You're not backing up anything your saying with any concrete examples lol. How about this. Do your little exercises and then you and I can meet at the track and you can race my friend who was a Bronze medalist in the 2012 Olympics in the 800m and let's how far your visualization will serve you then. There's a reason no top female athlete tends to not even come close to their male counter parts in their field. The fastest female sprinter ain't going to touch Usain Bolt in the 200m. Paula Radcliffe's untouchable world record in the marathon is 2:15:25. Eliud Kipchoge's most recent marathon record is 2:01:39. Reason? Genetics. There's a reason East Africans dominate middle/long distance running by a HUGE margin. There's a reason West Africans dominate the world of sprinting by a HUGE margin. There's a reason Australians and Americans dominate swimming. Genetics. Genetics. GENETICS. Deny what you see on the screen all you want. Deny your direct experience all you want. Your problem. Man, that's so out of convention. That's awesome you've found that for yourself. Now that's a counter-intuitive move right there. Have you not replaced them with anything else? Where the hell are you getting your examples? LOL -

@Leo Gura check this out (if you haven't seen it) -

It's what's true. Deny your direct experience as much as you want. Faith and all the personal development in the world doesn't make literally ANYTHING possible for you in this relative phenomenal plane. If you think you're going to change your genes and tap into some mythical potential that has you levitating in a lotus posture in outer space telepathically communicating to other celestial beings and able to breathe while in outer space... be my guest. I would love to be proven wrong on that. That's not "weak minded". That's rely on direct experience and not silly fantasy. -

Interesting I wonder how a change like that over the last few months would extrapolate over the coming years. Have you found that the results you've been getting thus far has been assisting in your progress in your Kriya, meditation, your concentration, and going into samadhi-like territory? -

@Leo Gura have you found any reason to suggest that psychedelics can change brain chemistry and type over time? Whether it be through research or your own DE? Btw I've been checking out the YouTube channel "Breaking Convention" and man they got GREAT stuff. Particularly on this topic too! Thanks for that resource! -

In the domain of talent, both are applicable. A legitimitate autistic is not going to be a Ramana Maharishi level enlightened person because guess what? That capacity ain't there. I'm not making the case that one cannot reach full liberation. I'm saying it's more honest to admit you don't know if they average person (not to make a blanket statement) can. Talent in the spiritual domain exists. We know this because guess what? Most people don't reach the end. People devote their whole lives to this and still get little nothing for it compared to the amount of depth that's there. Most people who practice hardcore don't get siddhis (deep) siddhis. That's not an accident. You can change them but that doesn't automatically mean there aren't limits to how much you can change them. Read and study anatomy. Don't ask me to prove anything to you. You're denying basic stuff and denying your own direct experience. I don't need to prove anything to you. You don't want to learn? Then that's your problem. Study stats of people who have enormously VO2 max capacities. Look at the numbers for those guys that have incredible lactate threshold capacities, testosterone levels, etc. You think you can match a 92 score VO2max through mere personal development, believing, and training? Go ahead. Be my guest lol -

Human beings have all 3 types. Fast, slow, intermediate twitch fibers are not a quality but are different fibers altogether LOL. If you really want to debate this subject with someone whose studied athletic science and physiology since the age of 12 then by all means. You don't say as your running "I'm going to work fast twitch fibers now". That's not how that works. I'm watering this down but if you're running slow for awhile (this is relative to one's fitness) eventually the slow twitch fibers eventually call upon other fibers for assistance. This is elementary but yeah, your understanding is downright false. The substance of what you are is Infinite Potential but I don't care how enlightened you are. If you have a missing foot you're not going to regrow that foot and beat me in a marathon. There are limits to what your character within this dream can do. Your denial of that is based on fantasy and imagination as it just dismisses what's the case right in front of you every single day. @Nahm prove me wrong. Go run under 2 hours in the marathon applying "faith". See how far that get's you. Don't worry... I'll wait. Genetics is a factor. You cannot deny for example that Kenyans, Ethiopians, and other East Africans have a flat out genetic disposition when it comes to middle/long distance running up to the marathon. Your denial of this is a fantasy and not based on your own direct experience. -

Lol if you think mere belief is going to change your muscle type to run under 2 hours for a marathon then yeah... you can go ahead and assume that ?? be my guess. I dont know what else to tell you othe than that you’re lost in fantasy. It’s acknowledging the reality that there are differences and limits. This work isn’t about trying to be some superhuman fantasy. -

Have you seen any research of evidence or any direct evidence based on your own experience that psychedelics change brain chemistry? Do you think the “neurofeedback meditation” you’ve been experienenting with has any promising potential? -
kieranperez replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Here’s my question though, do you think we all have a true given Genius like some of the names you mentioned and that part of the “imperative” is to become clear on what that is and then tying that in with life purpose? Again, just your own personal opinion as I’m curious as to where you stand on that. NO! People are talented. That’s just the fact of the matter. Not everybody “can be like Mike”. There’s a reason Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan. There’s a reason Jesus was Jesus. What Leo and I seem to be on the same on is that you don’t have to be like them. Accept your own limitations and your strengths! That acceptance is a strength not some victim. To try to emulate Jesus or something stems from a place of lack of acceptance that yeah, you can’t walk on water lol and aren’t at that level of talent. All because you can’t run a sub 2 hour marathon like Eliud Kipchoge doesn’t mean you can’t run fast. You can. Just have honest expectations and stay grounded with the fact that, yeah, not everybody has the capacity to earn an Olympic gold. -
kieranperez replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Isn’t it ironic how “objectivist” science and subjective spiritual gurus and masters both mutually single each other out because they both dismiss each other? The amount of more clarity we can get on having a more efficient, honest, and realistic u detstanding we could get on the spiritual path if both cooperated is going to be so much better once these communities merge. I make this case to other athletes all the time. I have some friends who’ve been to the Olympics and have competed at that level and they too are in this denial that they got there largely because of their talent. They literally think anybody could run under 4 for the mile if they worked hard enough. I’ve had friends who as a freshman in high school ran mid 4:20s and then next thing you know are national champs. But the problem is that the mind (regardless of the domain) creates a limiting narrative of how because they did it their way and they only look at their experience, they think it should be the case for everyone and it’s just wrong. Flat out wrong. I think what also needs to be made clear to many people is that many of these talent cases often don’t make good teachers. They can have great insight into the nature of God and also great wisdom and knowledge about the relative world but they doesn’t make them effective teachers per say. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time (in my honest - accurate - opinion ?). Horrible GM and owner and would make a horrific coach because he literally assumes everybody should be exactly like him and would be as good as him if they had that mindset. I mean, I remember Ralston said something on how you can literally create in one of his videos. Not sure what he really means by that though - feel free to expand on that if you know what he’s means though because I even emailed him on that but he said he would answer in a newsletter that was never released. I think this is why those guys who work their asses off in this work and do get to the end after decades of work are the real inspirations to me because this shit didn’t come easy to them. I think that’s what resonates with your vlogs (at least for me). This doesn’t seem to come easy for you in yet people still feel your intensity and passion for this work and youre finding your place and you’re driving hard at this. I don’t mean this as some idealistic projection but just my own 2 cents on the matter. -
kieranperez replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What I hear this guy describing in this interview is kinda what I hear from you with all your awakenings with 5-MeO but he’s having this just naturally. He’s describing literally thousands of deeper and deeper states of consciousness without any sort of external leverage like a guru, teacher, or psychedelic. These cases like Sadhguru, Ramana Maharshi, even Ralston who describes his staggering amount of work (the talent aka inherent capacity still has to be there in order to be actualized)... I personally have a hard time finding relating to these people because it’s like relating to a human fantasy in most cases. It’s like being a good runner but comparing yourself to the world record holder in the marathon. I thinks it’s tricky because these people don’t seem extrodinary so it seems like “well yeah I should be able to do this then.” These people are not your average no-self level enlightened people. Which is why I’m glad you emphasize depth because that’s something I see in any domain that’s not nearly emphasized enough. Much less the domain of nonduality. Glad to see how humble and “ordinary” he is though. I can’t exain how refreshing that is. Nonetheless, I do find these cases who have these abilities absolutely fascinating because it’s shows what’s actually possible for a human being (whether it comes naturally or not) and sparks there curiosity for how dee human potential and understanding goes. -
That part was a joke but okay lol

I’m going to make this very clear. If you have LEGITIMATE ADHD, TRY MODAFINIL! I have legitimate ADHD. I was diagnosed at 5-6 years old for about 6 months of cognitive testing. I was on ADHD medication for 17 years up until January of 2018 when I finally had enough. I tried in the early years concerta, stratera, Ritalin, and a few others until I settled on Adderall. As those of you who have ADHD that have been on some sort of ADHD stimulant over the course of years know, when you first take, IT WORKS. The first day of it working its hysterical by how much more centered you are and you can pay attention, you can really HEAR another human being across from you, you’re not a victim of your own thoughts and impulsivity racing like a fucking hurricane, suddenly you stop forgetting your car keys, etc. you know what I’m talking about... Eventually though, it dies out. You acclimate. Enter modafinil... Right now I’m taking 1/2 of a modafinil... Good god... for those of you on here who are struggling with this that are looking for a much healthier route rather than take stimulants that become physiologically addictive (in the past, I wanted to get off Adderall but every time I got off I would be so out of energy I couldn’t get out of bed), this is for you! I can literally read several pages in a book now without going off track for 2 pages being lost and just reading words and can be present with what I’m reading. My stuttering and mumbling has significantly subsided. I can listen to another human being in a conversation and not get stuck in myself. I now have a tool that’s helping me get started with meditation without feeling like I’m swimming against a current that feels as powerful as a tsunami. I’m not a victim of impulsive and compulsive behaviors like chronic phone and media use. I can have a long chain of thought without going 10 places in 2 seconds. I don’t feel dizzy sick from my own mind (my diet is pretty solid). For those that have ADHD that have a good financial base that can afford neurofeedback training or an EEG machine and want to learn neurofeedback for yourselves, GO GET IT! If you’re like me though and you can’t afford neurofeedback, here’s my suggestion to you (as this is my plan): Get modafinil! Get on it, see the effects for yourself. If your adhd is prominent enough and you’re like me and you have horrendous self-esteem, confidence issues, chronic media addiction because it’s that easy dopamine fix, etc. and your life is on a rotten foundation... BUY THIS! This is a lever that can fucking really help you. This can be thing that helps you START and stay on track and get out the starting blocks. My suggestion is use this until you can setup a life until you can afford neurofeedback training/an EEG machine and then get this shit solved for good and then you can put an end to pills for ADHD for good. I’m writing this because I KNOW how fucking hard this shit is. This is not for those of you who don’t have adhd that haven’t done your homework, that can’t empathize with those that struggle from a real cognitive issue, those nondual elitists who just use ego to explain away everything. This is for those that have this issue and need someone whose struggled with this for close to 2 decades. I dropped out of college mostly because of this. ADHD is hands down, no question, overdiagnosed. There are plenty of people out there who are diagnosed but really there issue is their diet, they don’t exercise enough, etc. There is also more than one route to treating this because ADHD is very hairy. I grew up under a chef and have eaten well my whole life. There’s not a vegetable I don’t eat, not a fruit I don’t eat (except bananas... fuck bananas), etc. I’ve been a hardcore athlete my whole life, I’ve tried fucking everything except modafinil (until now) and neurofeedback. If you’ve been trying many options for years and maybe decades, this could be a life changer. Once again, thank you @Leo Gura. I’m appalled at how fortunate I am to have found your channel that showed this. And of course, thank you @Robby

How long have you been on ADHD meds? I was on for 17 years and got off a little over a year ago and I am noticing how quickly I adapt to this med physiologically and cognitively and this build a tolerance. I plan on doing an update post on this for those of us who have this. However, if you don’t have a history close to as long as mine and you don’t feel you’ve adapted to your meds yet I would give this a try, although I’m concluding from my own experience that this is temporary until I can afford neurofeedback training in the fall.

Study businesss and marketing. I suggest Eben Pagan as a good resource. Study, learn, go to farmers and literally pitch them your idea. Ask them what their wants and needs are. Get practical and theoretical. If you don’t increase everybody’s woke points to 100,000 in 5 years with your invention you’ve failed. GO

@Andreas whose the one coming up with all this stuff? There are no moral obligations as far as reality is concerned. Yeah we need to create rules because that’s what’s entailed as far as having a society goes but creating those consciously, understanding that there’s nothing inherent in those laws and rules will be far more effective because the we can change them (not to suggest that that’s some simple snap of the fingers process) rather than be rigid and dogmatic over our rules. Blue’s moralization is mind control. It’s stunts the person’s ability to think for themselves. There’s nothing true (entirely) about ‘this thing here is inherently and existentially sad’. I’m not defending people who beat their kids. That happened to my mom and yeah the psychological trauma that can leave on a person can be enormous but that doesn’t discount the fact of the matter. Rigid rules stunt without questioning stunts growth. Greater and more accepting consciousness of what’s true leads to greater and greater growth because it’s based off of what’s true. Don’t like that? Good. That’s where you need to work. And to add on to what @Serotoninluv is saying on your conditional compassion for abused children... do you not see that your still making this rigid distinction of “adult” and “child”? What are most adults but mere children acting out a more calcified version of their inner child and finding all sorts of ways to act out and repress that inner child from ever coming to surface and into their awareness. Now you have this rigid rule between adult and child where what the child has gone through is all sad and you pity him but then his needs were never met and now you throw on this additional moralization that causes more acting out and suppression of what’s really there. Or another way of putting it, suppressing what’s really true for them in their experience underneath all the shit they’ve been conditioned with.
-
You are free to do whatever you want. If you want to act unconsciously, you can because you already do (I don’t mean you specifically per say). The sooner you see the truth in that the sooner you’ll actually be able to stop that behavior and you won’t need some stupid rule to not hit your children which just suppresses that desire more and more which will eventually a greater uproar in that area and/or others. Truly moral and ethical people don’t need a stupid rule not to hit their kids the same way a healthy person doesn’t need a rule to not smoke cigarettes.
-
Whatever you resist persists. How has that whole fighting for world order gone so far? The world is PERFECT as it is whether and CANNOT be other than what it is right now regardless of whether or joy you and/or the majority of the human race whom are stuck in their mayopia care to agree with that truth or not. It may suit your own imaginary ideals but those are nonetheless your own imaginary ideals. What your calling “ethical” are a set of criteria that are based off of your own needs and values... in othe words, your ego. They are arbitrary and are relative and it would be useful if you sat down and contemplated what “ethics” are, how they came into existence, how they came to pass, and what was the purpose for that relative distinction that brought it into being to begin with. I don’t like terrorist attacks as much as the next guy but that doesn’t diminish the truth of how that is part of the greater cosmic perfection. You can “oppose” the behavior because that behavior is driven off of lower consciousness and living in falsehood (with some partial truth) and “combat” it with that in mind. Im not saying stop all war and pursue blind peace on earth.

How is this thread still a thing? Lol Good god get over your egoic hangups of how you think enlightened people should be this perfect person. These are all projections. -

You’re seem to be attached to this black and white 100% accuracy but. Of course it’s not 100% accurate but that doesn’t dismiss it at all. There’s still great usefulness. If a guru whose clairvoyant who makes a prediction that still has some vagueness that comes to fruition, is that to be dismissed? I’m not that deep into the metaphysics and epistimology of science as I’m not that involved in what goes in within the domain of science that deeply so I don’t want to go further into examples of black holes and what not because that’s not a domain I’m that familiar with. So that’s what I’ll say as far as that. -
He (supposedly) has... 240 nuns praying for him 4 times per day every single day 20 brothers 10-12 priests Just so he “blow past Mars and purgatory on a rocket ship” past Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to heaven... This was a test of me getting triggered by Orange/Blue... I failed lol I can’t do this guy ?

Sure but what I think is worth taking into consideration when creating new models is the following question: how will this new model and paradigm become limiting down the road? Its usually a useful tool for those that have become aware - which you and I are on the same page on. The problem is when that model becomes distributed to the masses. And by model I mean new systems, processes, etc. Again, you and I don’t disagree. I’m just saying this is an issue that I see is very overlooked and often not brought into questioning. A lot of people then take on and adopt these new practices, systems, concepts, worldviews, etc. just inherently and then eventually the understanding becomes diluted over time.
