was making the government really crack down on hard on illegal immigrants and the deporting of millions of illegal immigrants that lived in the US. Why I absolutely believe in total racial and gender equality and genuinely welcome multicultural and complete ethnic diversity within our country, the illegal immigration situations that have gone on within the US have really become serious growing problems for our country.
  8. So, you think that even western societies are becoming increasingly more for populist ideologies?
  9. Oh god! I am am so sorry for your loss Yuliya. I cannot begin to imagine what you're going through or how you are processing all of this. My heart truly goes out to you. This has been arguably the worst year for millions of people around the world like yourself. If there is anything you need, then please let me know and I will try to help. Also, have you sought out intense therapy?
  10. When it first happened in my country, I was terrified by it and thought that this could possibly be the end the world. However, a few weeks afterwards, when I realized that the virus is definitely beatable for at least 95% of the people in the world, including those within my country, I thought that the virus would go away either during the end of spring or the summer of 2020. However, once the cases and deaths started getting increasingly worse as the months went by I felt increasingly frustrated by the restrictions imposed upon me and my parent whom I've been living with and who are elderly with pre-existing medical conditions. I also got momentarily depressed when I lost my part-time job at Macy's due to their massive corporate layoff as a tragic consequence of the virus having negatively impacted their business. I also, got so sexually/romantically frustrated for several months because I've had to constantly keep my distance physically from girlfriend (who now is telling me that she wants to end our relationship). Furthermore, I currently feel hopeless about my future career because of how bad the economy has gotten in the US.
  11. I understand your thoughts on it. Though did you watch and hear what Kevin Samuels said in the vid I posted? Also, I of course believe that if you are going to hire a sex worker, then either find a prostitute in a legal area or an escort perhaps.
  12. Guys, it's been a long time since I last wrote in this section of this Forum site. Currently, while my situation has been better with school and certain areas of my life, I have honestly become so worried and have also felt hopeless about my future. I've already been working with occupational therapists recently to help me gain my functional independence, which has helped me to some extent. However, I am still relying a lot on my parents help on initiating work and I am still getting a noticeable amount of support and involvement from my mom with my schoolwork, even at the age of 32 (I'll be 33 in a week and a half). Also, I've had a lot of mental health counseling from my psychiatrist, psychologists, and social workers for most of my life and I still don't think that they haven't been enough to help me become a psychologically normal and functioning individual. Also, I still perseverate constantly on things like the 2020 election which was supposed to be over a long time ago, despite the fact that Trump so easily compels people like myself that it's still not over. I am also really concerned about the Georgia senate runoffs because I fear that if the Dems don't get both Warnock and Ossoff to win on January 5th, 2021, then Biden will not be able to do anything or get anything done to ANY significant degree. It will be as if he will just be a useless guardian type of president who may very well end up having to take the blame of letting down SO MANY Americans throughout the whole country. If that happens then GOP could very likely regain full control of the entire government again by 2024. Also, Trump is even seriously considering launching his 2024 presidential campaign right after or on the day that both Biden and Harris get inaugurated into office (if he ultimately does not succeed in overturning the 2020 election results). God help us if this happens, because if it does then Trump will be back with a wrath and vengeance that we have never ever seen before in any political leader or tyrant since the beginning of US history. Not to mention that he would in such a scenario very likely have even a greater hold of over the 2024 then he did before. Both him and the republican Congress would end up destroying my country again! What a nightmare this would be! Additionally, watch this: I absolutely believe that I am one of these individuals they are talking about and I really think this seems like terrible news for me. The economy in our country is bad overall and even back before both the short-term and long-term health of the economy suffered tremendously because of the COVID pandemic, getting even a basic paying job was so hard for even someone like myself who is not only at a great university in grad school, but also graduated college from a top university. Also, without trying to toot my own horn, I am a very decent looking and physically fit person with an overall good personality and have substantially improve my speaking confidence and skills a lot since I first became an official member of my Toastmasters club several months ago. I also have made significant extracurricular accomplishments in my life. Yet, I still don't think that any of these positive things I have going for me will even be close to being enough even to get let alone maintain a profession or job of some kind that will pay me well. It's like no matter what field you want to go into these days, they all are getting to be incredibly difficult for ANYONE to get. It's crazy and beyond sad. Lastly, I've come to realize that if most of the top 1% of people out there in the world such as celebrities, richest people in the world, most successful in the world, etc. are not happy at all Leo like even mentioned a number of times before, then what chance is there for someone like me to ever have true happiness in my life? Sure, I could become a Yogi or a Monk for the rest of life, but I have no interest in becoming any of those kinds of people and I sincerely don't think I have it in my heart or what it would truly take to really live any of those kinds of lifestyles. So, yeah, I think I probably am fucked. Am I wrong?
  13. Since it's pretty much a given that Biden will be USA's next president with Harris being the next vice-president, how possible do you guys think it will be that he could very well end up being bad for the country in the long-run? I mean, don't get wrong, I am very happy that Biden/Harris won the president election and of course that they will definitely be better leaders for our country than Trump/Pence were. However, according to The Hill/Rising political commentators they think that it's very possible that the Biden administration could end up being disastrous for the country in the eventuality:
  14. Actually OP, check this vid out from Kevin Samuels: At around 34:30 in the video, he talks to an Incel who called in to ask for advice on what to do about his situation, and believe it or not, but Samuels actually said to him that the best advice for him is to hire a prostitute. Kevin said that Incels who are well above the age of 18 need to do it with a professional sex worker as soon as possible in order to gain sexual experience, stop over romanticizing sex, and help stop over thinking or over complicating sex in their heads. Now, I haven't had sex with a prostitute before, but looking back, I think that maybe I should've done that before like during my early 20s perhaps because I lost my virginity clearly late (I lost it when I was 27 turning 28 years old) and I really overthink ALOT of things, even when it comes to dating, sex, and romance.
  15. Yeah, the boots look like they have really long curved cocks.
  16. Okay, but what about Krystal Ball? She's supposed to be a very left wing liberal, pro Bernie Sanders.
  17. I just looked up that wiki article and it says that it leans only slightly right-wing conservative.
  18. Well she may come around. After all, girls more easily change in their emotions like the wind compared to men. Otherwise, he can try her again after about a month from now.
  19. As of December 14th, the electoral college met and ultimately awarded Biden all of the 306 electoral votes that he earned from the election, without any faithless electors. Also, earlier today, a number of GOP senators, including Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, finally acknowledged Biden as president-elect and Harris as vice president-elect. Therefore, the US Congress, including the GOP senate will not help out Trump overturn the results on January 6th, which is when Congress meets to discussion and ultimately ratify the results of the election permanently. This all became apparent after all of the local judges all the way up to SCOTUS, all of the state officials and state legislatures, in each of the battleground states that Trump contested, made it clear that they were unable to help him manipulate the results of the election for him due to lack of sufficient logically compelling arguments and lack of concrete evidence of their being massive/nationwide voter fraud. Now, I know this is going to sound really crazy, but it is possible that Trump could actually raise a private armed militia who would be to effectively intimidate the US Congress covertly, including the GOP senate, to overturn the results of the election in favor of Trump?
  20. Well, obviously it can't allow that. Though that of course wouldn't stop Trump from doing whatever it takes at all costs to successfully stay in power. Let's not forget that he got the Russians to illegally interfere in the 2016 election. Also, US History Professor Allan Lichtman said that there are two ways that Trump could possibly succeed in retaining his seat as the president: voter suppression and Russian interference. Also, well-known political commentator Van Jones said that someone like Trump might call upon a private armed militia to intimidate lawmakers to overturn the results for him. However, what if for instance, Trump was able to hire some like mercenaries (from Russia, Proud Boys, White Supremacists, Neo-Nazis, etc.) or a bunch of enraged MAGA protestors to trespass into the living residences of all of the US Congressmen for the purposes of covertly holding them and/or their families hostage until all or at least enough US Congressmen decide to overturn the election results for Trump without the public knowing anything about this at all? I know this sounds totally like something out of a hostage thriller movie, but could or would Trump, who seems to be capable of doing virtually anything illegal to get what he wants, really do something like this? I know this whole idea sounds totally insane, but I am really worried about this being a possibility.
  21. As a 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido, I also agree that at least some degree of martial arts should be taught within the mainstream academic institutions. That's actually why it's good that a lot of high schools in countries like the US and Canada have competitive wrestling teams, as wrestling of type is one of the most effective styles of martial arts or combat. However, to become truly proficient in any martial art it's not enough to learn each specific self-defense techniques, you need to have at least 1-2 years of consistent practice with not only sparring with training partners but also with repeated real-life simulation drills that force you to use of all of the techniques you learn within all kinds of highly unpredictable and threatening real life-like scenarios within any kind of fight. US Navy Seal, Jocko Willink, and the famous mixed martial arts color commentator, Joe Rogan both really tell it like it is for all kinds of martial arts in these vids below:
  22. Hey guys, so now we now know that there is 100% chance no way for Trump to be able to legally overturn the election by way of the courts. Also, we know that every state except for Wisconsin officially certified their presidential election results and had all of their legal disputes settled before the end of the "safe harbor" deadline (December 8th). That means that Biden has now undoubtedly at least 296 electoral votes that are both pledged to him and safe from being being legally contested by anyone within the entire US Congress on January 6th, which is when they totally ratify the entire presidential election results. However, could he actually still technically cajole or intimidate all of the GOP lawmakers, within each the battleground states Trump's been trying to contest, to pick a rival slate of electors who would award him with enough electoral votes he needs to officially win? Could this actually be Trump's very last shot of being able to legally steal the election?
  23. Hey guys, I am really starting to have second thoughts about the final result of the 2020 US presidential election. Some political experts like Harvard law professor Larry Lessig, political commentator Van Jones, and The Hill/Rising's Krystal Ball and Saagar Injeti have said that there is a small possibility that Trump and his campaign team could find a way to effectively persuade the state legislatures in each state (which are dominated by the Republican Party) to select another slate of electors who would vote in favor of Donald Trump. If this happens, then Trump will ultimately be successful in stealing the election. Needless to say, this would be a truly insane but possibly real scenario. What are anyone's thoughts on all of this?
  24. SCOTUS ultimately rejected the last lawsuit filed to them by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. This lawsuit was also supported by eighteen other states won by Trump in last month’s election, 126 GOP US House of Representatives, and of course Trump. The US Supreme Court doesn't even want the case be heard by them in their court room at all! Given that both this lawsuit as well as the previous one which was also destroyed by SCOTUS the same way as this latest lawsuit was, surely this should all mean that Trump has absolutely NO chance of ever being able to overturn the results this election by way of the courts. Am I right?
  25. Guys, I can't help, but feel like girls or women have always had dating much easier than guys do. They don't have to do nearly as many approaches to find a guy, let alone find and keep the kind of guy they want. They also can get laid anytime they want. Yes they can get pregnant, but guys also have to be worried about that too due to the child support laws, regardless of whether or not he is in a relationship with her to any degree. Furthermore, they generally have a higher social IQ than men do so they can learn much quicker than guys can regarding dating and relationships. Don't even get me started with hot girls because they know that they have to put in very little to no work in getting the best guys they want. Even the hottest girls, who are too intimidating to be approached by the vast majority of guys, can get easily connected to the highest status and/or coolest guys. Being good looking as a guy doesn't do much for your odds at being successful with dating, sex, and romance, even if you are extraordinarily handsome and well-built (like myself, not to brag) because the vast majority of women aren't nearly as visual as men are. If a guy wants to score the best quality and hottest women then he either has to be very lucky or naturally gifted at it or a well-known hero or work very hard at improving his social/seduction skills tremendously. Men with asperger's syndrome and/or major anxiety issues especially have to work incredibly hard to the bone and go through an incomprehensible amount of torture and suffering to improve his perceived status and/or his charisma to the point of transforming into a whole other person whose level of social skills are the complete opposite of what they were when he was an aspie (assuming that's even possible for such a social loser to achieve). Also, women don't get rejected nearly as much as men do. So, what do you ladies and gents say about all of this?
