  1. U.S.A , as well as the rest of the world, haven't truly realized what has hit them yet. Wait couple of years. The after shock will soon arrive. Maybe even sooner than that. Brace yourselves. It will not be a fun ride.
  2. @Elisabeth I'm in a similar situation as you. I'm thinking of doing couple of things first. 1. Do a Vipasana retreat successfully. 2. Do another ayahuasca ceremony. 3. Do a lesser substance first to familiarize to the state of mind. That being said , I'm kinda in talks with a shaman n my chemist friend about 1:1 5 meo ceremony already, cause I just can't wait. I'll be interested to see which one of us does it first, and how was it.
  3. Having an enlightened being behind the curtains can be beneficial. In Persian literature, there is Always this crazy person with the king , giving him advice. That crazy person, or court's fool , is an enlighten being, guiding the Sultan without anyone really realizing. He or she is the real person in control. Shahrzad the storyteller was also one of them. We are missing Court Fool , on top of everything else. Of course it gets this disastrous.
  4. I don't think enlightened beings would even consider becoming a president in the first place. In my opinion, at least for the moment, only very deluded people seek such an amount of power and control. But who knows. Maybe someone in a very high stage of hierarchy (green or higher) sees a good enough reason. I am planning a comic book, where the "rulers" or "leaders", are enlightened beings, and what that would look like. I haven't figure out the plot, or any arcs yet though. Its been very challenging. Im constantly being shifted in my own perspective. What i thought was true 6 months ago is no longer the case. And yeah , i do think having a certain higher perspective is a threat to certain organisations. From personal experience, I am having trouble at work with higher ups, and Im not even one minuscule close to being enlightened. I just try to be open minded, and even that is causing conflict. And I am a freaking artist, in a technology sector! Cant imagine what other work places look like.
  5. @zikzak Thanks for the advice and guidance. Yes, I would prefer having someone experienced help me out, at least for the first couple of times. I get what Leo saying as well regarding maturity. I guess the willingness to embrace the dangers are also part of the whole thing. If you don't have the courage to embrace death, then you are not ready.
  6. Yes, losing friends and getting more isolated is what i experience as well. But i don't mind it, I actually enjoy the feeling of solitude, and the free time i have gained. Also, I have noticed that the quality of my relationships have improved a lot. I make much deeper connection with people, even if I don't see them ever again. The weirder and hardcore they are, the more we attract. I think you should embrace this solitude. Convert it to a creative pursuit if you like. Write, draw, paint,.... a personal project maybe. Remember that things will not stay the same. Use your Opportunity now.
  7. @Richard Alpert One more good reason to visit Netherlands then! Thanks a lot!
  8. @Leo Gura True, true. Maybe i'm not ready. Then again I'm having a calling that i cant ignore for much longer.
  9. I have to be honest, I am scared of doing any kind of Psychedelics, including 5 Meo on my own , without having an experienced person with me. I go to Ayahuasca resorts with the presence of Shamans and guides. I do know couple of Psychedelics Phd researchers here in UK. I have been thinking of asking them to help me with it, but haven't had the courage yet. I wish there was such a mystical place similar to Aya retreats around for Psychedelics. There must be some, but i am not aware of them yet.
  10. @EchoesIn my experience, throughout the course of your life, you go through different phases. Right now you seem to be going through a phase which is more concerned about certain things, and less about others. Try and go with the flow of it, instead of judging it. This will pass too, and a new phase will come. Seasons. All of them have their own beauty and importance.
  11. Let go of the whole concept. It's just an illusion. Everyone have some kind of struggle within them , no matter how likable or superior they seem. You don't need to be inferior or superior to anyone. Just breath. Learn new skills that you enjoy. Be healthy. Be kind to yourself.
  12. An hour south of London, United Kingdom. Also Toronto, Canada every know and then.
  13. You are over thinking. Just start the journey already (which you have already it, seems). You 'll make decisions as you go. You have to be the one doing the work regardless.
  14. @Damir Elezi yes sort of. The suffering is a signal. Discomfort. How we choose to deal with that emotionally depends on our level of consciousness. It is not necessary a bad thing, even though it can be hard to deal with. It is just a signal. Their is a type of huge deep sea Crab which breaks out of its shell when its too tight, once a year. If it doesn't, it will get crushed from within. But while they are breaking the shell, they can be hunted by other predators, cause they are too soft and exposed. Vulnerable. Maybe we are in a similar situation. We need to evolve, because we are getting signals. But in the process, we might be eaten. But the difference is, we are also our own worst enemy. We are the hunters and the hunted.
  15. Very interesting subject to contemplate about Damir. In my view, there are couple of ways of looking at it. One is that everything is as it should be. Everything is perfect. So the way human beings are also the way they should be. Another way is that, any form, that goes through change, re-manifestation, needs to breaks it shell, its cocoon. We as species are constantly evolving, seems faster than some other forms of life. We make a lot of mistakes along the way, which can be painful and costly. We may not make it. Our constant change makes it risky. Some people may say technology brings us comfort, but look at all the loneliness and dysfunction it is creating at the same time. This is all part of growth. I do believe that one day , we will evolve from this form too. Who knows, maybe we will be a more whole being. More conscious, more natural. Whatever it may look like.
  16. Raw beauty. Thank you for sharing. I got very emotional. So happy for you! and also happy for myself, and everything in between the non-separation.
  17. YES..... That would be awesome! Just say when you are ready to stop by in Europe.
  18. My pleasure @Nahm Definitely go for it. If Peru is too expensive for you, try and find a good local Shaman.
