  1. @Javfly33 I get what you are saying and i dont think you are making a mistake like other people commenting before me. I dont know for sure if that is what you need to do, all im saying is that i understand you and i think it makes sense. For anyone interested Alan Watts has a series of lectures that carries a really similar message as this post. One of my favorites too. https://archive.org/details/alan-watts-out-mind
  2. Very interesting. I would say this wont be a thing in the next 60-70 years yet though. This is an uneducated guess. That would potentially kill the gaming industry, no ? Interesting facts with ChatGPT: Gaming is currently the biggest sector in the entertainment industry. Over the past decade, the gaming industry has experienced tremendous growth, outpacing traditional entertainment sectors like movies and music in terms of revenue. bla bla bla In summary, gaming is not only the largest but also the fastest-growing segment of the entertainment industry, driven by its global reach, diverse audience, and innovative monetization strategies.
  3. @Ishanga Have you seen the video Leo posted on he's blog about Ekajivavada ? Interesting stuff.
  4. If i remember correctly, Sri Ramana Maharshi had an experience which he described as a memory from a past life. Now if that guy was a bullshitter, that would be really surprising for me. With that being said, enlightenment does not give you a > know everything, right about everything < card. For me, i dont even know what is an enlightened person mean. As long as you have to function as a human, you still have to apply survival mechanics and navigate being part of a society. Also it seems like to me that, enlightenment can be a gateway to spiritual knowledge it does not give you omniscience or atleast not in a way we would imagine. Im already starting to confuse myself as im writing this lol. Anyway... Regarding Sadhguru, he chose a style of communication that would reach the most people possible. He speaks to the materialisticly minded, as well as the religiously involved people. Its a shame he will never be able to talk to us like Leo does, because he seems to possess deep understanding of things. By the way, remember when he talked about Aliens on the Joe Rogan podcast ? Fucking mental!
  5. I thought this happened just yesterday, but i read the date wrong. The article was Published on 26/03/2024. Btw i just copied the whole article here, i dont know how ethical that is, but the link is also there. Here is what ChatGPT said which is a bit shorter: Yes, researchers have recently made a breakthrough that could significantly increase internet speeds. A team of scientists from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden set a new world record for data transmission by sending 1.84 petabits per second through a single optical fiber. To put that into perspective, this speed is almost a million times faster than the fastest home internet connections available today. This incredible speed was achieved by using a special chip called a frequency comb, which allowed the researchers to divide the light in the fiber into many different colors (frequencies) and transmit data on each one simultaneously. This method dramatically increases the amount of data that can be sent over a single fiber, paving the way for potentially revolutionary improvements in internet infrastructure. Theoretically, with speeds like this, the entire internet could be downloaded in just a few seconds. However, it will likely take years before this technology is adapted for commercial use.
  6. I just thought that summarizes nicely what i know about post-modernism. So people with a post-modern worldview would probably fall into the category of post-conventional development or there is not that strong correlation there ? There is also that people can have different level of understandings in different topics. Its not easy to have a nuanced opinion about every topic even if you have the right mindset. Thats why being aware of self deception is so important
  7. Meaning is based on the context. Where would that fit here again ? 4/5 or 5/6
  8. Another Genius. You can tell from the way he is speaking he does not only have intellectual knowledge, but a deep understanding. Makes me wonder how many of these guys are around.
  9. Im going to be honest and say that this whole thing is beyond me. Its true that I never experienced any other consiousness other than mine. But there are supposed to be people who see others auras ? Can work with others consciousness ? Etc this type of stuff. Now that i think about it that would not necessarily be contradictory either....(?) And of course Leo would come and say: "You never experienced other people. Other people exist only in your mind" And also i feel like this is outside the realm of logic so without a direct experience we are like ants trying to solve calculus. Still makes interesting conversation though, even with how clueless i am.
  10. Wiki says: "conceptualization of the world through language and concepts which can then be a cause for suffering to arise." Thats genius.
  11. Psychedelics are not for everyone and thats okay. Its definitely not the only way forward either. Your Buddhist friend seems like a wise person. Meditation is a whole other talk. I find yoga fascinating too. Thanks for mentioning prapanca, that was interesting to read!
  12. 1. Only Leo can speak of Leo's view truthfully. 2. The subject of your question is consciousness, which will always be problematic to talk about. The logic what humans use to think and communicate is based on making distinctions. By saying that the apple is red, you imply its not blue or orange. You cannot apply logic to Infinity, because it has all the colors. Ultimately you will never be able to communicate Truth. Which does not mean that you cannot be skillful at pointing at it, or that all models of reality are equally accurate, but it will always be inherently flawed. This is just something you have to keep in mind. 3. Here is what ChatGPT said about eka-jiva-vada: At first glance the ideas are similar, but you could probably point out some differences in the communication of them, which will lead to meaningful differences of interpretation or not. An easy mistake is taking things literally. Here is an example. ChatGPT said: "Essentially, the entire universe and all other beings are perceived by this one jīva within its own consciousness." Whereas Leo would say consciousness IS all there is. See the difference? Is it meaningful or just difference in communication ? You can take something like the exceprt above and apply logic to it and you can dissect it infinitely and get lost doing it. Thats where Leo would say to take 5-MeO and see for yourself. 4. Leo's approach to solipsism is based on direct experience. Basically it says that you cant experience any other coinscousness other than yours. Which would be compatible with the idea of nonduality. But for me it seems like solipsism has more implications to it ? This is where my knowledge ends for now. So the main take here is you cant "understand" consciousness with logic. Logic is for pragmatic matters and communication.
  13. Intelligence is another aspect of God, just like love is. Leo has a video called Infinite Intelligence, which explains it nicely. Let me add to the questions: Every finite thing has to end. Why is reincarnation a thing in many religious traditions? Do we have a soul that lasts longer than our bodies? Why? How did people experience this? Ofc the soul has to end too since it's a finite thing. Why not just end with the body? There has to be a reason why did they think this? Opposite to popular belief, they did not Just come up with things out of their asses. Not with something so fundamental as this.
  14. Definitely check your weed habit. If it is interfering with your productivity, you are smoking too much. One does not need to be high all day, every day. Fuck Whiz Khalifa.
  15. Leo became so confused, it happened in German
  16. One of my favorite artists. Nice video!
  17. I'll give it another shot then.
  18. I was just saying what a good show this was, when i started the first episode of season 4.... And i just cant help but feel like they ruined it. Is it going to be like this the whole season ? Frenchie's new romance just throws out everything that happend so far between him and Kimiko... and it is just out of nowhere for no apparent reason other than putting diversity into the show... they are using the same formula as before for every season, which is not only starting to get a bit old, but this time there is zero intricacy in it. we had corporate politics before and this kind of shit, now homelander just orders the Deep to blow A-Train and then they have to beat people to death, because thats part of the plan of a super intelligent supe somehow.... the new plot is homelander getting aided by a supe who is super intelligent ? did the even try coming up with something interesting ? But maybe its just the first episode and its going to get better ?
  19. Yes, losing virginity is pretty much meaningless once you are through it. With that being said, the solution for OP's problem is still getting competent in he's dating life.
  20. @Emotionalmosquito Im pretty sure you have to go through each stage anyway, its just that some people will get to green in their teenage years, while others are stuck with a blue core in their whole life. My understanding is again mostly based on what i learned from Leo. What we are talking about here is the development of self identity and how we relate to the world. So you start off as an infant, with no sense of self at all. Then at some point you will have the realisation that there is you and there are others. Then as your competence grows in childhood so will your sense of identity develop too. Your parents will expect you to behave in a certain way, you get introduced to society, you get more responsibilities in life, and so on. These are soft limitations on your development, meaning they are supposed to be aligned with your cognitive competence and can be done in a wildly different pace and quality, BUT you cant skip them. Hard limitations of your self identity is your body and mind. I would imagine an alien who does not have to eat and can heal itself has a totally different way of relating to the world as we do. So does a yogi who tears down he's sense of separation from the world. If we are to develop our culture it is vital to understand these concepts, but thats a different post. (I already spent like an hour just to articulate this much... This is why Leo is a genius)
  21. I'm addressing you wanting to give up life here. That hopelessness what you feel is exactly what you need. Feel into it. You are fucked beyond redemption, so just give up. BUT GIVE UP COMPLETELY! Fuck it all. Give up doing ANYTHING anymore for the sake of this futile existence. Go into it more and more like this. Eventually you realize nothing will satisfy you in life. Fulfilling your needs won't make the suffering go away either. You are just delaying the inevitable. So just give them up too. Get rid of all your "wants" and needs. If you go into it deep enough that will include the need of ending life too. Then realise how useless thinking is. It never helped you! No thought is worthy of existence. So same as everything else, just give up thinking. JUST. GIVE. UP. Now all you have is your breath and sensory perceptions. This is your meditation. Welcome to spirituality 😉
  22. Don't forget that they have to go trough their own development. Like in spiral development, one has to explore each stage and most people do this unconsciously. They can go through it rather quickly, especially if you will be present in their lives and do a good job at providing a good background for them. Kid's are like sponge, they are going to learn through osmosis and one highly conscious parent is already a blessing. You can stand guard and make sure they are not stuck in any major traps in life, but you cant guarantee they will be interested in consciousness work. Most people are not interested in meditation etc. What you can do is being in the present when they are around, just cultivate presence in them, Eckhart Tolle style. Leo has a video, "How to raise Rockstar kids" I think everything I would have to say is said there. And then you can worry about their spiritual development when they are grown ups. I also have to admit I don't know what I'm talking about, this is just my opinion.
  23. Yes, I would be interested. Fuck yeah
  24. So I just wanted to make an update because I talked shit... I like the new album and I even like Tobey after listening to it with proper headphones.
