Cool, I’ll check it out. I’m reading five books simultaneously right now. Does anyone else read multiple books at the same time too? Two of these five books I’m actually re-reading because they are so juicy with wisdom.

The reason you feel stuck or resistance in your life is because the way that your life has randomly fallen-together or turned out the way it has is breaking integrity with your deeper values. Life Purpose is all about discovering your authentic-self and then aligning your career with your authentic-self. This is what creates Excellence in your life. And with Excellence, money comes as a by-product.

@Dan94 I just started Leo’s Life Purpose Course. I’m taking my time with this baby. I feel like I’m doing real personal development work again. I feel highly productive again on this path, like I’m making progress every single day again. I like that feeling.

Nice idea to start, but Life Purpose work is much deeper than this. The only thing deeper is Enlightenment work. But Life Purpose work is much deeper than people think it is. I was surprised to discover this myself.

Science is a subject category, a thought, a general concept, that contains some general principles and properties, and contains some historical baggage too. But the thing I wanna emphasize here is that Science is a cubby-hole, a category, a thought. Science doesn't exist in the same way that a rock exists. We make too much of Science. It is a piece of cultural baggage that we inherited. Forget about Science and just focus on whether the piece of knowledge at issue is credible or not in the given context. Science is by-passable, it is not a mandatory category. Focus on whether or not the piece of knowledge at issue is credible rather than whether or not it is Science. Think of Knowledge as being like a grab-bag of concepts, heuristics, principles, and tools that you carry around with you because you feel like they might come in handy to solve future problems. Stop thinking of Knowledge as needing to be true. Stop thinking of Science as needing to be true. Those are Mind traps. -

@ADD I can be fooled too though. I can be pretty easily fooled when someone pretends that they like me. Then I drop my guard. I like to have my guard down, so once I drop it I can be vulnerable. But when my guard is up, I can see almost anything 5 seconds before anyone else can. I have the Eagle-Eye haha. -

@ADD I don't see anything visual though. It's more of an inner-sense. Like being able to read people quickly. It's keen intuition, one of my strengths. I've always had it. -

I feel vibes from people. I have almost a sixth sense where I can read people pretty well from a vibe standpoint. My intuition is very keen. -
Lie still on the ground, high in the mountains, look-up at the seas of stars and the spotlights of moons, surrounded by a serenades of crickets, and the hushed sounds of rustling winds on far-away trees.

Yes and no. But even people who have the seeds of talent don't nurture them well and they don't grow well. Even if someone doesn't have a talent, if their work-ethic and passion is there they can still become great. The best strategy is if you find a talent, also work it hard. Never let the limiting-belief of not having a talent hold you back. If you do find a talent, nurture it. If you don't find a talent, forget about finding one and create one instead.

@Shin I love Bob Ross. I like how he teaches techniques and concepts. There are so many techniques to painting. -
To me Qi is harmonization with the Tao, where you can also feel the forward flow of the Tao too. Qi is flow basically. It's a more conscious flow though. You are surrendering to the Tao. Basically you are becoming one with Nature. Don't take that too materialistically though. You are becoming one with the Source. You are letting the Source flow through you.

Why do we need to label reality at all? -
Another unsolicited piece of advice. Don’t get distracted by glitzy visuals. Keep the focus on the content. Visuals are nice but kinda shallow too. I’m not saying this applies to the new video, but just keep this in mind. I have no problem with the oldest videos that are chalk-full of content but have worse “quality” standards. Don’t get so focused on the sizzle that you forget about the steak. That’s a trap. If you’re gonna change things up, I would suggest another route. This also screws up the audios for people who like to listen to these lectures as MP3s. I like the fact that the videos can be listened to as audios without any loss of content.

We gotta keep our eye on the ball, which is — Personal Development. Realize that the Mind will look for any way to distract itself from doing this work — including distracting itself with sexy theories. How do I know this? — because I’ve been a victim of this my whole life too, until recently. Theory can be wholesome, the problem is that the Mind tricks you into thinking entertaining theory is doing real Personal Development work. It might be, but it's not always. Theory can be the best tool but also the worst trap in this work. You gotta develop the awareness to see this clearly or it will stall you in this work. Remember — the Mind can be a sneaky bastard! It will justify every distraction in the moment — so you gotta have the keen-awareness to be able to see through its rationalizations about why such and such is good or bad in the moment. -

Find your authentic-self and then clarify a life purpose that inspires you. -
You might want to move beyond the YouTube world eventually. It’s great for Marketing, but you could do so much more with your career too.

I’ve never found one of Leo’s videos to be too basic. The basic is the hard and the high-theory is the easy in this work. The high-theory stuff pleases the Mind — but remember we are seeking personal development not to masturbate the Mind. The basic stuff is the hard stuff in this work. It’s the high-theory stuff that’s easy. The intellectually-prone person needs to be aware of this trap. You wanted a paradox to thrill the Mind — you just got one! We gotta keep our eye on the ball in Personal Development. So, what’s the overarching theme for determining relevance in this work? Here’s a test: How does this product or service serve my Personal Development customer to take another step forward on their path. See? That’s called alignment with your customer’s needs and putting those needs first. I’m not saying Leo isn’t doing this by the way, I’m just sharing some thoughts here for those who they might resonate with. I have a lot of experience as an Entrepreneur myself. You don’t want that alignment with your customer’s needs to ever get cloudy. That will handicap and stunt your business. It’s the little things that are the big things in business. The intellectual’s response is: well, duh! But see —you gotta live that principle. It sounds banal when read, sure— but it’s not meant to excite the Mind, it’s meant to be lived. The Mind is bored by this though and wants more sexy theory to distract itself with. Just be mindful of this trap. Here, I’ll name it — let’s call it the Mental-Masturbation Distraction Trap.

It’s not dropping all thoughts and concepts — in fact you want to continue to amass thoughts and concepts. Awareness is seeing the thoughts and concepts for what they are. That causes a release of traps and suffering. Thoughts and concepts are only harmful if you cling to the limiting-belief that they are. -
Joseph Maynor replied to TylerW's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TylerW You must have the belief that you were hurt or wronged by people. -
Write down the concept you will be contemplating. E.g., Truth or Awake or Mind or Awareness or Being, etc. Make sure you know what it is that you’re contemplating about. That’s how you make progress. You’re wiring-in awareness. You don’t wanna be off-track not having a particular goal in mind. I wouldn’t say that’s wasted time, it’s just not focused time. We wanna be focused — like a fire-hose delivering a lot of water to a very specific region, rather than being like rain which covers everything but has no real targeted effect. Be more like a fire-hose than rain! Haha.

It gets rid of the problems that are caused by clinging to the Ego. A lot of suffering will get released.

Part of the job of a good communicator is to make it as easy and intuitive as possible for your customers to access and navigate your work. Make a capsule outline of the videos. Always keep your eye on your customer and their needs. That’s what business is all about. Think from your customer’s perspective always. What can I do to provide more true-value (not apparent-value) to my customer? Frame that and hang that on your wall. That’s the most important principle of business. Shit, I’d even be down to write this outline myself. I’ve watched all Leo’s videos three-times over. Every one of them is high-quality and valuable. And you better believe that’s why I advanced so quickly in this work. What you work on is what you improve. There’s wisdom in them thar hills! Get yer hiking boots laced-up and let’s go explore! Got yer map, yer compass, yer bug spray? See? Leo — think in terms of the recruit who is gonna go on this journey. What tools could they use to make this journey easier and more efficient for them? What could you slip into their backpack that would assist them on their journey? Video on Point to Watch:
-
I wonder if anyone watched all the videos like I did. See, I was fortunate to be following Leo since 2014 and I have watched each video when it came out. I feel like people want to be spoon-fed this stuff, but all the answers are encased in those videos! And there is very little overlap except for the Enlightenment videos. At this point it might be better to do an Enlightenment Course rather than releasing more Enlightenment videos. Another tool might be a chart that maps all the videos so people can navigate all that. Sell that chart for 20 bucks. The chart would summarize all the videos and put them in relation to the other videos. That would help people navigate the mountain that these videos have become. You gotta give your explorers a map.

Assertiveness. You gotta be tough, focused, driven, and assertive to be successful as an entrepreneur. Women have this in them too just like men do. It’s funny, a talented women is so much more capable than a man in business. I’ve seen it. Once women lose their fears and timidity, they really become amazing in business. I could give you examples of this. My office is in a Center with other entrepreneurs in downtown San Francisco. Some of the very best entrepreneurs I’ve seen over the years in my Center are strong, assertive women. They’re great with relationships too in a way that most men kinda suck at.
