  1. I've gotten to the point where I don't even label it as 'truth' anymore. To me, that's still the Mind clinging to trying to classify it. But I understand that there are many people who would disagree with me over this point because I've discussed it ad nauseum with them here on the Forum. People love clinging to truth. Truth, truth, truth. Gotsta have me some truth! And it's always with a capital T too -- Truth. Sounds like God in disguise to me lol. But anyway, I don't want to start a fight. I can see the pitchforks starting to raise and the bonfire being lit.
  2. Here's a Koan I wrote a few days ago: What is Enlightenment? Make paper airplane and throw off roof.
  3. Does this advice apply to you too? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, no? What a thing to say without knowing anything about this person.
  4. There is a sense in which when you objectify things in videos and writing that it helps solidify it for you. The same principle applies when you talk to a friend or family member about a problem to find out how you feel about it. Just putting things into words made something stick for you that you didn't possess before. My Journals function the same way for me as I'm sure Leo's videos do for him. It's like a catalyst for growth.
  5. I think you're confusing yourself by needing something to be aware. You're just adding layers of conception over being with your metaphysical beliefs.
  6. What is does not announce that it is. Only mouths announce that something is. Blah blah blah, or maybe some kind of physical gesture like pointing and nodding, but that has to be understood in some kind of communication protocol.
  7. What is that which notes what is and what happens?
  8. So God designs Himself into other beings? Where did you pick this belief up? And I know you believe you're God as well.
  9. I would say that all suffering is triggered by the Ego-Mind, which is the Ego and the Mind. The Mind mostly but not entirely serves the Ego, so it's useful to lump them together, but it's also useful to think of them as being separate things too depending on the context.
  10. It's not "not knowing" that's the goal, it's transcendence of the Mind. You will know, but you will see the Mind for what it is and what it serves. Of course transcending the Mind will cause a lot of your beliefs to drop away, but you're not clinging to not knowing, that's just another kind of mental clinging.
  11. You should explain what you meant. That's not an unreasonable request. Then we can have a discussion about it here.
  12. What would be it? Do what? What is Enlightenment?
  13. You've caught yourself in your own snare though. Enlightenment is not about belief or about no belief.
  14. What do you believe in? Seems like you just traded in one paradigm for another one.
  15. Trying to be aware can easily impede Do Nothing Meditation. Do Nothing is a much less neurotic kind of noticing.
  16. Yes, but not neurotically. It's more like a noticing rather than a staring-down.
