  1. I believe there is a difference between being aware of yourself and being mindful. My definition of mindfulness is when you watch your behavior from the third person perspective without having strong emotional bond on your actions, while awareness is being in the present moment. Maybe I didn't get it, but that's how I see It right now. Then I found this trick when I pretend to be in a movie, suddenly, social anxiety disappears and I stop taking myself and my actions too seriously - Its just a movie(Its just a life). Also, I watch myself doing things and its quite fun as long as I do that thing. So my question is: Is this OK? Is it helpful or is it a trap?
  2. A few days ago I've been wandering through YT and I found myself watching dozens of TEDx videos about breathwork, pranayama yoga and mindfulness. I got so inspired by these people and their stories so I started to pay attention to my breath more often(started to meditate but still didnt turn it into a habit), I started to notice how more relaxed and grounded I am, now, every afternoon I sit in my garden and I just breathe for a long time(according to beginner). I want to take a step further, but the problem is, I dont know how. Every video I found on yt is some crazy indian talking in sanskrit with low quality camera. Non of the TEDx guys were talking how they actually do it, so my question is: Is there any source I can learn a first step and start practicing pranayama more seriously, or I need to go to India(right now, no way)?
  3. I assumed that would be brought up, and its not a problem for me.
  4. I am a patriot, but my own kind. I am proud of my race, nation, history, ancestors, and I think every human on planet should be, therefore he should not be ashamed of it. Yet people think patriotism is linked with racism and xenophobia just because people who are so called patriots are often racist and xenophobes, and also hypocrites(like in my case), It does not mean patriotism is a bad thing.
  5. So this might seem to be very deep topic but it is something what bothers me a lot. I'd like to talk about how much is actually human brain capable of achieving, we often hear 'there are no limits' or we can do whatever we want, whatever we think, but is it really so? Sorry for me sounding silly but I ask this beacause I've been having this condition where my chest are sunken and it looks really bad, and Iam really interested is it possible for me(a.k.a human) to 'correct' this in to a normal shaped chest. I know this is dumb question but Im getting desperate, so besides my chest Its also a question about human potential and limits. Thanks.
