  1. @cetus56 I dont know if its starvation because after you hyperventilate you can go for a while without air. But its probably something along those lines, you are right it doesnt feel healthy to me but it was worth a try. However, worst case I think you probably pass out and thats it.
  2. Every time I did holotropic breathwork I mostly just felt numbness and a certain effect but nothing psychedelic or any kind of emotiona release in any way so I tried to combine it with Wim Hof. Basically I made my room completely dark and did 20 mins of holotropic breahting with shamanic drumming music. Everybody who knows the Wim Hof method knows that it starts basicall out with 30 cycles of holotropic breathing. So after 20 minutes I just let the last breath out and stopped breathing and immediately a very psychedelic feeling came over me. It instantly reminded me of LSD, I saw colors on my ceiling and my body felt unreal due to the numbness. I lied there for about 10 minutes, my mind went crazy and then it got a bit scary and I opened my window and got up. I dont know how safe that is but its the most psychedelic experience I had without using drugs.
  3. Absolutely zero, I use mainly tinder but I gave basically every other app out there a try. Been playing around with different photos and descriptions for about 5 years now and nothing to show for it, huge waste of time.
  4. try a little longer every time you will get used to the feeling.
  5. @Moreira I cant talk about high doses that would put you in a k-hole (basically make you pass out) but on lower doses there are no colorful patterns or hallucinations. Your vision is affected and things trace a bit if you look around but thats about it visually. Try it if you can, its worth an experience and not that harmful - recreational doses are way lower than what you would get from a doctor during anesthesia. There is a psychological addiction potential and heavy use will give you serious bladder problems. Its best snorted in small doses with at least 20min between them so you can stop when its too much. Lasts about an hour. It does not have much spiritual potential and is not a true psychedelic.
  6. Emotions part 1 is old and part 2 never came, and I think its time for a new video on emotions that covers everyting from the ground up with Leos new insights. Would be a nice practical refreshment between all the deep videos too.
  7. i dont know about the spiritual stuff but I think quitting porn is never a bad idea.
  8. @John Iverson I actually opened up my copy of the sedona method and read the part about resistance and it seems like something completely different. Its about resisting doing certain things (learning, working on a project) and not about resisting emotions.
  9. The Blackpill/Incel ideology https://www.reddit.com/r/braincels All they do is cherry picking social media posts from single women confirming their ideology. Also, I think spiral dynamics itself is an ideology.
  10. A question for the people on this forum who are further with this work and had some awakenings. Is every bad thing, like a breakup, getting cheated on, or becoming sick happening because the universe/god wants to teach you a lesson, or to grow yourself? When you are a materialist the world is a cruel place where your life can be a string of bad luck and its all just because some soulless atoms arranged in a random way. The further I go into spirituality the more I intuit that there is a reason behind all the bad emotions I feel. Of course its nicer to think about it that way but the big question is - is it true? I might also be deluding myself like a fundamental christian who is happy 24 hours a day because he thinks heaven is waiting for him.
  11. @see_on_see this is very true but its easy for me of going into a spiral of thinking like "why me?", "its completely pointless that this emotional pain is happening to me" "im suffering for nothing" "everybody else has it easy by pure luck" and stuff like that. Especially in the morning after waking up things often seem pointless and hopeless, it usually clears up a bit during the day.
  12. @Recursoinominado thanks a lot this is exactly what I talked about.
  13. I know good and bad are just meaning that are attached, but are you life events still happening for a reason? This goes more into stuff like reincarnation. Does anybody here know more about it?
  14. Are wim hof and holotopic breathwork just different techniques with the same goal / mechanism of work? Whats the connection to yoga for both of these techniques? Also, is it a good idea to combine these kind of breathing techniques like yoga/wim hof/breahtwork, or should you only do one or the other?
  15. How do you guys know how to stack all these different techniques? Is the more you do the better a general principal. I mean wim hof + yoga + meditation is probably too much for most people to do daily.
  16. @Rinne he said he wouldnt be suprpised if leviation is possible, doubt he is levitating at home lol. What you are talking about are siddhis and as far as I know they require high levels of enlightenment and you have to work actively towards these abilities. I dont know if its all bullshit or not.
  17. @DrMobius You are right of course but I just could never wrap my head around this issue.
  18. @Leo Gura What about this analogy. What if you watch the Matrix with the thought in the back of your head that Neo is getting more and more psychotic and deluded the longer the movie runs, There is no bigger reality he ever wakes up to. Or what if the premise is still true and this bigger reality exists but Neo never awakens and just becomes more and more insane while still being inside the matrix? How would you ever know the difference from Neos perspective?
  19. @MrDmitriiV nobody said you should go for Kriya Yoga and its the only way. Its also not something that replaces your meditation or self inquiry. Its just an additional technique, try it out and see for yourself or just ignore it. Leo just picked Kriya and tells us what his experiences were, so most people here will probably look into it too. Some might choose another school of yoga or dont start with it at all. Whats the big problem here really? All of Yoga and Meditation basically boils down to quieting the mind. Either it does that for you or it doesnt.
  20. @MrDmitriiV I understand where you are coming from and I'm still 30% in the same boat but I'm a bit further than you, here are some things that will hopefully help you. 1. Look at Wim Hof, he does supernatural stuff through yoga exercises so it cant be complete bullshit. 2. There are findings in neuroscience that the brains of Yoga practitioners are different. 3. Dont think of chakras as physical things that either exist or not. Think of them as helpful concepts. Does a rectangle "exist"?
  21. @Arkandeus I guess you are right that they cant expect me not to make a move when they come over alone, I never looked at it that way - thanks a lot. The narrative I had in my head was that they saw me as some kind of asexual being and are then shocked when I make a move as if I were their brother or something. But it makes more sense that they would think of it the way you said, they cant be that clueless. In the end it probably really boils down to a confidence issue.
  22. I recognised a pattern in my life. Its comical how it always plays out like that. 1. I meet a girl and befried her, we start texting a lot, she texts me too 2. She comes to my flat alone and even though she never flirted with me I think thats it, I have to make a move now or its platonic forever 3. I lay my arm around her or hold her hand, she usually doesnt react and acts like it doesnt happen. 4. I accept my rejection, but stay optimistic thinking at least I showed her I want to be more than friends. 5. Shortly after I get the news that she started something with one of my good looking friends. 6. Contact slowsly fizzles out. This exact thing happened now 7 times to me already. I'm almost 30. Any suggestions? I'm starting to think about not making a move anymore unless I get really obvious signals. I dont know if I fucked up by being to dominant but my guess is that I never had a chance from the beginning.
  23. @Arkandeus thanks for the good advice. I guess it becomes easier once you have positive experiences you can built your confidence on. If something I did ever worked I would go in with a "I do it this way and screw her if she doesnt like it" mindset too. But the situation I've been in for the last 10 years is just a mixture of feeling lost, confused and hopeless with women.
