  1. Where and how can I trip to India the cheapest. I wanna stay there at least 1 year in complete soltitude. Which is the most spiritual place? Any one who has done this or lives there please recommend. Also how much savings will I need. Assume the cheapest life. Just surviving.
  2. @Prabhaker you are very generous my friend. But I don’t want to bother anyone
  3. @Prabhaker thank you! I’ll look into it
  4. Rent prices? I’m gonna leave as far from cities as possible
  5. No I want to get away from all the known places
  6. Or anywhere in the world which will be the cheapest and good fit for full time soltitude...
  7. I don't believe in life purpose. You will do whatever you are willing to do. Even if it is living life at the fullest while traveling... Whatever you make purposeful for yourself that will be your life purpose...
  8. Mixing together two beliefs: (I am separate self) and ( I as a separate self don't have free will) can end up into nihilism or deep depression. Rupert brilliantly explains the issue with understanding free will. That is why I disagree to some of you yelling around there is no free will! It is dangerous to say that to one who still believes he is a separate self. To one who has not realized his true nature...
  9. @Shanmugam My attention is sinking back to its source sometimes
  10. In my experience highest form of meditation of releasing the attention from all the objects is the most effective “technique”. It’s actually efortless “efort” rather than technique. Become aware that you are aware. Your attention will naturally fall back to its source over time.
  11. @Nahm on the other side @Shanmugam is the example of person of whom I would see as truly Enlightened. This is just a word but his current being as he describes is totally what I would call Enlightened. So I’m just poorly trying to possibly “break” the misunderstanding caused by language barrier which might have risen in the past.
  12. @nick96 @nightrider1435 @Quanty @Prabhaker That is why I only practice do nothing meditation. During this practice with time I am finding the source of my being. It happens without me doing anything. now back to the question - how one should awaken kundalini purposefully? With special yogic techniques? Does that mean that yoga could be dangerous practice if not prepared for deliberate kundalini awakening? Are there same risks connected with my meditation practice? @Shanmugam maybe that is what sadhguru meant by possibilities of death during awakening?
  13. Otherwise it all would be so boring don’t you agree?
  14. @Shanmugam nahm has his own special way to communicate. He always uses subtle and friendly humor. If you haven’t spoken with him much it may appear as sarcasm but in reality nahm never does that, you just need to tune in his frequency . His humor is always intended to point you somewhere.
  15. Fair enough. Your arguments have value indeed. I never followed sadhguru for Enlightenment related teachings I only found some valuable insights in his general talk and wisdom. For nonduality teachings I only follow Rupert Spira and you know that. And your advice is always valuable.
  16. See the arguments you are providing really sound alarming from our perspectives. I agree that this is very strange and could be sign of some delusion. However total open mindedness would require us to always be open to possibility that we might not know something. That there are some deeper understandings which from out perspective seem like crazy. For example, imagine yourself before you knew about possibility of Enlightenment. Or me till I open myself to the possibility that reality might be the dream.
  17. @Shanmugam can you show the video where he says that?
  18. @Shanmugam I understand your arguments more clearly now. However does this necessarily prove that he is not Enlightened? Can you link any videos where sadhguru’s beliefs or delusions are especially apparent? Or can you link the video where he denies reading osho or that he never read scriptures? I haven’t seen very many sadhguru’s videos, however in ones I have seen he always provides useful amd wise insights.
  19. @Shanmugam I understand your concerns and also agree that if you see something not clear about sadhguru you should share with others to raise an awareness. However I think the most effective way to do this would be to post clear, precise and short summary of what is written in that quora article. What are your main points against sadhguru? I did not have much time to read in details but based on what I have read I identified that your main criticism comes to that : “The common opinion about Yoga is this: Enlightenment is all about raising kundalini from the bottom of your spine to your crown. But, this is not enlightenment! It only causes a spiritual experience, a temporary experience popularly known as ‘nirvikalpa samadhi’. Many yogis have reached this state and proclaim that they are enlightened, while still living in duality. They can mislead you in various ways.. But actually, Yoga is the only path which can trap you in every step.” And maybe on the fact that he might be just copying osho. Correct me if I am wrong. It would be great if you made short summary of your criticism so more people read it. That would raise awareness.
  20. People have different opinions and that is normal. However one thing is apparent - Sadhguru is incredibly wise man who's suggestions and guidance has proven to be helpful for lots of people on the seeker's path.
  21. @roe what you are describing seems like emotional response to your expectations. I would say try to avoid srrong expectations of becoming Enlightened. You described emotional state here which is not true satori experience. Who is aware of this emotional state? Go deeper. But first switch off your expectations and thoughts about what it could be like to be Enlightened!
  22. But from your perspective there is only subjective observation possible right? So any kind of science which includes objective observation should be yet another ilussion for you - it is only your subjective experience. I think that’s what he meant.
  23. Exactly that has happened to me as well. But I don’t think I am Enlightened at this point. The list you have mentioned somewhat resonates with me except - I still question. My experience sometimes overshadows my true nature. But my understanding as being consciousness without objective qualities is there.
