  1. He should be willing to learn for himself not for you, otherwise this will be a dead-end anyway if theres no genuine interest coming from his place why do you want to convince him so badly? ask that yourself. That's quite unhealthy behaviour. Recognize the suffering you create. Understanding this will help you. provide the resources you think are good for him, but let him make the decision if he takes it, and if so, how far he will take it.
  2. I just listened to this.. Listened and watched deeply. this guy speek from a place of love. Can you spot it?
  3. a calm mind finally sent application for a job, was heavily procrastinating playing with cats the open and innocent gaze of the child next to me on the train uplifting music
  4. depending. Every person can react differtently to different substances. if you're new to psychedelics start off with the ones which proven themselfs to give good results like LSD, Psilocybin mushrooms do a whole bunch of research on how to prepare yourself for a trip, set and setting, dosages ect. ect. and don't forget that you don't get cured most of the times but rather get an understanding of your condition which you'll have to integrate in daily life
  5. If you want permission you probably have to ask him in private message
  6. Can totaly relate to this one. Also happened to me on NN DMT. It felt like "I" was created out of complete nothingness in a matter of seconds. First time when the process of recreation happened I was able to recognize and decided to let go of it and dissolve again and stayed in beeing nothing in particular for a little longer, second time "I" was built completly again, from body to mind and identity. Stunning to witness the process in action
  7. @JonasVE12 You can use almost anything as meditation practice. Yes you can train your attention by focusing on the notes, or the sound coming out of playing these notes, or feeling the sensation in your hands of playing the strings, looking at your hands playing, and so on and so on. Apply this to all kinds of activities you do, one key is to be very mindful to where you put your attention. You can practice meditation with all of your senses all throughout the day, this is how you can bring meditation into your daily life beyond the cushion
  8. @Nahm Sounds to me like you have some experience with this. When I read this something clicked. As I experienced myself as awareness more and more often and try to detatch myself from body and mind I maybe have taken it too far and created a belief like that. I'm going to contemplate on it.
  9. So in my latest trips a certain phenomena is reoccuring. It happens mainly when i go into deep silence, suddenly I get "hit" by something, like a wave. I can not see the "wave" coming, it just suddenly hits me. My whole body gets a shock, extremly intense sensations on every inch of my body. Its almost like high voltage shoots through my beeing in a split second. My mind gets kicked out of silence mod. First time I had this was on San Pedro whilst beeing in a retreat, but it only occured once there. Now started happening on mushrooms. Yesterday it happend around 8 times. I tried to surrender to it by its so too intense, my body-mind reacts with fight or flight. Im a bit puzzled by this. Has anyone experienced something like this or simmilar?
  10. cannabis is definitly psychodelic on me and expands my consciousness but most times when i smoked my mind also got quite foggy, clear and discerning thinking was not as possible like on other psychodelics, therefore others are far superior for me. Also on the following 1-2 days my mind tends to stay foggy
  11. @outlandish No I'm mostly alone while tripping. & it somehow feels like it's stabbing right in the core of my beeing, like it would obliterate my psyche if i somehow could manage to go into it. How did you find your way out of yours?
  12. @Truth Addict Interesting. Every now and then I also get a kind of instant shock that throws me out of my sleep. Other than yours mine does not creep on me over a period of time. But its hard to say how similar they are because I can't observe the shock as clearly when I'm in sleep
  13. fear of losing the progress i've made
  14. Very interesting experiment. A friend of mine did the same a while back. He told me how much more he appreciated it afterwards and how big the differenct between with meditation and without is, good reminder for him Tanks for posting
  15. @MM1988 some truth can reveal itself in front of you just as real like the computer screen you see right now in front of you. Often enough the mind shuts completly silent in one of these unconverings. If you're in a high state of consciousness, your mind very clear is and you discover a truth, it's quite easy to see what a thought is and what not
  16. 30 day's without any experience in a shorter solo retreat will probably knock you off. go for 1 week instead and work your way up
  17. Great story ? thanks for sharing. Beeing in such a situation on acid, puhh.. I image to be hella intense. In a couple of days i will leave the city, pack my tent and go camping in nature. Haven't done this since last summer, i rly have a strong craving for Nature. And I'm going to bring a bunch of psychodelica too.
  18. @arlin Have tried stop listening music for a while? + learn to Stay indifferent with your thoughts, you cannot fight a cloud, you'll just create more of them & I remember an older thread on "earworms" (music stuck in ur head), look that up, u'll maybe find something useful
  19. @apparentlynoself I can't remember him saying it's useless, just that psychodelica like 5meo are much more potent tools. This doesn't mean you should stop meditation. Keep the practice, it's one of the best things you can do for yourself. Stick with it for years and years and years, for most ppl it needs time to build up
  20. @ivankiss great post! Have you overcome the dark side of your awakening?
  21. @Anton_Pierre for me the most effective one was Jage, colombian version of Ayahuasca. Very little visuals, mostly energetic work. Felt like a lot of impure energy was pulled out of me
  22. @arlin the guy who did Reiki on me told me if you want to get into reiki you will get an iniciation. Which means they do Reiki on you. There's probably chance to learn it yourself but i guess that will be pretty tricky without a real teacher present
  23. I also had Reiki sessions, 3 of them in the course of 1 week. My mind, since the 3rd session, is so incredibly silent. And there is a lot of space between my awareness and thought. I feel so much more calm, clear headed and focused. My meditation has also skyrocket. Incredible tool. Careful if you look for someone giving Reiki, there are alot of fakers and scams out there
