  1. I'm still not sure what Kundalini is. Maybe mine has awoken but I had no name for it.
  2. Yep. And when you transcend the Mind you'll find absolute joy in just being. You won't need to strive for anything other than the most basic, pragmatic kinds of needs of your own life. It's a liberation from the Ego and from the Mind.
  3. In what sense do you want to escape from society or the system?
  4. Probably Zen. But I don't want to make this sound like Zen is the be-all-end-all. It's just a really great tool for transcending the Mind. https://terebess.hu/zen/mesterek/Suzuki-DT-Introduction-Zen-Buddhism.pdf
  5. What is Enlightenment? Make paper airplane and throw off roof. Now that's a koan.
  6. What is meaning of life? Throws water at face. Now go wipe it off. I totally understand these kinds of koans now. Well, "understand" is the wrong word too. That's important to note.
  7. I get this now. Love it. What is the meaning of life? let's have a cup of tea. What is the nature of the Self? Grab this wooden staff. How do I become Enlightened? Clean this porch spick and span. What is the nature of reality? Make me a sandwich. Zen.
  8. I'm careful with that metaphysical word "illusion", I don't really use it in my practice.
  9. I see Enlightenment as a three prong exercise: Discovering being and realizing that thoughts lay on top of being; (being is in the now) Understanding and seeing your own Ego-Mind clearly; (this includes Ego and Mind separately and how they work together) Transcending your own Ego-Mind; (imagine watching the Ego-Mind from a corner in the room instead of being trapped within it)
  10. Well we all know what it's like to be trapped in the Ego-Mind. So, imagine watching the Ego-Mind from a corner in the room instead of being trapped within it. It's like being able to see a mechanism for what it is that you were formerly not conscious of.
  11. No. Transcendence just means that you clearly see the Mind and Ego for what they are. Once you see them for what they are, they can trap you less. If you had to cross a minefield and you knew where most of the mines were, you would end up less maimed on the other side.
  12. No, Monkey Mind is caused by you not transcending the Mind or you going through some trauma that threatens the Ego which causes the Mind (which is an agent of the Ego) to freak-out.
  13. I was thinking more of the chin of the "creature" resembling a bunny, but who's to say haha.
  14. I'm still trying to figure out where the hell he got bunny from that creature. That's weird.
  15. I really resonate with Zen which is really helping me to transcend the Mind.
  16. Bunnyfishsquid lol. I actually like that. It fits in a twisted kind of way.
  17. Roughly but not entirely, the Mind is an agent of the Ego. This means that the Mind is looking out for the interests of the Ego. An agent is like a servant, an employee, a hired-hand. This is why transcendence of the Ego-Mind, or the Ego and the Mind, go together like ham and eggs. You must transcend the Mind as well as the Ego or it doesn't work.
  18. Well, yeah, you're gonna be bamboozled by the Mind at first, but you'll see through the Mind more and more.
  19. Mind is great when you're not unwittenly caught up in it. It's being bamboozled by the Mind that's the issue.
