Hi everyone, I am going to introduce you to something that you can conveniently refer to when you introduce the topic of spirituality to someone. The logic that we are familiar with is the Aristotelian Logic based on two truth values. Among them, only one of them could be true. For example, "A exists" and "A doesn't exists" are two truth values; according to Aristotelian Logic, both can't be true. This system of logic is usually considered as insufficient to talk about spiritual topics. But there is a system of logic based on 7 truth values and this system was introduced by Jain schools in Ancient India. In this system, all the 7 truth values could be true! In Spiritual community, Jesus Christ is seen as the enlightened Mystic who found the Truth or the Kingdom of God within. Much of his original teachings got distorted when they were put in writing. Some of the messages were intentionally modified or hidden in order to escape persecution. But one can still see the original Vedantic wisdom in many verses of the Bible. In this video, I have discussed the true message of Jesus and how the original Christian teachings guide people towards Spiritual Enlightenment or Self-realization. Bible Verses discussed in the video: Luke 17:21 The kingdom of God is within you John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Matthew 18:3 And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Hey guys, If you are looking for scientific validation of spiritual experiences or spiritual enlightenment, then you should know that it is already being studied in science since 1968. The subfield of psychology that focuses on spiritual transformation is Transpersonal psychology (William James, Abraham Maslow, Carl Jung etc are the pioneers). My purpose in this body is to make some contribution in spreading the awareness about the possibility of studying spirituality as a scientific discipline; by the Grace of the Supreme Power, it may be possible for me to do contribution in the actual research. Having found spiritual enlightenment myself, I am sharing my experience with other seekers; in addition to that, I am spending my time in studying Psychology, as it will later enable me to contribute for the research. Not everyone is ready to realize the full potential of meditation. 99% population would only need meditation for relaxation. Thy are too occupied with their goals, relationships etc to seek anything that is beyond that. Looks like that is how it is supposed to be. Anyway, Transpersonal psychology is a valid field of science which studies spiritual experiences and recognizes the importance of meditation. So, everything that is discussed here indeed have a place in science already. I made a video about it:
