Both. Both. BOTH ! Life purpose and enlightenment are synergistic ! That means that they multiply each other. And if you've got 10'000 on life purpose and 0.001 on enlightenment, then you've got only 10 in total, that's nothing ! If you were to have just 10 on lp and 10 on enlightenment, then you would end up with 100 total ! You can see how you could easily be shooting yourself in the foot. But it's also that easy to lift yourself up. My point is, say yes to both. Say YES to both ! Then start taking action for both.

The whole vegan movement is just a neurotic overreaction against american beef overproduction habits. I know that lots of people report better health but that's because we get more results from not eating really shitty foods rather than eating healthy foods. Eliminating processed foods generally happens when you go vegan, hence all the results. Too low a protein intake will kill you, your metabolism needs it. Too high a protein intake will also kill you too, these studies have a point. Also, getting all your protein from one source will kill you because you need an amino acid balance (bone broth is most certainly one of the best ways to get protein). You can be vegan if you want, just make sure you get enough protein, and from various sources (hemp has a really rich amino acid profile, check it out). Also, make sure you don't eat grains, they're really unhealthy. Animal protein is still of higher quality, we evolved to eat meat, fish, fowl, and poultry. Oh, and also, about dairy. More people than you'd think are lactose intolerant, but if you're not, you can have it. Just make sure you get the most natural and least processed dairy as you can, this is where you get the most nutrition. I personally don't like dairy, so I just don't eat it.

You can always ask for your money back, you know. Also I found that I really need to connect with someone before I buy from them (unless it's a cheap book). I won't care too much about their sales technique. As long as I trust them and am passionate about the results they're promising, I'll buy. And, again, I can ask for my money back.

Life Purpose is a much smarter long term financial strategy than the typical 9-to-5 career, so you're on the right track. Do acting on the side, become a really great, talented actor. Start auditioning, try to start making money. At the end of college, you might need to get a job unless the acting thing is really kicking off. If you focus a lot on doing your best at acting and fulfilling your life purpose, the money thing will just figure itself out. Also, learn as much as you can about great acting, and practice. Practice, practice, practice. In college, you have much more free time than when you have a job, so make the most of it.

30mg of 5-MeO up your nose and 15 minutes later, you'll understand how the body-mind can die and no-thing can still exist. You people seem to forget that time and space are not real, death isn't either, sleep isn't either, there are no things in reality. -
@Flare You and I are in complete agreement here.

To be clear, when I say rationality, I mean working with things. "What" would be a thing, so.... The only way I could describe this would be after I become conscious of it, which sounds quite hard since I can't even become conscious of who I am. Nevertheless, I think an evolved species would have some paradigm that would be a better description of reality, maybe similar to rationality on some levels but different. -

Yeah this is a vibe I've been getting a lot recently : I really don't know shit about anything. Sorry I wasn't clear : my advice to you is : don't care about enlightenment, care about raising your consciousness. Emotion drives behavior. It's the thing that makes you think you have free will. Don't undermine it. And, when you grow, the part of you that's about to die, shows up, and that can cause strong emotions. -

You do realize that evolution could bring a species to something radically different from rationality, right ? Literally everything we think up is egocentric. -

@Telepresent I honestly couldn't care less about enlightenment, I only care about raising my consciousness to its maximum potential. -

Enlightenment is simply awareness being aware of itself. As a human being, you can realize that you are awareness being aware of itself. And then you can start living from that place, people will tell you that you're "enlightened". And, yes, you're essentially just giving yourself an answer to the question "Who am I ?" when you're "pursuing" enlightenment. But when you become "enlightened", it's not the same because, this time, you became directly conscious of Truth (as opposed to before when it was all just lies). -
I've been learning a lot about life purpose, I've been learning a lot about learning and teaching themselves. I really geeked out on this in 2016. I've also learned a lot about business and Internet marketing. I can bring insights from all this and tell you : there is no surefire way to know this (hence the diversity of responses). The most fundamental insight I've had is simple : Vision. Do you have a clear picture of this world being different in at least one specific way ? Especially how have people changed their behavior ? And what kind of awareness do they have ? I could go on asking questions about your vision for hours. My point is : unless your vision is about this kind of stuff, there's a strong likelihood this is an egoic desire. In Internet marketing, I learned that there are 3 things that make money : Teaching about 1) Business/Money, 2) Relationships, and 3) Health/Fitness. Those are egoic desires unless you see this kind of self-improvement as necessary for you to accomplish your vision that's bigger than yourself. Having this kind of vision really helps you change your life around. If you have a great vision and can see how what you strive for fits into the big picture, then you're probably not looking at an egoic desire. It took me like 6-9 months to come up with my vision, but very well worth it.

Eben Pagan's most inspiring figure :

Hemingway, Shakespeare, Dickens. And, if you can speak French, Molière, Voltaire, Baudelaire, La Fontaine, etc. Maybe you can also read Greek and Roman philosophy in English. All the books that form the base of religions (like the Bible) can also be great if you understand spiritual teachings, and can see through the egoism. I think you get the point.

@Azrael Thank you for this. 'Love your signature too. And, guys, here's what Leo's job is : To talk in front of a camera. That's all he's doing. He's just sharing insights. And, yes, these are deep insights about life. But they come to you in the form of an idea, because we can't communicate any better. Today, he explained this very topic. Notice how @electroBeam projected his problem onto Leo, and that's preventing him from learning, which is exactly what Leo said. You can still do projections, but if you do it with awareness, you might find that they're limiting your growth. Or maybe not ? Who knows ?

I'm currently listening to a seminar. It was made by Eben Pagan and Wyatt Woodsmall and it talks about Learning and Teaching. I'm only at the beginning but so far it's just been AMAZING !!!! One of the things I've learned is the following : There is data, and then if you organize it you get information, which you can then organize into knowledge (you use specific frameworks for that, such as the Why What How What-If). Then, you can combine knowledge with experience to create Understanding, which you can then organize into Wisdom. Self-improvement is one field. You can break it down into smaller things and master each of them. You don't learn to play chess all at once. You first divide it into attack moves, defense moves, and whatever else (I don't know how to play chess). And Leo is not here teaching you how to play chess, it's always self-improvement. It seems you're really interested in life purpose right now. Okay good, that's an integral part of self-improvement. Master it, then move on to other things.

So here are my tips. But I haven't ever tried any psychedelic before so keep that in mind. In his video, Leo says 20mg is a light dose, 16mg can be considered a really light dose. Effects vary between individuals, you clearly have a low tolerance, probably because it's your first psychedelic. You'll probably break through at 25 mg, who knows. Maybe leave a little more time in between trips, not because of physical tolerance, but just so that there's more anticipation. And make sure you leave time open by yourself to integrate the experience. Other than that, you seem really ready to surrender, which is perhaps the most important point. Breaking through really involves full 100% psychological death. And you gotta surrender to that, but I doubt you'll have too much trouble with, so you're good to go.- 10 replies

Meditate every day. Read self-help books every day. Apply what you learn. Do affirmations and visualizations (Leo has some videos about that) every day. Here's a more structural action plan : Master your physical health. Then master your emotions. Then master your mind. And then focus on spirituality. This worked for me. It'll probably work for you to.

I did full on NoFap for about 3 months last year. It was like a purging, a reboot. At the end, I started meditating and working hard every day, I quit video games and cleaned up my diet. All of that over only a few weeks. But I started watching porn again, online once a week and no weird shit. I'm still getting all of the benefits of nofap because I'm not psychologically dependent on porn, which I think is the goal of nofap. I'm sure many people have the same story with nofap. I think that I won't be using porn and masturbation as soon as I get regular access to real sex with a real girl.

To me, diversification is the key word. As long as they don't add any weird shit to their tea, I can drink it. Here's why : all teas have health benefits. Not the same benefits, which is why I like to diversify. And also it makes me feel like I'm some kind of connoisseur.

I am incredibly happy that you're doing this. Thank You So Much ! Here's a thought, not grounded in direct experience, 100% speculative. Maybe a good way to raise your consciousness is to come into the trip with a particular question like "What is time ?" or "What am I ?" or whatever is on your mind. I remember reading an Ayahuasca breakthrough experience report where the guy became fully conscious of what it meant to take 100% responsibility for your entire life ! I interpret this this way : don't take anything for granted.

Eliminate sugars, processed foods, and grains. Eat more healthy fats (avocados, nuts, seeds, eggs, fatty fish), vegetables and a little fruit. You'll lose weight at an incredibly high rate. You can read the primal blueprint by Mark Sisson, he's just awesome at explaining this to you.
