The amazing thing is the more you are aware the less your time is eaten up by worries and neg thoughts. You will feel you have almost 50% more time because you are wasting less of it. -

@faith Honestly for me the change was so drastic, it well blew my mind (pun semi intended). Procrastination you have is this thought that is originating from somewhere. When this happens you can analyze and dissolve it when you completely understand it (as you've partially done, but it has many layers). That is a very summarized idea, but that's the gist of it. For example me I had procrastination which came from a source of commitment phobia -> which came from a thought when I commit to something I won't be able to do other things. Which actually came from this idea I have to be able to do everything I want in some perfectionist delusion (world and we are not perfect that's ok). When I understood it, I could let it go. Often times you analysis will take you to places you wouldn't expect. And it's like a muscle you get better and better at it. That's why talking about your problems with your friends has a similar effect, you are deconstructing the source of it. However it's not always helpful if your friend leads you in the wrong direction. -

Very nice! You'd be surprised how far it can go, once you incorporate it into your daily life as @ajasatya says - you will becoming increasingly clear at an exponential rate. Very happy for you. -

There isn't much need for 'thoughts', your flow will guide you - like there are no 'decisions'.. at least not exactly - when they are in line with your flow there is no need for thoughts to deviate from it. In regards to your initial comment, do not too worry that - you have the order the other way around- first you must love yourself. The capacity is there, just be patient with yourself while you work through the layers holding you back. -

So true, classical music is something that is resonating very much with me now whereas before it did not. I can stare at the ocean and be in awe of the beauty. My dog has become a ball of energy I love so much, and he feels my new energy (or simply lack of blocks to sharing that energy). The world is amazing!! PS wanted to add - regarding sex... holy mother of.. yea will never be the same. -

@Leo GuraThank you, this answer has cleared something for me. I already feel I just am, and we all are part of the same thing. You can walk in the crowd of a festival and their energy passes through you too, we are all connected - the 'physical' is just a crude computer screen trying to process things that are too beyond it's capabilities. -
It is pretty effective, though I've stopped taking it after becoming awake. You get a very similar vividness as when you are awake, same with the focus. However it's a cheap version of it, and growing tolerance will gradually make it less effective and less effective - at least it did for me. You get very easily annoyed with people, feel like you can't accept inefficiency - which rarely anyone is all the time. Be careful what you combine it with, this has a heavy effect on your body I feel. Eventually you can feel the being awake as tinged with something.. not true. Suppose it's fine in moderate doses as with anything. I didn't like how it made me. I've never taken it while awake though curious what effect it would have as most experiences change. Wanted to add, do NOT take it when you have nothing to do. As for creativity it was not create, the energy is too jittery imo, does not allow for good creative flow states. There are all my personal experiences, I've always been very sensitive to supplements/medicines though so take it as you will.

Just wanted to pop in and say I really love this show. -

If anything it makes me want to reach out to people more than ever, the reason I joined this forum. Also the feeling of loneliness doesn't seem to surface anymore regardless of the situation. The flow driving me to find others with similar experiences, I'm drawn to connect. -

@Leo Gura I tried watching this video. I couldn't get past the impression : what does it matter what we call the universe, when we 'are' we just 'are' - - through being I just accept what is - 'physical' or whatever. Trying to put a name/define it seems to pull me into identification - I might not be ready for that lesson. Maybe need to find to source of this conflict in me to dissolve it and absorb the idea properly. -
@Max_V You took the words from my mouth. Boredom evaporates.

@Leo Gura I've reached a point where I can enter full awareness almost the whole day or most of it. I want to 'be' most of the day. But I wonder if my not fully aware self also needs/deserves more time on the surface. Can it become a problem if that becomes my real purpose, to always be in that state? I do have desires to learn, see live - but in the state, am I neglecting another part of me?

Be patient and don't put too much pressure on yourself, other than that your natural desire to know each other in person should carry you through the initial awkwardness if there is any. Veel geluk!

If anything I feel closer to people. I feel less like I want things from people but just want to know them. It is so much easier to let go of arguments or whatever; I have a lot more empathy for people. And sex is much better when you are fully aware and in the moment. I think people can see the openness in your eyes, just becomes easier to socialize in general.

I think I was super lucky, I had no idea what enlightenment was. Not having that urge or need to achieve it, I think that made it easier for it to happen. -

It blew my mind away when it first happened, it was exactly what I knew I was missing. It's the most incredible thing that's ever happened to me. It has given me now so many questions and yet given me one answer that always counts too - 'Just be'. -

So happy I found this site, some of these I came to naturally but I'm excited to try the ones I have not. -

@Leo GuraI know it can seem presumptuous but I feel like I reached some level of enlightenment. And I haven't been 'meditating' long, however.... I've always been super introspective-in a sense meditation. To a point I couldnt drawn the voices out, over time I evolved it into meditation. Never did 10-20 hours though.. however guess depends how you look at it. Now I do it everywhere I can. The change in me is so drastic, I feel the old me is someone else entirely... though still me. The energy i feel tingling in my head sometimes - at times it feels like a cold sweat, but soothing. -
Dogsbestfriend replied to Dogsbestfriend's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes I have to say that is almost natural now. I instinctively want to help people more, and I try to be better. It's amazing, how it's been there all along - with me, and you don't even know. -
Hello! New to this forum but I've been doing mediation on my own for a while. About two weeks about something shifted, and everything came into focus - doubts went away and I was instantly feeling great. Now I can somewhat do it regularly, but I realize I'm somewhat different now - I want to be outside more I want to see things. And things seem new to me again. I'm just trying to meet people who've gone through this, how do you use it? How has it changed your life?

I do believe they are both real. I think of it as ying and yang - the image really connects with me. I might think of it differently than it's meant to be interpreted. But when one is aware the other is there (somewhat asleep when you are 'Aware'). They should work together. One is better at different things than the other. -

Yes much easier, once you become fully aware the sensation is amazing, you want to achieve it again and it's much easier.
