  1. “The world that is considered to exist independent of perception and of which each of our perceptions is considered to be a single, partial view, has never been experienced. There is no evidence for its existence” I can see how the world independent of perception is never experienced, but it’s effects are, so isn’t that evidence of its existence? For example, if it rains when I am sleeping, I am not experiencing it, but when I wake up the grass is wet and there are puddles everyone. So rain happened even if I was not there to experience it. So my question is, aren’t the effects of something evidence that it happened? Thank-you for offering some clarity on this point.
  2. seems legit but all the comments here say that if you go to sleep the world disappears!!!
  3. the grass is wet ===> it rained !!! that's fucking obvious
  4. if the only reality is experienced by perception, then will the train hit me if i close my eyes and sit on the rails ? Please make some easy explanation to me cause I've been struggling so much to understand the "stuff behind the scenes" thing from leo's naive realism video ! I know that the mind can't grasp that and I need to experience that but please make the concept more easy to me !! you know sometimes we need concepts haha
  5. @Nahm so if i'm not aware of my house at work for example , then I don't have a house ?

  11. I watched the video of leo about naive realism several times and i have some questions about some points ! I can understand that there is no matter and we don't perceive like other animals and that our perceptions differ , but what leo means whe he said "when you go to work and turn your back, you think that your house is still there, but it's not" !!!!!! Whatever reality and my house is made of, how can it disappear when i go to work for example , so in this case i can keep the door open and no thiefs will enter because there is no house ! I know that i have to experience this myself but can someone simplify the idea for me ? thnx !
  12. @Joseph Maynor biocentrism !
  13. @Leo Gura 1)what do you think about the analogy that our mind decodes/translates the infinite field to see reality as maya like a monitor which displays piece of code as pixels and images ? 2) Why doesn't everybody sees reality as it is, why it has to live in maya ?
  14. @Leo Guraleo do you think that we are in a simulation/matrix/holographical world ?
