It wasn't "bad" at all. Hoewever, it was a mantra meditation given to me to do for 40 days. Thats when I should have stopped with it. I carried it into a 1000 days- thing without consulting someone with more understanding of what exactly I was reciting. These were very powerful words. Basically I just bit off more than I could chew. -

I did certainly rise enough of it to be barely able to handle it. But I did. In short: I did a 1000 days-practice which I should not have (I'll be much more careful of what I will be chosing doing long-term next time), and one day (going on day 600 or so) I felt something like an earthquake in me. The very next day something inside me told me to STOP this meditation practice immediately. I did not want to do that because I was committed to this 1000 days but I listened because this voice was so strong. In hindsight I don't think I would have survived it had I continued. It was a disaster anyway: It lead to a severly depressed phase, me leaving my husband, being suicidal during the depressed phase, me having to take a med (meaning by that time I did not care at all anymore), me chasing some frogs and making some extremely unwise decisions which later cost me my career (thank god though). I had to stop my yogapractice for half a year....I probably could go on but be assured it was not pretty. I got out of it but more than 2.5 years later I'm still dealing with the aftermath of it. I don't wish these years I had to go through on anyone BUT...the big BUT: I'm a happier person today. -
a trip to Vegas ....

I'd say you are on a very good path already when this doesn't throw you in a victim mood! Keep going:)

@Leo Gura Come to Switzerland anyway, I will pay for the flight and find a nice place for you to be hosted. Swiss people surely do need to hear your concepts.

This has been asked a thousand times by now You could look up the other threads, or you could consider the following: The question is posed wrong. You should ask: Do I feel worthy enough to invest in myself and this course and am I willing to work to find my life purpose? Ponder the answer to these questions and you won't have to ask others.

The only thing I know for sure I'll do is going on a monodiet in January. I did it last year and ate only mungbeans and rice for 21 days and I felt fantastic. My thinking was sharp and if I get some of the same result next months I'll be sure to use that fuel properly this time around.

Knowledge-wise ou are better off stuyding on your own. In my oppinion, there is not too much there in school-psychology (at least I was disappointed) But you will probably always be taken more seriously with a degree to back you up.

ok that's a long time and worth pondering to drop out. If after just one semester you even play with the thought, it's probably worth looking elsewhere. I'm usually very pro-education and have profited immensely from my studies, some of them I probably would not do again (including my psychology-bachelor!)

How long would you have to study for from now? Do you have to go into dept?

I've taken a program of his repeatedly. I got out of a codependent relationship (currently working on getting at the bottom of cedependency) and gotten out of my addicitve beaviours with alcohol (big one for me!), food, sports, work... -

I've gotten rid of most of my addicitons because of his porgrams! -
To me, it's a toy, a distraction, mere entertainment. I lose a ton of time on facebook and I wish I could get off. But it is also a tool I use to market and campaign certain things (for others) so I need to use it.

So interesting!!

Delete it! Facebook is a toy. Only reason I'm still on is that I manage other peoples' channels, else I would not be.

I don't think I know a person who would not profit from this course!

I use alumina (clay?) Works perfect and I only wash it every few weeks (more if I do sports of course). Hair is longer and shinier than ever.

I don't. I think money as an energy is on its way out.

@Leo Gura I will definitely buy it, though it frustrates me that I'm nowehere yet with reading and impementing the ones from the LPC (though I already know some of them). I find the more I'm trained to think things through (thanks to you) the more time I need to contemplate and impement content. I also need much more time for meditation these days.

Here! I'm in the process of becoming one! This is actually why I found Leo! I googled something with "minimalist" and youtube suggested his video "renouncing your stupid, busy life to me". A different take on minimalism, but definitely the most important one and a real eyeopener for me. The last step of decluttering was last saturday, where I ridded my attic of all excess stuff that was left. It started two years ago while ending my marriage, moving out ot said appatment and moving into a one-bedroom appartment since (though its still pretty big). So for the first time in my adult life I actually have the complete overview of what I own. I found stuff in the (really small) attic I didn't even know I had. That is so stupid! How can you ever use it if you don't even know it's there? So, while this is a good feeling, declutterin and getting rid of stuff can also leave you a little shaky because you remove a layer around you. You seemingly are less because you have less. You realize you will have to root a lot more in yourself because you can't hold on to so much around you anymore. I definitely can concentrate better, it takes almost no time to keep my appartment clean and tidy. I reduced my kitchen supplies and my cooking. I have both used cooking and eating as a pacifier in the past. I cook much simpler now, plainer foods. It frees up a ton of my time! I stopped seeing all the "acquaintanes" who were not friends reallly and concentrate on deepening the relationships with my really close friends and the children in my life that are important to me. I have way less scheduled appointments than I used to have. I'm also an environmentalist so I don't drive a car (I live in a country with excellent public transport), I stopped using shampoo 4 years ago, I only buy bio foods, I don't do fast fashion whatsoever and I walk anywhere I can. I also quit my career job to work on the LPC and see how I want to spend the coming years. So, tu sum it up, my life is much less complicated and I'm much less depressed.

I got stuck on the 100 questions too. Did nothing for several months. Now I picked it up and continued, and a few exercises further down I really got unstuck and could even go back to the exercise!

So I currently work in recruiting for a bit and after this experience I know why I got almost every job I applied for in my life: You can not believe how many crappy applications we get and how people behave (we are a big, well-respected NGO which pays decent salaries and very good benefits). So I thought I list a few things for those people here who aren’t enterpreneurs (yet) or students and actually need to get paid work to support themselves. Do Send in complete application. COMPLETE. It’s not so hard! Depending on the mood I’m in, I will write back to you and ask you for what is missing, or your application goes straight to the bin. Send PDFS!!!! If you send me world files, I think I deal with a schoolkid. Double-check your email after you sent it! If you forget to send an attachement, this way you at least realize it yourself and I don’t have to point it out to you. Send us the right motivational letter. If it’s addressed to another person of another company, I won’t be amused. No second chance there. We still want to see a motivational letter. Two lines in an email won’t do. Do write something about the company or organisation that we know bothered with researching who we are. Be upfront about problematic topics: Were you sacked in your last job? Don’t bring a skill we really want? Trying to not mention it or covering it up will not help – because I reealize what you’re doing. It will annoy me. If you, however, are upfront about it, I will consider you anyway, because noone is perfect. Do follow up if you are really interested! If you don’t hear back, follow up. Chances are that you’ll make an impression on whoever takes the phone. If there is a sudden opening (someone drops out or cancels the interview), we might consider to fill the appointment with you. Remember that you applied when I call you. If you don’t, pretend you do and try to get it together after we hung up. DISCUSS things that don’t explain themselves: You claim to work for yourself but you apply for a full-time job? Explain why!! On your CV the last three years don’t show up? Explain why! I don’t hold it against you if you have travelled the world, I just don’t want to have to guess. Do not Blow-up your CV to make it look more interesting, be it with graphics or text. We want to see how old you are, your employment history and your skills and we want to find this info quickly. Follow up 150 times. Once is plenty. We will get back to you eventually, but we are swamped with work. Cancel the job interview because the cat is sick or your earlobe might be hurting tomorrow. We will not provide another slot for you. Name-drop. It will make me think twice as hard if I consider you. Ghost us. It’s perfectly ok to withdraw from a recruiting process for whatever reasons. Do it upfront and in a timely fashion. Stay away from your mail and phone after you sent out applications. If I’m interested in hiring you, I want to be able to connect with you without having to try 3 times to reach you. Send a selfie you took outside your garage. Call me and curse me if we did not pick you. It will only be confirmation of our choice and your bad manners. Bottom line: If you want the job, you need to invest some energy into the application and the whole process. Do it and do it gracefully. Most people don’t realize that hiring is a process almost noone has time for these days. The managers do it on top of their day-to-day- workload. We have to squeeze in interviews, people will skip lunch to talk to you. Don’t waste anybodys time and you’re good.

This. I have been "sloppy" or rather, too distracted to get much progress the first 5 years. My practice is more steady and deeper since over a year now and I feel I do make progress. Retreats help a lot too. -
What did you have in mind when you approached him? Think back and then go from there.
