'[G]oing to make me happy' is Ego. Ego is never gonna make you happy. That's the big realization that comes with finding the true Self. -

You are the Awareness not the Maya -- Awareness of Maya, Awareness of illusory Thought and Experience. -
That’s what the Love video sorta is. Leo is only talking to himself in his videos. That's an insight to keep in mind. I am only writing for myself when I write in my Journal as well. Leo's videos are actually a very detailed profile of Leo because it's what Leo wants to tell himself. Ditto for my writings. The idea of helping others is simply an excuse to empty your cup of all these beliefs and Thoughts. It takes a while to see through Ego at this level though. Once you realize you're only talking to yourself, you can still do it (talk to yourself), but you're not gonna be clinging to it the same way as before.

Everything that's said are little hints that might or might not resonate with you. Think of them as little invitations down certain pathways. But at the end of the day, you're only gonna resonate with what you resonate with. And your Path will be what it is. So, don't get too distracted by the menu, just keep aware to what you like. You'll transcend the entire menu at some point anyway. -

Yeah, but we gotta use language to communicate. What I'm communicating is 'prior to' language and has nothing to do with Thinking; it's a seeing. It's not like I can mind-meld people without using language. I'm forced to try to put my seeing into words, otherwise it stays with me. So, to communicate, we are forced to use Thought in order to point others to see what we see. Even you're using language to try to refute me. It's a useless game. If my insights resonate with you, take them. If they don't, ignore them or ask me to clarify them. But to argue with me is pointless, and for me to argue with you is pointless. I'm simply sharing my personal development. If you can get something from it, great. If not, it's pointless to argue with me. You don't argue with George Carlin about his approach to comedy. It's who he is. He's just sharing who he is. It's not to be argued with, it's to be taken as more like a work of art. And not everybody resonates with the same art. Ditto for Enlightenment teachings. Do I consider myself to be an Enlightenment teacher? No. But to share insights as I do at this level requires teaching, and so I am a teacher whether I want to be or not to post these insights. -

Here's how it happened for me: I needed a lot of theory (and needed to do a lot of writing) to empty my cup. I had to analyze my way out of the cup so to speak, as paradoxical as that is. (And analysis was not enough, seeing was also required too.) Once outside of the cup, practice becomes much more important. Most people are still inside the cup, and they gotta exhaust that before they see that practice is most important. You need to light the fuse of theory and it needs to burn itself out for you however that has to happen and for as long as that has to happen. Just keep doing the work. Eventually, if you're anything like me, you'll be able to let go of the contents of the cup and realize that all of it was illusion and Egoic distraction all along. One characteristic of the true Self is that it exists alone outside of all illusory Maya, outside of all illusory Thought and Experience. -

How about this one: a scientist who becomes an ascetic caveman. That's kind of what Stage Coral is (if we think of Yellow turning into Coral). The teacher turned ascetic (if we think of Turquoise turning into Coral). -

At the end of the day you do need teachers, but you gotta kick the training wheels away at some point and become your own teacher. Only you can observe you. No third party is gonna observe you for you. Nobody can do your pushups for you as they say -- and this also applies to self-observation. -

It's important to me. If you don't care, so be it. If someone else does care, so be it. To the extent care is made known to me is the extent that I will elaborate either here or in a private message to me. -

I like Adyashanti, but I disagree with his Stage Turquoise Metaphysics. I also resonate with Mooji and Eckhart Tolle, but not fully. -

Non-incarnation is simply realizing the Egoic self is an illusion as well as all Maya a.k.a. Thought and Experience. Once you realize the true Self as God Awareness, you'll see that the true Self has nothing to do with Thought or Experience i.e., Incarnation. I include this realization in my definition of Stage Coral. Coral realizes the illusion of Experience fully as well as the illusion of Thought. Turquoise doesn't really use the word 'illusion' much because they have to maintain Ego in their reality in several different ways. In fact, Turquoise starting to take the issue of illusion seriously is their gateway to Coral. The problem is, Maya has to die for this to happen, which is traumatic, or at least it was for me. You're gonna have a real mindf*ck when you realize that Maya in all of its manifestations (not just the Egoic self but also Other Beings) is a literal illusion. It sent me to my second Dark Night of the Soul actually. My first Dark Night of the Soul was when I realized the Egoic self is not my true Self. The first one happened much earlier on than the second one, which was recent. Once I started to take illusion seriously, Turquoise started to break down for me. Turquoise is still very much attached to Ego, especially helping others and trying to make a big helpful impact on reality. That's not to say Coral doesn't teach or try to help, but they're not attached to it like Turquoise is. Coral realizes that the illusory Egoic self is gonna do whatever it wants to, but you don't wanna cling to that. God Awareness doesn't cling to Ego a.k.a. illusory Maya. -

Samsara is a maze for sure. You wanna be the Egoic self who finds his or her way out of Samsara a.k.a. Hell a.k.a. Maya a.k.a. Ego. When you do this, the Egoic self dies and the true Self is born. Of course this is a bit incorrect because the true Self is always there, but full awareness of the true Self is not always there. God Awareness is the true Self, which is always there but not always fully realized. The Egoic self is just one among many manifestations of an unrealized God Awareness a.k.a. unrealized true Self. -

Good job. That's a great awakening to have. But it's just a start. I recall when I had a similar awakening experience to yours. You'll have further awakenings, but the one you had there is a deep one for sure. You have plenty of work yet to do with Enlightenment because there are still a lot of beliefs that you have that you need to examine. You're gonna have to start to deconstruct Ego so eventually you can see through it. Also, you should be meditating everyday and being super mindful of everything around you. Start to question all your beliefs and your experience. Don't forget Experience, you gotta question Experience as well as Thought -- a lot of people miss questioning Experience. Start to see what's really there and what the Mind sort of takes to be there. There's a gap there that you need to have the mindfulness to see. Start to see for yourself what Ego is. Ask yourself, 'What's real?'a lot, not in some philosophical way, but by looking at your actual Experience. Ask yourself, 'What's real here and what is illusion?' Start to try to see the difference between the Egoic self and the true Self. And then eventually, you'll start to see the distinction between the true Self and illusory Maya. -

Do nothing meditation. I don't sit in any special way, I just lay in bed and close my eyes. When I was first starting out I really benefited from Mindfulness meditation. I don't really do mindfulness meditation anymore because I'm pretty much always mindful. But I think mindfulness meditation is great for building up mindfulness which will benefit your enlightenment. Mindfulness is like a muscle, the more you work on it the more your mindfulness set-point will start to creep upward, so you'll begin to have mindfulness without even trying to be mindful. That's basically what Enlightenment is -- keen mindfulness without even trying to be mindful. You need keen mindfulness to be able to flatten the illusion of Maya without even trying to. -

Meditation is #1 for me. I just meditated for 2 hours. -

There is only one true perspective, the perspective of God Awareness. All other perspectives are Egoic and illusory including the perspective of the Egoic self as well as the perspectives of Other Beings. -

This is a good example of Experience. Just the imagery. Can you separate Thought and Experience when you look at this? Flatten the illusion to see Experience. Video on point: -

Ego is also clinging to Experience not just to Thought. Almost nobody ever mentions the Experience element of Maya. -
Joseph Maynor replied to Slifon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Because Thinking is not enough to rid yourself of Ego. You need to see that Ego is an illusion, and that goes way beyond thinking. A lot of people don’t want to flatten the illusion or see through the illusion because they cling to the illusion. That’s what Ego is — clinging to the illusion. All the thinking in the world cannot replace seeing. Thinking can only tee you up for seeing. -
