@Michael569 you’re telling me that functional medicine doctor costs even more than the already expensive doctors...? Funny how the people who want to solve these issues that aren’t addressed in conventional medicine are even less affordable than the poison people are dealt with. Making it harder for people to utilize potentially more useful solutions. Precisely why I’ve lost faith in this industry. Starting to lose complete fucking faith in my entire future to get help... I’ll at least utilize the Gaba and Glycine. Thanks anyways man.

@Matt23 I can promise you that those miracles are not only possible but have been done by thousands of yogis for thousands of years and you can even meet these people today who do this. I don’t blame you for having a closed mind. It really is crazy that this stuff is possible but yeah, the practices and technologies are nonetheless possible and exist. Authogbiography of a yogi is really an autobiogrphical romance story between one man and his love of Truth.

I’m not here to follow anyone. I love Leo’s work but I’m not here to particularly follow anyone. I’m on here to have some sort of support system so that I eventually don’t need a support system. You’re reading it as dualistic because language is dualistic and misleading. If that’s how you’re interpreting what I’m saying then you’re still missing my point. There is neither “is” nor “is-not”. I don’t want to go into language games. Hence why I’m tired of talking about this and creating stories that don’t go anywhere. It will always be misunderstood. Period. Lol again, I don’t want to indulge these stories and narraratives. If that’s how you wanna talk about it, I understand but yeah I don’t reallu go on and on creating narratives and cosmologies. It’s getting quite old and quite misleading. There is nothing to be torn down. There is no other side. “Paradise” is just means “right now, right now.” Dont really want to indulge in this nondual word game. This has gotten away from the point of this post and my original comment and I don’t wish to indulge and hijack this thread more. -

Well if we’re gonna talk from the case and point of what is Absolute, I never said that was the case. As far as I’m concerned, there is no real fundamental “purpose”. Purpose and meaning is something that is fabricated (out of ignorance) out of a sense of experience. In the end though, experience itself is not true and doesn’t exist. So I don’t really want to go into creating and making up relative cosmologies in trying to explain something that cannot EVER be explained. This is getting off track with my point and doesn’t have anything to do with the point I made. Besides that, there is no difference between nothing and everything. To see nothing and not everything is still not Absolute and is still false. There are no things. There is no you. However we want to interpret it from there is relative and our “choosing” of how we wish to describe Absolute Truth despite every shortcoming that will come from ever explaining these things. Love can only be known through experience. Goodness can only be known through experience. Creation can only be known through experience. Experience is an illusion that doesn’t exist. Existence is an experience of an illusion. Not fundamentally true. Not fundamentally real. -

People like fantasies. Development, spirituality, enlightenment, etc. just become different versions of commodities for people. Instead of staring in admiration of the new Xbox it becomes that with enlightened people and development. this is why I’m not a fan of making too much talk out of developmental stages because it ends up warping someone’s perception. I notice this with myself too. Your entire perceptive system becomes distorted with this. Although it can be helpful to have a language for this, spiral dynamics - pardon me for this contradiction here where I’m using this language - is a stage yellow development in that it can only really be helpful once you’re at that level in your own ego development. This is important because most people on here, if they’re honest, are NOT there so actually all this talk really just distorts this perception. Good example of this is in Leo’s video on Maslows distinction between “being-cognition” and “deficiency-cognition”. You can see this especially on here because people love to make judgements using these stages and then rationalize it all away, not realizing that’s just more d-cog behavior. Having said all that babble though... people lose sight of course that these stages, even at 2nd tier, don’t exist. We fabricate them and still is arbitrary for the most part and is just our way of making stuff up in order to survive in a world where we create distinctions that have no fundamental reality to them. It’s a useful self created distinction. However it is precisely that. A self created distinction. -
I'm trying to get started into Hatha Yoga. I'm doing a summer gig where I'm working 60-70 hours a week and simply don't have time to invest in some Hatha Yoga studio. Reason: So I can have enough relaxation in my body where I can finally sit and meditate without any sort of cushion. I'm relaxed and finally flexible enough so I'm free of the tension and stiffness such that I can actually sit in a meditation posture proper and focus Improve my breathing Get enough of the tension out of my chest by improving pranayma so I can finally breath relaxed I get so confused with trying to establish some sort of routine since I'll do YouTube searches but most of what I find are just individual postures and poses which tells me nothing about starting an actual practice, how to structure it, etc.

Just remember the points I made above -
I’ll do a search for “DMT” and nothing comes up. I’ll do searches for 5-MeO-DMT or NN-DMT and nothing comes up. Thought I’d raise attention on this in case this is happening to anyone else

Lol where are you getting your data and theoretical understanding of coral? Where are you getting your examples for what Coral even is? Turquoise is less than 1% of the world’s population. Don’t get lost in chasing unicorns. Be mindful of how being dedicated to these maps distort your perception. Remember that these are still mental constructions and that the only truth in them is the truth your create in them as they are relative and illusory and nature. Not saying stop. Just saying be mindful. -

Who is the one that wants to “get rid of” the ego? -
kieranperez replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM All the akashic records are is the collective unconscious. The reason the collective unconscious was invented as a distinction was to relate to our own relative experience in a way that is less blind and more whole and includive. Stage Teal is Ken Wilber’s version of Spiral Dynamics State Yellow. Remember all of these states and “downloads” and what not, though they sound fancy, are still all relative experiences and are not Absolute. In the end they do not exist nor have any fundamental Absolute reality. This game will go on forever. In the end all of this is just the mind. The world itself is the mind and in Truth, there is no mind. -
This. Is. AMAZING. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie clip bring a bigger smile to my face. WOW

@Leo Gura you have not integrated God and reality until you integrate the infinite power and potentional of your search function on here. lol jk

@GenuinePerspectiveXC dude. Your arrogant dribble is getting nauseating. Not to mention how you’re attacking people by telling people to jump off a bridge all because you can’t pose even a half decent critique on any point people are laying on the table to you on why you’re points are misguided. NO ONE EVER SAID IQ ISNT IMPORTANT. IQ IS PARTIAL GRADE OF HUMAN INTELLIGENCE. The VALUE people in society tend to put onto IQ is wrong. Wrong in that they give too much importance and credit to IQ to signify someone’s intelligence. That is what is being pointed to you. Leo bashes IQ to get the point across that IQ (tests) are COMPLETELY overvalued for what it’s actually worth. Notice what he even said in his video on infinite intelligence. -
kieranperez replied to Geromekevin's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
If you think the reason our society is at such a low level of development because of low IQ then idk what else to tell you then that you’re just flat out wrong dude. Look at the developmental research in developmental psychology. The data, numbers, statistics are all there. Consciousness and a more well rounded and development of indivual and collective psychology that is more all inclusive (I’m watering this down a lot so don’t take this short statement to be my entire thesis) and is free of shadows is what holds back societies and individuals in their development. Not because they’re more “logical”. There is not a single human being that is fundamentally logical nor reasonable at the end of the day. Those were inventions made by people that came about to deal with an ever more complex, evolving, and nuanced reality. IQ is not 1000000% irrelevant. It’s PARTIAL. Not complete... AT ALL. People on this thread who know and are aware of that don’t need to take your point seriously when they know directly that yeah that’s just not true. If someone is directly conscious that there’s nothing material about reality, they don’t need to entertain your dribble about how it’s actually material. Materialism is a philosophy. Not a fact. And a false philosophy at that. -
@Commodent again, I’m saying the whole “let it go” notions works for some. I’m not saying that’s not solid advice for people. It definitely is... for some. I’m not suggesting we swing our pendulum. What I’m trying to point out is that that advice is often extremely discouraging for the one whose being given that advice. They discount and presume that positive self talk and just applying self love and feeling good solves those issues. To use myself as the example, I’m a hardcore perfectionist. My entire relationship towards any endeavor I even have interest in is I have to reach the absolute pinnacle. When I was a runner, if I didn’t run under 4:10 for the mile I don’t see what’s so special. If I wasn’t some professional runner, I’m really just wasting my time. It’s not even out of a sense of comparing myself to other people. It’s comparison to my own ideals. When I try to practice self love and literally can’t because I feel like such a loser and an incompetent failure that it taints any sort of love I bring up due to certain vow made as far back as when I was 4 years old. Positive self talk does not solve that 99.999% of the time. Just feeling good doesn’t solve deep shadows and deep wounds. It takes really vulnerability, honesty, openness to one’s feelings, etc. The advice of just applying love to people who have similar situations is based on the assumption that a person can just do that. Even if you have a breakthrough on psychedelics and reach radical states of healing... you still come back down. The point I was trying to make is merely just the POV from the other side of how frustrating that advice can be. It’s part of why i get frustrsted with talk on developmental psychology from people like Wilber and even Leo. Not that it has anything to do with them but because on the receiving end it’s ljke “what do I do with this though?!” When you feel truly powerless and stuck in your life for sometimes for very legitimate reasons (psychological) and you don’t have help and you’re reading from someone who just wants to talk about this stuff but doesn’t give any tips or detailed advice about how to utilize these things it can feel very defeating. Again though, @anglo John gage, happy to see you’re doing better

I’ll keep that in mind next time you rant at Leo and about the quality of the forum and how you think he doesn’t take feedback. First off, that’s adorable lol. Second, notice how you didn’t address a single point I made and you’re just vomiting projections about me. How exactly am I being an ideologue here? I’m telling you it’s wrong because I know directly that it’s wrong. If you wanna interpret that as an ideology then you can do what you want. An ideologue is someone whose insistent on their POV and refuses to actually be open. Which is basically what people on this thread are trying to point out to you. If you don’t wanna be open to that, suit yourself. Keep your beliefs and do whatever you want. -
kieranperez replied to Geromekevin's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Dude. Be here to learn and not be an ideologue. Materialism is just flat out untrue. IQ at the end is but one lines of intelligence and is largely not even that significant this day in age. Much less so an indicator of how intelligent someone is. If you’re gonna speak from a “scientific” POV you can’t just sweep the implication of all the shattering evidence and implications done WITHIN science that debunks materialism. Is it a coincidence that the most breakthrough revolutionary scientists were deeply interested in mysticism? That what mysticism and the core of all scientific discoveries point to that which is infinite, deeply interconnected, oneness with all that we call reality, that 0 and infinitity is the same thing, etc.? Notice how you’re not interested in being open. -
This is just a response because for one, this is one of my biggest issues as I think this might bring more awareness to these issues that many people on the forum seem to not understand (not saying you don’t): I listened to your video and although the understanding is there intellectually, more often than not, people can’t just “let it go”. Some people can. A LOT of people can’t. You can’t just tell someone whose had a lot of trauma in there life that what they need to do is “just breathe” or “let it go” or “learn to allow yourself to love yourself”. There’s the assumption there that they actually think they can just do that. That they already have a healthy enough ego to give love to themselves. That they can just let it go. A lot of people who are real hardcore dysfunctional perfectionists, myself being in that clan, NEED an external support system to help them because they only reason they have that perfectionism in the first place is because they have a tarnished capacity to be able to love themselves and let go of whatever it is they’re attached to. Even to become more aware of one’s deep ego dynamics isn’t enough. This often takes real work with a support system of some kind. Saying “let it go” or whatever, sure it sounds good, but it’s misleading. I don’t want to sound like I’m bashing anything but as someone whose been told stuff like this for many years (more than a decade) and have it go nowhere because it’s based off certain assumptions and has lead to actually more suffering, I feel it is worth mentioning. Congrats on your own personal progress though.

@MasterNigel what’s your relationship with your mom and what was your relationship like in your adolescent years? Who did you have a better relationship with, your mom or your dad? How stable was your family life in your childhood and teenage years? What was your relationship like with your dad? Answer, if you wish, in any way you feel comfortable that’s still authentic and genuinely honest.
