  1. Not to say you're wrong, but you better hope you're right since you're so convinced. The worst thing is to be wrong and have it never cross your mind.
  2. Not if you want to be Enlightened. To be Enlightened, you gotta realize Ego is an illusion.
  3. I'm at a point where talk/thinking/debating is 100% irrelevant. It's only seeing that's relevant.
  4. Sort of. But then again, nobody is born Enlightened, so thought must factor in heavily on the Path somewhere.
  5. Sort of, but you gotta see through Ego much deeper than most people want to. Most people don’t want to do that, and thus they remain Spiritual Egos trapped in Ego. That ain’t gonna get you liberation. It will get you a taste of liberation but not the full-blown thing. I wouldn’t really say it’s a happy ending because that’s Ego. It’s a realization of the Truth — namely the Truth that you’re not the Egoic self, and that all Thought and Experience are actually an illusion. It’s a detachment of the true Self from illusory Maya. When the true Self gets embedded or distracted within illusory Thought and Experience, that’s what creates Ego. Suffering is caused when God Awareness forgets who He is and gets tossed around in the illusion. That’s what Samsara is. You awaken from Samsara and realize the true Self of God Awareness, and you realize that Maya a.k.a. Is like a dream that can’t fundamentally hurt You because You’re all that actually exists, and You’re all alone. That’s one thing that a lot of people would have a real hard time to accept. That actually caused my second Dark Night of the Soul when I realized I’m all alone In reality.
  6. Isn’t the whole point of Buddhism not to be so clingy with ideology and attachment? I’ve never met a Buddhist who feels like they gotta defend their ideology before. To me that sounds like religion. Maybe Buddhism is a religion, but I never took it that way. Not in the sense of clinging hard to beliefs and identification. Maybe noobs to Buddhism are like that. Watch some Adyashanti videos perhaps. He’s one of my favorite teachers and I believe he comes outta the Buddhist tradition.
  7. This reminds me of something a Muslim would say -- 'The person/idea known as Buddha was not fundamentally corrupt.' Replace 'Buddha' with 'Muhammad'. Rings Stage Blueish to me.
  8. I think one day I did 4 hours. That was a long time. But I was into it too, it wasn't forced. It was during a time when I was really getting a lot of healing done by meditating a lot.
  9. What worries me is that it's too one-sized-fits-all. Enlightenment is a solo journey at the end of the day.
  10. It's a good start. But at the end of the day you have to do the work yourself. Nobody can do the work for you. Only you can to do your own self-observation work -- and self-observation work is highly important for Enlightenment Work.
  11. Start to make a distinction between the true Self and the Egoic self. Can you make the distinction between the true Self and the Egoic self in you? You should be able to see this clearly.
  12. All Thought and Experience are Maya. All Awareness does is Awareness. In other words, Awareness is that which is aware of illusory Thought and Experience. God Awareness is Awareness that realizes it's the only 'thing' that actually exists. The duality of language makes this hard to capture in words, so you gotta actually see it. Use the words to do some self-observation. I'm expressing this in words, but the seeing that underlies these words has nothing to do with Thinking, it's a seeing. But I can't mind-meld others (because I'm the only mind), so I gotta put this into words to communicate it outward.
  13. People have as many shades of meaning as there are people for these words. That's the problem with abstract words, people can kinda hide in them and turn them into whatever they want them to be.
  14. Reality is not infinite, reality is God Awareness.
  15. Good question to flag and to think about more. I don't agree that there's 'relative Truth'. There's only one Truth.
  16. This is too Thought-laden. Seeing is seeing. Seeing doesn't require Thought. The Egoic mind loves this kind of analysis, but this doesn't prove anything in true Metaphysics. The Truth is a seeing not a Thinking.
  17. Don't allow yourself to become dependent on Youtube. You're gonna have to have irons in more than one fire if you wanna be sustainable selling and marketing your personal development products and services.
  18. All Free will is Egoic. Awareness, which is the true self, has a freedom to be aware though, which is a certain kind of free will. And keen-awareness can affect the illusion but in a non-linear way that is not easily correlated with models that we can construct. Awareness has the free will to be aware. But the Egoic-self lacks free will because Thought and Experience are a literal illusion.
  19. You have to be smarter than the gurus so as not be confused by them. And this is not intellectual smartness. This is you knowing who you are and trusting your own self-observation. Then you can take it or leave it with the gurus. Gurus get you wrapped up in their own 'ritual of terms' or talk. You need to develop your own ritual of terms that comes from focusing inward.
  20. The best way to teach someone is to help them do self-observation for themselves. And then talk to them about it, but don't push any theory on them. Let them tell you what they see.
  21. Mooji gives off a certain spiritual vibe too which kind of encourages it.
  22. The best charisma is just to never lie and be light about it. Charisma is having the balls to be real. The reason why fakers have charisma is because they don't give a sh*t which gives them the illusion of genuineness. The key to charisma is to give a shit and also be real -- but also be light about it, which shows that you're internally grounded. You can not care and also be nice. That's where you want to be. Your niceness isn't based on Ego, it's based on compassion. It's based on realizing that you're all alone in existence.
  23. What are the 'qualifications' for seeing through the illusion of Maya (Thought and Experience) and discovering the true Self?
