  1. Hi there, Short introduction about myself : I have been on the spiritual path for about 2 years. My path is mostly focused on yoga, awareness and meditation. Leo's videos has indeed changed my life perspective. I have had many nonduality experiences, some short and some that lasted months. Recently I had my very first out of body experience. I have felt completely oneness before, which was very different of an OBE. So there I was.. lying down with headphones listening to binaural beats, my body just started moving accordinly to the wave of the beat - starting at 285hz. Slowly I realized I wasn't feeling my body, but the energy only. After about 40 minutes I thought I was feeling pain on my arm but then when I looked to it my arm wasnt there, not at the same level where I was... it was just a strong heavy wave of energy. Eventually I came back and with difficulty I puy my arms safely down behind my ears. I started leaving again, and felt a strong heavy wave of energy on what would be my face and it was similar to what I had experiencied earlier, but more on my face. I stayed on this higher level for about 40 minutes. When I came down I started doing yoga to keep moving the energy I had just experiencied and any time I would stay a few seconds without moving and focusing on my breath I would feel way beyond my body. Seems like I was experiencing a very strong energy field, perhaps much more than what my body can handle. This happened around 12:30pm to 2:30pm. That night I simply coudnt sleep until 5am and kept having the feeling of leaving my body, I felt the energy still strongly moving trough me. When I woke up, I had pain all over my body like I was hit by a truck. Any thoughts? Any advices ? ---- 1. It may sound silly but I didn't know binaural beats were created specifically for this purpose when this happened. I decided to listen to it with the intention to meditate with different sounds, not specifically grasping for a certain experience. 2. This path has way too many traps as Leo often says. I read many books on Leo's book list as well as about other 20 books that I found elsewhere, yet I am still lost on what to do next. Keep working with binaural beats to perhaps open my energy field even if it may be painful ?
  2. @Annetta don't ever forget you are loved and your true nature is love @Dodo we should make an event/conference. I already asked Leo what are his thoughts about it. Never got an answer lol Certainly I would enjoy to meet up people from this forum and some more of Leo's audience, anyone that is interested on self actualization Anyone in Canada btw ?
  3. Oh that's part of my daily practice Thank you for sharing this trip report To me, when triping with psychedelics it dosent seem like there is good or bad at all. It all is. As like there isn't an opposite of "good to know" as "bad to know".
  4. It pretty much depends on your state of mind. Do you ever have anxiety or any kind of emotional disorder ? Does strong negative emotions affect you strongly? Do you know how to deal with them ? There are just base questions. If you are going for this trip with spiritual growth intentions set and ready to deal with whatever happens, then likely you don't need a sitter for the first time if taking only 1g to 2g - wouldn't recommend any more then 2g for the first time anyway. Its important to get the "feeling effect " of the mushroom before going for a high dose. No need to rush either to try a high dose, work your way up. What is that you are scared that might happen during a trip ? Well, The chances of your body dying is nearly zero, as long you don't interpret you are super man and decide you can fly, which is much rare to impossible to happen on a low dose. So what else? It's also important to see the mushroom as a wise teacher, that once in you, will show what is the best that you need to learn and grow, if you fully surrender to it. Which isn't much different then surrendering to the present moment. Set your intentions, but go with no expectation, whatever happens it's there to help you grow And oh, what I always do: Shortly after taking it I start meditating. You may be able to meditate the whole time your triping and it may be the most joyful hours of your entire life yes, even on a small dose. Have an awesome trip
  5. @Echoes hey! It's great to find someone else that read this series! In my opinion he did talk to God aka the universe. I belive that being fully present anyone is able to hear God speaking clearly. In my experiences with God / universe / higher consciousness I had moments where God communicate clearly with me too. And it's funny. The universe has a great sense of humour. I think there are also levels. More meditation and other practices will get us on a higher and higher level. But mainly, it's all about surrendering to the present moment to fully allow God to talk to us, using that very simple language showed on the book.
  6. @TJ Reeves Thank you very much for your insights You pretty much put out what I mostly understand about it. In a way, it's comforting to hear what I already know from someone else It's the final check mark I am progressing. I am very familiar with Martin Ball's work. He is one of my main teachers. However, I came here to see what others may say about the subject, then I analyzed what is valid or not.
  7. So I have been experiencing hallucinations. Sober hallucinations. It isn't anything scary or bad to the point of what my eyes can see, but usually comes with negative energy, which are never fun, but luckily I learned how to deal with it. It appears my mind is frightened of hallucinations, which would explain what triggers the negative energy coming to the surface. The mind has spent its whole life believing that this so and so object are there, and they are real and all of the sudden it isn’t that way anymore. @Leo Gura says : Perception = hallucination Does it mean I am starting to perceive reality as it's ? Anyone else experiencing sober hallucinations? Advices ? @TJ Reeves @Prabhaker @Be Yourself @unknownworld @Afonso @Azrael @Nahm @Martin123 @Outer @Christian @Echoes @egoeimai Guys share your point of view please
  8. Yes you can I did and I truly believe you can too It isn't yes or no answer. There is a lot more to realize about enlightenment. But who knows? Try for yourself On her book she states " enlighten yourself up on this moment, eventually it will all unfold". I can look up the right page if you wish, but I remember there is such a state.
  9. @RossE beautiful words there I realized the more we hold on something we don't to loose, it's exactly what we don't need and loosing it would be a blessing. Basically the more we loose, more we realize the illusion we were living once.
  10. Pychedelics are tools, they help up on the process when used right. The trick part is to not attach to it. It can't do the job to let it go for us. To me all it did was show me clarity on how to let it go. There isn't an easy escape method.
  11. 1. Awareness. Practice of letting go on everything your mind think you are and everything your mind think you know. That was a pretty good start for me
  12. @Echoes @Outer Oh thanks very much for the insights Deeply appreciated. @Nahm I do experience feeling connected to the world very often. Sometimes it's a strong wave of oneness, sometimes is very light, but yet there. Thanks for the meditation tip and for "in for wild rice" ?
  13. @Martin123 @Prabhaker Thank you guys
  14. @cetus56 Great article thanks for sharing. It isn't fully my case, but a few situations mentioned there I can relate. I won't go for traditional medicine treatment or stop psychedelics though lol ?
  15. @Be Yourself My last magic mushroom trip was on May 20th, only 2g dried. Hallucinations has started strongly on May 30th. ( I keep a journal) I do smoke weed more often, once every 2 weeks or so. It helps me to experience reality clearly and meditate deeper.
  16. @cetus56 Thanks for pointing it out I didn't know about flashbacks either. I will certainly look into it. @egoeimai Thanks for saying it anyway @nightrider1435 That's right I have to figure out on my own but I find interesting to hear others point of view and then I evaluate what's is for me or not. Like if I go to the doctor today and tell him that, he will give me a pile of shit medication. Clearly I will not take this way.
  17. Oh ? I never knew the visions could be just an outcome from the psychedelics. Would you say these visions can be an asset for growth ? ?
  18. @nightrider1435 Thank you @unknownworld Thanks for your input too I appreciate any support I can get. 1) During meditation with my eyes closed I have seen tiny white fractals falling from the "big black hole". No feelings or emotions attached to it. 2) Sitting on the couch I have looked up to the celling and it was moving. Similar to what would be if I had eaten magic mushrooms, but I havent. Not for about 4 weeks. 3) I sit down on my bed and look in front of me there is the fan. The fan was there and the next half second is gone, then another second is there again, and it changed forms and sizes. 4) Objects overall change forms and sizes. Sometimes after meditation, sometimes anytime during the day, like at work. 5) Look to the celling or the floor. Isn't moving this time but has another colour ton of the reflection of the light. Like more yellow-ish or darker then what used to be. I don't find any of this scary, but I am having a hard time to recognize myself in them ?
  19. Pretty nice list @Dan Arnautu The Theory of Everything and Schindler's List are also impactful movies for me Hollywood movies : Collateral Beauty - The profound connection we all have Dead Poets Society - Seize the day and be yourself, not what society expects us to be! A Quiet Passion - What was she searching for? What was she writing about ? Into The wild - What was he searching for ? Kung Fu Panda (1,2,3) - Poo' s path to enlightenment along with many Buddhist teachings Eat, pray, love - Realizing the external won't be enough, and sometimes all it takes to know yourself is to leave your comfort zone and what you thought you needed. Vicky Cristina Barcelona - a different point of view on what love is Alice in wonderland - Nothing is impossible. Did Lewis Caroll know that we are living in dream ? The Shawshank Redemption - How much can you handle to be alive? What's the worst that can happen to you and how do you react ? YouTube documentaries: Samadhi movie - Maya, the illusion of the self The sacred geometry movie The reality of truth Inner world outer world Many enlightened beings speech Leo's videos
  20. Very interesting conversation going on here @AstralProjection Psychedelics when used on the right setting and circumstances will allow our true nature to be clearly perceived. That's what Leo has experienced
  21. Whenever I can, I spend hours lying on the sand beach observing the stars, galaxies and planets. Recently, I had an experience that may be interesting to you. After a few hours contemplating the amazing sky, I had strong waves of pure unconditional love for the planet, for my surroundings and consequently it extended to all the beings. I became one with the stars and they all belong to me as I belong to them. Where I live the clear sky can barely be watched most time of the year. Maybe is time to a big move ?
  22. One that has never felt the ocean breeze...He lives in a dark room, without any window and decide to read as many books as he finds about it, watch videos, self inquiry and contemplate. Eventually he will be closer to 'get' it, but certainly during the search he will move out of dark room and live where at least there is a window where he can see what the wind may look like. And thats just the wind that he sees, not the ocean breeze. If not by direct experience it will be unknown. Language is very limited. There just so much that can be said. Or so, thats what I found for myself If you have questions, I suggest to inquiry about your loops - thing. Eventually you may become the Truth as simple and complicated as it gets
  23. The key is to reconize the form of happiness and satisfaction the ego seeks. Or so I found it for myself
  24. @PretentiousHuman Just need to practice it and be patient with the results
