  1. When I maintain continual breathe awareness then I can witness the body instead of participating in the task that is being conducted, for example: instead of driving I watch as the body is driving, instead of running and feeling like I take every step, the body is running on its own and awareness instead just goes into sensory perception or whatever emotions / thoughts that pop up. another way I access these states of being is through realization that all thoughts are in the present moment and that there is no past or future, since theyre constructs made from the present, this brings me immediate grounding and helps with getting into the witness state just bite the bullet and do an hour of strong determination sitting a day, youll feel real different real fast. and then focusing on the breathe all the time might help but im not certain about this one
  2. I either seem to fall right the fuck asleep or stay awake for a long while due to thoughts racing through the mind when sleeping after meditation. when delving into my subconsciousness in meditation sometimes it can be like striking oil where the emotions (oil) keep coming to surface ("my" awareness) even while im trying to sleep. could just be me though, just throwing that possibility out there.
  3. Intuition led me to rock climbing to serve as a kind of medium to learn about myself and reality. getting over being afraid of heights, having to change my diet, and exercising a lot have made meditation and focus much more powerful. I was wondering why im more sensitive to energy in my hands after climbing for a few years, when theyre put over a person or even any living being I can perceive energy from them in this strange "second sight" and can guess accurately whatever diseases or sicknesses they have withiut being told. is this due to rock climbing, meditation, or both? what ways do you guys think climbing can be used for consciousness development? thanks.
  4. I’ve always sucked at running but recently began waking up at 6:00 and jogging every day for 30 mins. as a beginner my advice might not be valid but whatever, here it is. • run on some hiking trails, 100x more challenging and fun for me. •run at night, maybe go with a headlamp on and do a trail at night in nature. theres a giant soccerfield by my house, at night its pitch black but huge enough to run in without seeing anything, feels like youre floating through space • sometimes when I run I will put music on and “channel” the music into my running and get a really crazy runners high. • run/ jog every day but make sure to keep changing shit up whenever you get even a little tired of it. get a friend to join you, sign up for a marathon, find a sick trail to challenge yourself on, run on the beach, as long as I dont stagnate I dont get bored, might not be the same for you though idk.
  5. Personally my breathing improves drastically when I take either an ice bath, or cold shower because your’e forced to breathe better or freeze. look up Wim Hoff method. also when I went vegan space began freeing up in me so you can give that a try. When I eat a lot of food at once my breathing gets shitty so eat about a fist full of food at a time, which is your stomache size. consciously breathing throughout the day and focusing on belly breathing and just using will power to breathe differently is my most effective method.
  6. Great meditation music for me, even though it gets pretty intense.
  7. it's not that consciousness transitions from life to life, but that when someone dies their consciousness ceases to exist. Way I see it is that since there is no such thing as an I, you are everyone, and everything, all at once, right now. Saying that consciousness jumps from you to another when you die is just another form of the ego except it's on a different level.
  8. I personally don't like having too many friends, i'd much rather have a small circle of real friends than a big circle of people i'm less connected with.
