@pluto i dont understand, why not just say humanity has to raise its consciousness or else it will annihilate itself. frequency of what? what is that supposed to mean? are you putting your whole philosophy of life on a quote of nikola tesla he said once? why not just say it in normal words so everybody would understand? is your purpose sounding emotional and fancy or giving information to other people? besides, energy is maya, frequency is maya, nikola tesla is maya, dimensions are maya, so none of that is truth -

what kind of dimension are you talking about? spacial dimension? assuming there is that dimension, we should be already inside it at least partially, otherwise we wouldnt be able to access it/it wouldnt exist, so it's a matter of being aware of it. also if we would ascend to a higher dimension we would still exist in the third dimension. btw, a matrix is 2D, technically its called a tensor in 3D+, impress some people and what is it that you mean by vibration? -

do you guys feel the stretch in the frenulum? after a few weeks of practice i started to feel more the strain on my tongue from using the muscle instead of the stretching of the frenulum. -
i want to achieve something, so much some enlightenment some ecstatic moment some fulfillment but in order to achieve it I have to stop trying to achieve but by stopping trying to achieve it, im still trying to achieve it. I really want something to happen and i cant help but to want, so much, but in order to have it i have to drop all wants so now i want to drop all desires and in order to do so i have to drop that desire too so now i desire to drop the desire to drop the desire to infinity and beyound wtf am i supposed to do? some might say just be, dont do but doing is part of being so by doing im being some might say "dont identify with the mind" but then i identify with what doesnt identify with the mind, which is the mind. some might say "there is no time, so there's nothing to achieve in the future" that means that there is nothing at all to achieve but even though i say that i still want to achieve because even though i understand, im not conscious of it how do i become conscious of it? (another desire yada yada..)

I want to try to listen to frequencies while meditating, but there's a lot of bullshit surrounding it, so i dont know what to trust. can someone give an explanation what are they for, how they work, what they can really do, etc. also can it damage hearing? i listened to a certain gamma frequency and after i finished i still heared the sound for a few minutes

I use the parts of my fingers to count, exactly 12 of them. it wasnt mentioned in the book that you cant do other practices, it was said that its unnecessary, which I actually disagree with, I think a rule more important than all other rules is to listen to your inner guide, if your inner guide tells you to meditate, do it, on a logical level i dont see how meditation can interfere with the yoga. I personally meditate after the yoga. -

is it normal to run out of breath extremely often? when i do the pranayama im out of breath on the first two breaths and i have to take a few breaths to not suffocate and then continue. I do around 10 seconds and inbreath and outbreath, and then to 8 and 6 if i have to, but i still run out of breath. any suggestions? -

kriya specifically as far as was mentioned in the book is meant to bring you to a state of samadhi, utter concentration and unity. the side effects are fulfillment, calm mind, delusional beliefs dissolve, religious experiences (getting high lol) and a bunch of more stuff -

its useless really to explain with words, but it was just being. you were just existing. what is not useless though is to get to that state again right? well, meditate and study non duality. try alan watts videos on youtube. stop trying to figure things out and just be, dont think when its not needed, what you will notice will happen is that the mind starts chatting again, its ok, be the observer, become aware of it and it will calm down. this state is already here, but you're not aware of it. meditation and all the other stuff helps with becoming aware of it. -
Viking replied to Guillem's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Guillem it depends on what you define enlightenment as. if you define enlightenment as the absence of ego animals are definitely not enlightened. they want to survive. I also think that the terms "enlightenment" or "awakening" imply to be in ignorance or asleep before a certain happening. if animals were "enlightened" they would definitely be enlightened since birth, so those terms have little meaning. dont confuse enlightenment with being in the present moment. animals are probably always in the present because they probably dont have much the ability to plan (depends what animal) or reflect on the past. they probably dont suffer, because suffering comes from the future or past. they might have pain or sadness, as an enlightened person might have, but they wont suffer for it, also as an enlightened person, but that doesnt mean theyre enlightened. -

watched the whole vid, thanks, that very improved me. It connects really deeply to the last trip i've had, where in the afterglow I just knew what to do, there was that intelligence, intuition and creativity far beyond me, just because I didnt stand in my own way. personally in my life my mind is ALL THE TIME clogged with analyzing and how can I do better, and its forced and i feel like i have to force it to improve, yet i observe no results from it at all. maybe this is what prevents growth from happening and true growth only comes non-thinkingly, intuitively, flowingly, when you grasp with your consciousness and not with your thoughts, and you do that by just observing. fuck man, as im writing that my mind is blown, this point has been such a huge struggle for me and now finally the dots connect, thank you so much. -

what im saying is that there will be no you to enjoy -
Viking replied to zunnyman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
then enlightenment is not for you. the payoff here is knowing truth, which comes with dropping dead. you cant get truth without being willing to drop dead. erase the distinction of egodeath and physical death because from your perspective its the exact same thing. you will literally die after awakening, there will be no you to enjoy the fruits of awakening, just a walking body. -

The thing is that both quantum mechanics and general relativity are both extremely well tested theories, while one works with very large objects and the other one works with very small objects. because of that there are a bunch of problems when you apply general relativity to small scales, for example you mightve heared of the "singularity", the center of a blackhole. according to general relativity it is infinitely small, but quantum mechanics says there cant be anything smaller than a certain size. with that in mind, "time" is explained by general relativity, as you said, spacetime and stuff. The big picture is that time is not "time" but just a property of the geometry of that "spacetime" thing, i.e. how it curves. i know, doesnt make sense much, my guess is that einstein was growing some special weeds. the point is that the ideas "time" travel, "energy", "electron" are not well defined, its just a theoretical framework to predict experimental results. not only that, but it contradicts itself. our minds get fascinated by ideas, which are inherently false because the map is not the territory. it's just a playground in our mind. with that said, it doesnt mean that we shouldnt play, but we should be aware that it's a playground and in reality there's no such thing as "time", "levels of energy" or "electron". thats why im skeptical of all the new age stuff that connects its ideas to physics and such, because they might not understand the actual physics but draw conclusions, thats a thing to look out for. ultimately the uses of physics are mental masturbation (doenst have to be negative, just an appropriate term) and inventing stuff, lol. -
Viking replied to sarapr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
haha, the whole of physics relies on observations. beautiful
