To be frank, the Republican party allows nearly anyone including someone like Trump who doesn't even have any political qualifications and has never served as a politician before. -
I'm asking for this request, either of these can be given to journalers as an option - Option A - Allow journalers to delete comments they see and don't appreciate on their journals. Option B - Make a rule that lets users to comment only after obtaining permission from the journaler, give the journaler a notification every time a user wants to comment asking for a permission. That is anytime a user wants to comment on a journal, they are automatically asked to take permission from journaler before the comment can be posted. Once the journaler gives the permission by clicking "yes" then the comment will be posted. Do this for every comment every time. Give any of the above options to journalers. So both parties are satisfied. People who want to comment can still comment. At the same time if the journaler does not appreciate how a user comments they can either delete or not give the permission to comment. This way we will have more autonomy over our personal content. It will be great if either Option is alloted to journalers

How would you describe the republican moderates? -

Why do you think he bought Twitter though? I just don't understand his reasoning? -

@Kksd74628 a white lie situation is different and can be useful. Yet suppressing truth that could benefit people can be harmful and unjust. For example let's say a new drug has dangerous effects and most people are forbidden from challenging the efficacy of the drug. That seems like a deliberate sabotage of well being. -

That's been my observation as well. Although the right wing uses freedom of speech as a weapon of radicalization so it's cannot be viewed as a heralding of righteousness. Whereas the Left is acting intolerant and oppressive with its cancel culture dynamic. It seems that both have plunged into some variation of intolerance. One wants license and the other engages in virtue signaling. Both use it as a weapon either way. The right weaponizing. The Left demonizing None is better than the other. -

Regarding freedom of speech I have two things to say — One is that freedom of speech is no license for saying absolutely anything. And must not be used in this manner. Second, freedom of speech should not suppress relative truths. That's injustice. Balance the pendulum to the middle and we have the perfect pancake. -

Nope. I don't know Kanyes motivation. My motivation was to get some clarity over power struggles with respect to races. But I'm not the only one. This query is like an open wound. Unless it's not properly and fully addressed, it will always keep coming up in different ways for decades. Ironically that's what feeding the conspiracy theories. At some point, most people will freely acknowledge it. It won't be suppressed for too long. That's inevitable imo. -

One can even have a discussion in a healthy way. This is the problem with conspiracy theorists. They even shut down meaningful discussions. This is like saying shut down something because trolls are going to infect it. But instead, we can remove those trolls and still have a discussion. You can remove all the bad faith parts including the conspiracy theories. Then glean it. And discuss just the valid parts. I don't find it invalid to judge the concentration of Jewish people in different influential positions nor do i find it offensive or illegitimate. But people are always going to question something they see as an anomaly. You want equal participation of all races and I don't find that invalid or unfair. It's only fair that positions of power should be equally distributed. No one should have an upper hand there. And that's a fair point. The jewish history is actually irrelevant. Because one is speaking about current trends and this is completely irrelevant to their history. Although historical context can be used as a support. Yet a lot of people who offer valid opinions are not necessarily aware of the historical context and that's okay, it's not a crime that they don't know history. Some people criticize from a bad faith position. Yet others are trying to seek equality of all races and do not want one race dominating another. The same discussion can be had in good faith without it being anti semitic or conspiracy laden. -

I always thought the Left was about freedom of speech. They are literally the liberals. The Right abuses freedom of speech. But the Left should endorse it. -
Nice game. It's like a dog chasing its own tail.

You're being incredibly strict. But it's your forum so whatever floats your boat. I have no idea why things are like that here. Surprised. Maybe times will change you. Goodluck. -

@Leo Gura I asked about Jewish supremacy but you didn't even offer a legit answer or argument. You simply shut it down. I just don't get it. At least you could have offered a proper argument. That's literally banning free speech. Because you literally did not even allow a discussion nor offered a legit answer. Even a question is such a threat? A question is not hate speech. I'm myself a left wing person but I'm not on the right side but curiosity will always exist. Why do you think this is wrong even without an explanation? I'm surprised. It's a very innocuous question and I think people will always ask this. People will always try to seek a closure on that question. I mean I just don't get it. It's not even a conspiracy. Just being open and frank yet it's considered salacious. I didn't like how you didn't address it at all. You just glossed over it. It's a question that is asked too often these days and I didn't find it illegitimate. Can you please tell me what was untrue about it? Any arguments please. -
In other words they don't have an obligation to follow your opinion or train of thought. They are free to do as they please. Criticism is an offering and not an order and when someone is not okay with how you criticize them, then it's your failure in convincing them and just because they are not welcoming your criticism, you can't keep pestering them on and on about it. That's trying to control them and their freedom and they have zero obligation to follow you when you are not respecting their freedoms and ways of being. No?

It's my father's death anniversary. I'm dealing with a lot in my fucking life. I can't handle internet abuse. I'm serious I'm going to end my life. I like journaling. I don't like intrusion. It impacts me mentally. The journaling helps me heal mentally everyday and that's why I do it. I am severely mentally ill. I'm very depressed. The journaling acts as a therapy for me. I simply cannot deal with cyberbullying. I'm seriously going to kill myself because I have no other solution other than journaling my troubles and seek relief. The people who run this website don't understand how important this is for mentally ill people like me.. I'm terribly frustrated with this website's policy that doesn't allow any privacy to journal. Anybody can comment in journals and it drives me nuts. Because for people like me, intrusion impacts us mentally. We like to be left alone I'm Hyper sensitive for fucks sake. I am paranoid 24/7 that somebody will comment on my journal. It makes me uncomfortable to the point of suicide. I'm not like other people. And I hate how this sensitivity is constantly being preyed on. Why can't this website stop people from commenting on journals and make journals inaccessible to Commenters. Why isn't the owner of the website doing something? It is a huge frustration for me because I use the journaling mainly for my trauma therapy and I cannot afford someone intruding in it It drives me insane with fear, anxiety and insecurity, distress. Last 2 days I've been crying all day long feeling paranoid that someone will try to abuse me in my journals. When repeated disclaimers are given to not comment. Why is this never taken seriously? This was the only place that made me feel safe. And I constantly feel my space being invaded I want this website to really do something seriously about this. I'm going insane with paranoid fear. I have anxiety and panic disorder. I go into panic mode and panic attacks when I see a comment in my journal. And there are other users who feel similar ways. This has to stop. I've been fighting against this for so long. This website encourages cyberbullying of vulnerable people. I'm also planning to leave the forum and just stick to journals because I can't take this blatant abuse anymore. I'm seriously tired and suicidal. I'm begging for help. Mods and Leo have to do something about this I'm sick of feeling fear/anxiety all the time.

@Gesundheit2 stop demoralizing me and leave my thread. Do not use this opportunity to shit on me. Stop trolling a suicidal person okay.
-
@Gesundheit2 sorry but you're derailing the topic completely. Whatever you said has absolutely nothing to do with my demand about journal comments. And I don't why you are even bothering to comment when this topic has no benefit or loss for you. You're putting me down constantly when I'm already feeling down. Is this how you comment to someone who is suicidal. Shame on you. Have some sensitivity for God's sake. And if you really have such a huge problem with my conduct then you can request Leo to ban me and talk to him about it. I can't help you with that. That's up to Leo to decide. Don't come to me telling me what problems I'm causing when I'm myself dealing with my own problems. Pure gaslighting dude. Can you give me a break? You every comment is demoralizing me. I'll stop replying to you. You talk about love. You are like showing the least love. Your post is full of pity, hate and gaslighting. It's only making me feel worse about myself. And then you will say "this is truth" and "this is harsh".... Please keep your insensitivity to yourself. You're trying so hard to hurt me. I can't believe you think this is loving from you. Please stop.

@Leo Gura I'm waiting for your reply to this thread request. Thanks. (request has been detailed above)

We have 80 replies on this thread. I guess that's sufficient. We have all laid out our points and opinions fairly. I don't see any meaning in further extending this argument. Almost everything that needs to be said has been said already. I'll end it here. Now let's wait for the final verdict on this issue. I'll stop replying now. Either @Leo Gura does something about it or this entire thread was pointless. Can we all wait for final stance from Leo? Can any mod do a favor of messaging Leo and inform him of this thread/request please? Thanks.
