  1. everytime i turn my adblocker off when i need to for certain websites I always get Eckhrt Tolle adverts trying to get me to sign up for his courses!
  2. also wouldn't it be better to try and see his side of the argument rather than needing help to confirm your side?
  3. Great recent video Leo, one of my favourites. I love when everything is tied in together with politics, history, SD, spirituality etc. Leo talks about unity and division and how the culture wars at the moment is tier 1 division which came out from the unity of stage blue. After seeing the limits of this stage many factors gave rise to people having different ideologies but with a lack of epistemology which can make it hard for ppl to decide which direction to head in. How will this division eventually unite people when there are always going to be people at different stages on the spiral? Surely the only way for this to happen would be for everyone to move up to tier 2 integral consciousness as anything lower than this then there’s going to be backlash and more division? If that’s the case this will take centuries surely?
  4. after reading the power of now i was interested in meditation so watched a video on how to meditate. Then watched another video called how society fucks you in the ass which really got my attention.
  5. this forum is also a dopamine hit
  6. I highly recommend it! I've been doing it for a month now, mainly Kriya Yoga and concentration. If you get your whole body and head under the water apart from your mouth and nose it feels like you are in the womb when in I AMness. I also find it much easier to stay present and very euphoric. Just watch out that you don't fall asleep or that your mouth and nose go under the water.
  7. I feel like rebel wisdom is one my main go to channels and they are very much into integral spirituality. I was pleasantly surprised to see on their channels that the follow Leo's content. I wonder how many have been inspired.
  8. wow that is one passionate man
  9. Not only is he wearing green, his surname is Greenfield!
  10. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with this critique, however I hope you agree that to make sure you aren't going down the wrong path you should constantly check in with yourself to make sure you aren't being deluded. You should always look at a critique of anything you follow/read/learnt/believe in order to make an accurate decision. I think this is the fairest critique of Leo i've come across especially the second one.
  11. In what way?
  12. yea i watched this earlier today too and that doomsday prediction was a red flag for me too. Made me think he was using it to try and get ppl to find god.
  13. according to this which i am watching now it is said that the ego remains if suicide is partaken
  14. I feel Rupert beautifully sums the situation up. "It is our sacred duty to love everybody equally. The appropriate response to this situation must be informed by the understanding of our shared being (love) - If it doesn’t come from this and instead comes from only seeing their conditioning then the prejudice and the division which caused the injustice in the first place will be present to a degree in our response, and although our response may be effective (to a degree) in the short term, in the long term it won’t put an end to the injustice because it has not uprooted the cause of the injustice -that is that we don't love each other equally. Our response should be informed by the love for these 2 people (George Floyd and Derek Chauvin) If we feel the love for these 2 people equally in our hearts we are then in a position to respond appropriately and take whatever action necessary. I am not implying we shouldn’t take action, sometimes very firm action is required - this is one such case. If it doesn’t come from love it won’t have the power to effect the change in society for which so many people deeply long."
  15. he seems really authentic in this video I think he prob had some kind of awakening
  16. Any topics can be discussed but instead of being tied down to the content they would be analysed through a stage yellow lens. Yea that would be a problem establishing whether the people talking in it were yellow and moderating how yellow conversations would occur.
  17. Yea I wrote some things a month ago about the limits of spiral dynamics closely related to this. To be truly open minded you have to be able to be at ease with any paradigm without resistance coming up in the body - one which is that spiral dynamics is completely wrong, or that stage red is higher than turquoise regardless of whether or not it is true.
  18. Would it be a good idea to have a stage yellow sub forum where we could discuss any topics in a meta way? I would love that.
  19. Yea that's why i typed it out and put it on here as I realised as i was watching it that the settings were changed to private maybe for his paid members? So I decided to type it out here as I thought it was worth sharing.
  20. That's the main difference between stage green and stage turquoise right?
  21. I am wanting to make a comprehensive list of all the good parts of the lower stages of spiral dynamics. I do this to help me integrate more into stage Yellow as a lot of stage yellow is about seeing the good in the lower stages. I would like to focus on Blue, Orange and Green as I don't feel Red is too relevant today. I would be very grateful if people would add to it to make it more comprehensive. Blue Care for family Being a good citizen Looking out for your neighbour Community having a nation you can be proud of forgiveness having a map for how to live less confusion as you know what to do and how things are support from people around you (church groups) less complications Deep love for the nation, bible, people in your in group Orange supporting your family financially independence freedom creativity take life in your own hands productivity logical rational more analytical can create a life you want (how you always dreamt) capitalism can lifts others up work hard and be rewarded sense of achievement taking action rather than just theory Green Caring Empathy relative world centric understands issues more deeply (without environmental care there will be no way of boosting the economy) community compassion less suppression of true emotions more understanding of what we are (not defined by gender, race, status etc) equality trying to change things for the better transparency communication
