All acts are acts of Love, the only question is how much Shadow will twist that action. True Love is unconditional Presence which is Truth. -

@John Iverson Infinite Intelligence can only work with your personal experience and knowledge no matter how miraculous the answers you get may seem to you. I haven't experienced accessing other people's minds with intuition - which is just a limited version of Infinite Intelligence (develop your intuition until you get the real thing) - but they have to be first in your mind before Infinite Intelligence can work with it. -

@Nahm This is a minimalistic piece of art. She expressed what she wanted and left it that. @Pamela Zamora Because you care about what people think about you and think they have something valuable to show you -

@John Iverson See my response. Don't freak out. Infinite Intelligence is infinite computing power, not infinite memory. -

You most likely misunderstand what Infinite Intelligence is (I may be too, correct me if I'm wrong). In my current understanding, intuition is lower grade Infinite Intelligence. It processes the information that it is given, it does not create Truth and information out of the blue. With Infinite Intelligence, you can get to the bottom of Truth as it is not hidden from you but you will not know what did I do before reading your post for example. -

Some care, some don't. Those who don't trust that humanity will not destroy itself before it evolves out of self-destruction. Deeply enlightened people all beyond all attachments. You can not really an everyday psyche to an enlightened one. -
What do you want to get out of personal development and self-actualization? (without contemplating and figuring out what you want, you will be lost sooner or later) What are the techniques, habits and/or daily routines that can help you meet your desires? Do these Also, understand that there are multiple levels on this journey. Don't shame yourself if you don't want to meditate, self-inquire or if you are not interested in existential Truth; suppressing your own needs because of these "more advanced" things will not necessarily solve your problems. Welcome to the self-actualization train! Enjoy your ride!

Nah, the opposite. It means getting something done despite the heavy emotions coming up and letting them happen while you push through them.

@Erlend K I did not say you are a hedonist. I was just making a point. And yes, you interpreted the quote correctly. -

This is the adjective I define the nature of Truth and God with. Nothing related to the book. IMHO Spirituality arises naturally when one gets fed up with constantly clinging to the temporary and thus starts to search for something that is not temporary. There are no tips; this is the purpose of Presence and spiritual practice at large. You can only suffer if you have Resistance; where Truth can flourish, true Joy will naturally arise. I can see why you think it's unpalatable though. A hedonist isn't aligned with Truth, he makes an enemy out of Resistance; an ascetic goes full circle and becomes the greatest hedonist there can ever be. (@Nahm, if you have something to add to this, please do ) -

Do whatever allows you to unconditionally flow with life. You may change your strategy but for now, what's the point? On the deepest level however, basing one's psychology on the Unshakable is the wisest thing to do. Presence = Truth = Joy -
Interference with the flow of life just gonna make things worse. Resistance blocks the flow of consciousness and causes suffering - what else are you gonna do? Let the doubts arise. Let the questions ask themselves. Let doing be done with the presence of Being. But also, let Resistance arise and be. This is the closest you can get to Being. Let all suffering be burned away by Presence. Let Wu Wei (not) be done. ❤️

Don't create turbulence. Surrender to it. Learn to love it. If you can't, love the one who can't love.

Take a strengths assessment (http://www.viacharacter.org/) and look at the bottom ones
-
Trust us. This is just a phase. Allow it. Being comes naturally through acceptance because these are one and the same. Let the doing happen and don't beat yourself up about it. Accept all that arises even if it's negative.

From one's true nature where suffering can't exist because Truth and Love destroy ignorance, separation, and resistance.

On the deepest level, there is no purpose On the other hand, your deepest desire is Bliss/Love and that, only God/Dao can provide: "Most people do not bother with these things because they think they have already found the Truth or something else is more important to them. Beliefs, however, are futile. The times will come where beliefs start to crumble or get destroyed. As basing one's psyche on beliefs isn't wise, one starts to search for the Indestructible." - and spirituality and meditation, with patience and presence, will reveal the Indestructible. -

@SoonHei Focusing on your breath and not controlling your attention - aka Do Nothing - are different techniques. -
Torkys replied to zunnyman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You can also try being aware of your breath for 5/10/15 minutes then switching to Do Nothing - with the latter, you just want to maintain a non-resistant attitude. In my experience, this supercharges the spiritual purification. I am voting for the Do Nothing technique -

Do shadow work, observe, and work through the feeling as it appears before going further with self-inqury. If you wouldn't have emotional baggage related to these practices, they wouldn't disturb you. -
