  1. I'm sorry you're going through this. It's a valid concern. And I feel that a lot of people are not getting your struggles here. You have every right to complain about it. I also get this vibe that lots of people kinda gaslighted you on this thread in a cheap attempt to make their claims. You should invest in alternative sources of income at this point. The world will always move on in the worst directions not caring about who they are stamping on.
  2. Consciousness or intelligence is very much contingent upon your own level of passion and commitment to values that consistently align you to freedom and spirituality and away from the illusion of materialism. The level of intellectual and emotional maturity needed for the same has to be outstanding.
  3. This is very hard to have because most humans are simply incapable of escaping their self biases yet we can collectively take measures to expose these biases on a societal level, something that you see in the modern cancel culture movements on places like Twitter.
  4. I'm deeply disturbed by this. What if someone is biased against you?
  5. God you reminded me of Alan Watts. That thought has always been at the back of my mind.
  6. By disrupting the clattering "outside" world, you permit your thoughts to flow freely. This promotes relaxation and mental exploration. once our thoughts flow like this, we tend to area unit during a state referred to as alpha waves. after we unite within the alpha zone, we tend to intuit calm and don't think about something as a compulsion. Dream breaks are not simply fun; they're necessary to enter relaxed states. Our minds area unit unable to take care of focus and productivity unrelenting, sensible brain health needs some regular time, especially when a protracted day at work or when a disagreement with a colleague, let your mind drift to one thing - - all unacquainted and fun. This may assist you IN forgetting and be aloof from tough things. Having a tool like Daydreaming at our disposal is very helpful once handling perceived threats or thronged environments. It's another tool within the psychological state toolkit for avoiding stress and anxiety. If you're feeling more and more anxious, you will wish to present yourself a daydream and follow these steps: The first step is to induce aloof from your table, workplace, or any distractions. Then take a deep breath. Then exhale slowly. repeat. Finally, think about one thing fun and purposeful to you. You can imagine yourself in your favorite place, enjoying long walks within the forest. otherwise you will trust the new automobile you wish to shop for. What color can it be? What options can it have? are you able to imagine however amazing it feels within the driver's seat?
  7. We all have weaknesses. Whether it's cravings for alcohol, cigarettes, unhealthy food, a social media obsession, or the video game Fortnite (what the hell is this game, by the way?!), it works. The same for us. Weaknesses don't only appear in areas where we lack self-control. We all have strong suits and things that make us uncomfortable. For example, I don't mind difficult conversations, the long paperwork involved in searching through old documents I didn't save in the first place, staying calm when someone shoots me, or calling automated phone systems. So I have actively (or intentionally) avoided these activities. Now, I try to confront them directly or delegate them to someone else. (Never forget the art of micro-delegating!)
  8. Give space to yourself. Don't beat yourself up for bad days. Keep yourself cheerful and do things that you really love doing. I've a thread on motivation in the mental section. That might help you.
  9. Lsd helps. Is what I've heard.
  10. Yea everything is an illusion I agree. Once you begin to see only love everywhere you realize everything is perfect the way it is. Even selfishness is love.
  11. @Carl-Richard yup. Music can help heal mental disorders. I have to do more research on this area. The mechanism of how this comes about isn't exactly clear. But it definitely helps to rewire the brain.
  12. Sometimes God passes by While you are busy making plans And suddenly it hits you and you realize You're just a speck of dirt in the universe Yet God knows you
  13. @Carl-Richard have you looked into the connection between music and the brain?
  14. This sounds similar to God realization. Keep em coming.
  15. Raise your own value and you'll automatically be invited to places where you'll find high class upper echelon kind of people. Mingle in that crowd, you'll surely run into your types. I don't know why that would be hard.
  16. @Carl-Richard I've a thread on Bernardo Kastrup. Am I allowed to add more stuff to that thread?
  17. Good job being human. You are alright sir.
  18. My number one flaw is laziness and procrastination followed by lack of focus and clarity.. List yours.
  19. How about prevention and healing? How about the message that we don't fuck up people in the first place? How about reducing the overall burden of karma? Grassroots approach, nip it in the bud. Just offering my Alt perspective, not arguing yours at all. You're showing empathy to victims and I deeply appreciate but I'm trying to be Empathetic to both parties. I see the criminal as a victim of the system too. To what extent is everything only and only personal responsibility? Do you agree that people are impacted by their environment and their upbringing too? Why don't they get their karma then?
  20. @thisintegrated you haven't given me much fodder to debate you on this. First tell me your personal perspective and then I can offer my thoughts. Sir you first.
  21. I think you can always maintain a strict threshold. Allow things to unfold on their own and when a situation enters your threshold area, it's time to call it quits. Of course it's a matter of balance and perception.
