yes,.. If I say more, then you will say 'I am using too many words'... I remember that hilarious post you made very well. If people can understand what is written in that long essay, what is there for me to add? -

People who only teach things like 'You don't exist', 'You don't have to do anything to get enlightened', 'you are already enlightened' 'Just be' etc... These statements are useful pointers when said during the right time to the seeker. But it can't really help if this is the only teaching. If you read that article, it will make sense. -

Yes.. I did a lot of that bullshitting in my early days.. Let me narrate a story that happened in my life.. When I was 15 years old, I fell in love with a girl. I wanted to marry her when I become an adult and that is something that I wanted more than anything else.. At the same time, there was a blind man who lived in a graveyard near my home town... He was believed to have certain psychic powers. My mom went and asked him why I was not focusing on studies. He usually threw dice on the floor, asked people to count it, and said predictions based on that. He told my mom that I was in love with that girl and got crazy about that girl. I was surprised to hear this from my mom.. I convinced my mom to go to that guy to find out if I would really get married to that girl. My mom knew that I was crazy and I wouldn't listen to her. So both of us went to see that guy. He threw dice as usual. We counted it and then he predicted that when I would be 18 years old, the girl herself would come to me and promise that she would marry me. I was very happy.. I did a lot of crazy things those days. I used to sit on the balcony and meditate on her image. . I would visualize both of our souls merging with each other and I would focus on that for hours during the evenings. I wrote more than 1000 poems in Tamil about her. I also composed a devotional poem to God in Tamil, asking God to grant her as my life partner and I used to recite that poem as a mantra every day. The poem was composed with perfect meter and rhyme, according to Tamil prosody. I did this because I have heard countless anecdotes in Tamil where Tamil saints were able to do miracles just by singing poems.. Later, when I moved out of my hometown to pursue my studies in the year 2000. I kept a journal where I would write whatever I wanted to talk with her. I used that notebook as a pillow to sleep every day. I would write things imagining as if she was in front of me listening to whatever I said. I also tried Law of attraction. I used to accurately imagine how my life was going to be after marrying her. I also sent her two letters by post and try to talk to her during holidays. She was not interested to talk to me. My visualizations improved day by day and I spent many months in visualizing my life after marriage. I was very sincere in my attempt and was able to accurately visualize her face and both of us talking. I filled the entire journal in the next 2 years. During the beginning of the year 2002, I used to go to a nearby temple every day at 4 am; the temple was about a mile away from the room I was staying. I prayed in the temple for one hour and I wanted God to grant me her in my life and I also prayed to God to make me that perfect guy whom she would like to marry. I repeated the same thing in the evening and I ended up walking 4 miles a day in total for about a month. It happened in December 2001-Jan 2002. It was during an Indian month which is considered as auspicious. I tried all kinds of things like Law of attraction, telepathy, remote seduction,. you name it! Guess what! Whatever I thought would happen when I was 18 years old did not happen at all. That is when I actually started to question many things in life and became a true spiritual seeker. She is married to someone else now and I am happily married to my wife. I have been the craziest guy, have done craziest shit in my life.. I got fed up with all of it because many things which I sincerely tried never worked at all. I wanted to die and had lost all the hope about life. Once I started reading the books of Osho sometime in the middle of the year 2002, everything changed. I was fortunate that I had already experimented with a lot of these stuff before I became a true seeker. -

none of this really matter for enlightenment.. whether they are real or not doesn't matter, if one's intention is just spiritual enlightenment, there is no need for all this. -

You are Carrying your Wound You carry your wound. With the ego, your whole being is a wound. And you carry it around. Nobody is interested in hurting you, nobody is positively waiting to hurt you; everybody is engaged in safeguarding his own wound. Who has got the energy? But still it happens, because you are so ready to be wounded, so ready, just waiting on the brink for anything. You cannot touch a man of Tao. Why? - because there is no one to be touched. There is no wound. He is healthy, healed, whole. This word whole is beautiful. The word heal comes from the whole, and the word holy also comes from the whole. He is whole, healed, holy. Be aware of your wound. Don't help it to grow, let it be healed; and it will be healed only when you move to the roots. The less the head, the more the wound will heal; with no head there is no wound. Live a headless life. Move as a total being, and accept things. Just for twenty-four hours, try it - total acceptance, whatsoever happens. Someone insults you, accept it; don't react, and see what happens. Suddenly you will feel an energy flowing in you that you have not felt before. - Osho; from 'The Empty Boat: Encounters with Nothingness' -

Great! If you go to this link, you will find the complete timeline of his talks and you will also find the name of the books: http://www.sannyas.wiki/index.php?title=Osho_Events You can just copy the name of the book and search in google by adding the word 'pdf'. You can also read all his books for free in this online library: http://www.osho.com/iosho/library/the-books . You would need to register for free there if you want to read more pages. It is free registration. Read his books casually, as if you are listening to your friend gossiping. If he sounds like a jerk, don't mind and treat him like one of your close friends who always talks like a jerk. He lies a lot and he admits it. He didn't care about factual accuracy and he admits it too. His main intention was to crack the hard nut that surrounds people's minds. That hard nut is made up of years and years of conditioning. You can enjoy many adult jokes and interesting stories. -

LISTEN ATTENTIVELY I know you are absolutely in a drunken state. Everything is upside down in you, everything is in a mess. You don't know what you are doing, why you are doing it. You don't know why you are here in the first place! But I know perfectly well why I am here and what I am doing. I am trying to wake you up - you are fast asleep. Just take one thing seriously and that is to become more and more alert of your sleepiness. And all my efforts here, sutras or jokes, are nothing but means to wake you. Sometimes a joke can wake you up more easily than a serious sutra because listening to a serious sutra you tend to fall deeper into sleep; it is so serious that you can't be awakened by it. But a joke is so light that you don't want to miss it; you listen attentively. - Osho -

I have interacted with the author in the email and I have also read this book. I can sense the authenticity in his writing and he indeed conveys what needs to be conveyed.. I got the same feeling when I read his free pdf that he has available in his website.. That is why I chose to contact him via email. Not only that, this book is a must-read for kriya yogis because he says in that book about things which are often overlooked in kriya yoga taught by many organizations. I will tell you about one myth when it comes to Kriya yoga.. People usually think that Kundalini reaching the crown chakra is enlightenment. But it is not. After reaching the crown chakra, it has to come down to the spiritual heart via amrita nadi. He has mentioned this in his book. There are already so many fake ones when it comes to Kriya yoga. The real ones like him are actually very rare. Writing a book and selling it is not really a big business when it comes to spirituality. A person who wants to scam doesn't rely on writing books. . There are better ways to scam people. Books on spirituality usually get only less number of sales when compared to books on other niches. -

A BRIDGE WITH EXISTENCE Just try to walk a few steps consciously and you will see the difference - and the beauty and the joy and the relaxation of walking consciously. Your whole body is in tune with existence. Consciousness bridges you with existence. Unconsciousness closes you into yourself. In unconsciousness you don't have any connection with existence. In consciousness you are related to the whole - from the smallest blade of grass to the biggest star millions of light-years away. Osho -

Do you have the ability to speak normally like every other person does? Are will you answer this question by saying that there is no 'every other person'? What I say is not just based on the previous conversations alone. Your every conversation sounds like how the so-called 'neo-Advaita teachers' speak... I have tried to make many things clear to you many times... You have the freedom of speech.. But I can tell you right now that this is going nowhere. I am not even sure what your intention is. -

I told you very clearly that teaching non-duality is a totally different deal. It is important to get down to the level of the seeker and speak to them in their language.. That is called compassion. 'I am that I am' is a revelation of an experience; not a teaching.. -

@snowleopard Yes.. In fact, some theory is necessary. In my book, I have talked a lot about Indian schools of thought like Samkhya, Vedanta, Yoga, and Buddhism and I have also shown where they are in agreement. I deeply studied these topics only after enlightenment, and I examined them just like how a linguist would investigate the nature of different languages. I found that the terminology is the main issue. I have also discussed the three important means of knowledge which all of these schools agree which are the following: 1) Verbal testimony.. 2) Inference.. Number 1) is verified by Number 2) 3) Direct experience Number 1) is verified by Number 3) You first hear about non-duality through verbal testimony. You finally confirm that it is true by direct experience. Any theory beyond this is usually unnecessary and it will make the spiritual path more complicated..the bottom line is, you don't have to have a degree in philosophy to walk on the spiritual path. But if you like it and if you want to proceed that way because it is indeed helping you to progress, then that should be fine.. The general rule of thumb is, if it works, go ahead! -

The investigation is necessary. I am only talking about getting attached and identified with theories that you learn.. -
