  1. for deep friendships you (and them) have to open up your deeper layers. start asking questions about their lifes and how they rly feel about it, for example ask them what they are struggeling with? what do they love? opinions about polarizing subjects? key is to have genuine interest to get to know the other person. Don't judge them for what they say, feel or do, keep an open mind and have some emphaty. you could start by carefuly sharin something personal about yourself and see if there is a spark of genuine interest on their side. Observe attentively, but be careful not to overanalyze. good luck
  2. Yesterday night I smoked some DMT I weighted 40mg on my scale and split it in 2 (one part a little bit bigger than the other). First I smoked to smaller part - smooth transition, CEV's, same "rooms" which I have entered in previous trips, smooth exiting in a quiet meditative state. After the peak wore off I loaded the pipe again. Right when I felt that this one's gona be deeper than the previous one I started cramping up and getting anxiety. To my surprise it got pretty personal. It took me into a place which I have known from Ayahuasca. It took me a while to relax into the experience, eventually I did. I let myself dissolve into the weird sensations and got to what I would call my subtle energy body. There I could see where trauma was stored in which body parts. It felt like the DMT was working on the traumas (just like back then with Aya) which felt unconfortable but healing at the same time. Unfortuanly, since smoked, it only lasted for a couple of minutes. Today I feel super sensitive and in need of silence. Anyone had similar experiences like this one? Thoughts?
  3. I'm reading the book "persuing consciousness" atm. In the book the Peter Ralston (the author) says the following, which makes sense to me. He makes a clear distinction between enlightenment and transformation. Often people think that one includes the other, this is not a given. He defines enlightenment as "becoming conscious of whats actually true". Classic enlightenment referst to becoming conscious of the truth about Self and what Reality is. This realization does not necessarily bring change or transformation with it, it is simply knowing whats true. Even thought in most cases when someone has an enlightenment experience, some aspect of the mind changes but by far not all of it. Following: just because your aware of what the Truth is does not make you the best version of yourself
  4. Experiment with it and find out what works for you. You can try in each phase of a trip to check in on yourself to see how you feel with music and without music. It might even change from trip to trip what kind of music you like to listen and when to listen.
  5. He should be willing to learn for himself not for you, otherwise this will be a dead-end anyway if theres no genuine interest coming from his place why do you want to convince him so badly? ask that yourself. That's quite unhealthy behaviour. Recognize the suffering you create. Understanding this will help you. provide the resources you think are good for him, but let him make the decision if he takes it, and if so, how far he will take it.
  6. I just listened to this.. Listened and watched deeply. this guy speek from a place of love. Can you spot it?
  7. a calm mind finally sent application for a job, was heavily procrastinating playing with cats the open and innocent gaze of the child next to me on the train uplifting music
  8. depending. Every person can react differtently to different substances. if you're new to psychedelics start off with the ones which proven themselfs to give good results like LSD, Psilocybin mushrooms do a whole bunch of research on how to prepare yourself for a trip, set and setting, dosages ect. ect. and don't forget that you don't get cured most of the times but rather get an understanding of your condition which you'll have to integrate in daily life
  9. If you want permission you probably have to ask him in private message
  10. Can totaly relate to this one. Also happened to me on NN DMT. It felt like "I" was created out of complete nothingness in a matter of seconds. First time when the process of recreation happened I was able to recognize and decided to let go of it and dissolve again and stayed in beeing nothing in particular for a little longer, second time "I" was built completly again, from body to mind and identity. Stunning to witness the process in action
  11. @JonasVE12 You can use almost anything as meditation practice. Yes you can train your attention by focusing on the notes, or the sound coming out of playing these notes, or feeling the sensation in your hands of playing the strings, looking at your hands playing, and so on and so on. Apply this to all kinds of activities you do, one key is to be very mindful to where you put your attention. You can practice meditation with all of your senses all throughout the day, this is how you can bring meditation into your daily life beyond the cushion
  12. @Nahm Sounds to me like you have some experience with this. When I read this something clicked. As I experienced myself as awareness more and more often and try to detatch myself from body and mind I maybe have taken it too far and created a belief like that. I'm going to contemplate on it.
  13. So in my latest trips a certain phenomena is reoccuring. It happens mainly when i go into deep silence, suddenly I get "hit" by something, like a wave. I can not see the "wave" coming, it just suddenly hits me. My whole body gets a shock, extremly intense sensations on every inch of my body. Its almost like high voltage shoots through my beeing in a split second. My mind gets kicked out of silence mod. First time I had this was on San Pedro whilst beeing in a retreat, but it only occured once there. Now started happening on mushrooms. Yesterday it happend around 8 times. I tried to surrender to it by its so too intense, my body-mind reacts with fight or flight. Im a bit puzzled by this. Has anyone experienced something like this or simmilar?
  14. cannabis is definitly psychodelic on me and expands my consciousness but most times when i smoked my mind also got quite foggy, clear and discerning thinking was not as possible like on other psychodelics, therefore others are far superior for me. Also on the following 1-2 days my mind tends to stay foggy
  15. @outlandish No I'm mostly alone while tripping. & it somehow feels like it's stabbing right in the core of my beeing, like it would obliterate my psyche if i somehow could manage to go into it. How did you find your way out of yours?
  16. @Truth Addict Interesting. Every now and then I also get a kind of instant shock that throws me out of my sleep. Other than yours mine does not creep on me over a period of time. But its hard to say how similar they are because I can't observe the shock as clearly when I'm in sleep
  17. fear of losing the progress i've made
  18. It might take more to feel differences. like loosig 1kg if you weight 150kg wont make a noticable difference, but 10, 20 or more will. btw, maybe don't even try too hard to figure out what this phenomena is/was by creating all kinds of mental theories. If something happens to you again open up, observe closely. Your answere will more likley pop up in the experience itself just my 50cents ;P
  19. Very interesting experiment. A friend of mine did the same a while back. He told me how much more he appreciated it afterwards and how big the differenct between with meditation and without is, good reminder for him Tanks for posting
  20. I agree with SunnyNewDay, thats very likley old stuff coming to the surface. When big chunks come up that can cause sensations and experiences like you've never felt before. If something like this happend to me I see it as a good thing. This is how purification works
  21. @MM1988 some truth can reveal itself in front of you just as real like the computer screen you see right now in front of you. Often enough the mind shuts completly silent in one of these unconverings. If you're in a high state of consciousness, your mind very clear is and you discover a truth, it's quite easy to see what a thought is and what not
  22. 30 day's without any experience in a shorter solo retreat will probably knock you off. go for 1 week instead and work your way up
  23. Great story ? thanks for sharing. Beeing in such a situation on acid, puhh.. I image to be hella intense. In a couple of days i will leave the city, pack my tent and go camping in nature. Haven't done this since last summer, i rly have a strong craving for Nature. And I'm going to bring a bunch of psychodelica too.
  24. @arlin Have tried stop listening music for a while? + learn to Stay indifferent with your thoughts, you cannot fight a cloud, you'll just create more of them & I remember an older thread on "earworms" (music stuck in ur head), look that up, u'll maybe find something useful
