I did mention what I said here is based on extroverts I've met in my life, and I could say I've met quite a few. Plus there's all the ones you see in the entertainment industry all over social media & Youtube. If there's extroverted enlightened people out there, then I'm glad, that's breaking news for me
-
Hmm maybe, but what's the point of telling me that? You've deflected everything I said and switched the focus onto me. This conversation isn't about me, its about what you said. Exactly. That's fine though, if you don't want to look for it then your points are invalid unless you show proof.

@Average Investor Good points. Yes from what I know, he seems to have this idea that you're taking money directly from another individual. But I actually see it as taking money from a pool of money that other investors have contributed to. So that would include other retail investors, institutions, etc. Similar to Casino games, you're taking money from the Casino if you win, or essentially you're just taking money from the pool of money that other players have lost. Although, I would say it is more of a "theft" if its a low-cap stock or cryptocurrency that promises huge upside potential. For example if one investor hold most of the supply of a specific stock/crypto, then 10-20 other investors buy in then the one who holds the most dumps his stock. That would be an example of a pump & dump, but that's completely different from what we're talking about.

No, that's what you believe should happen. It doesn't have to be that way, I could just leave it at that and go on my way. And I actually quoted your whole entire post so that means I disagree with everything you said. But you asked so why not. You mean the 1 guy and the other 0.1 from RendHeaven? Good job you got a whopping 1.1 people agreeing with you. Perhaps you're projecting your own identity onto him? (uh oh, I shouldn't have said this, here comes the bragging about your belief of what stage you think you're at on the spiral) Video link with timestamp or forum link to support this? Video link? I've been listening to Leo since 2014 and watched the majority of his videos, I haven't exactly heard him call anyone stupid from what I remember, but I have heard him use the word "stupidity." For example he would say something like, "Do you see the stupidity here?" And that's with the context of people misinterpreting what he says in his videos, like what you're doing here. From what I know he doesn't call anyone stupid for having a different belief system than him. I'd love to see you share a video link where he says that. He's clearly not a closed-minded individual. Have you listened to his videos in full? Or did you come from the Actualized.orgs clips channel? I can sort of agree here but that doesn't mean anything, that's just who he is and that's his own personal approach. If you don't like it then stop watching his videos, simple. You want him to change who he is just to fit your little needs? You want him to be all happy and cute and dancing with a colorful background? What I can say about this is that he has a blunt personality, that's probably just who he is. That will resonate with some, but not all. It definitely resonates with me, I have a blunt personality myself. Plus his other couple thousand viewers resonate with it as well, but out of nowhere "thisintegrated" joins the Actualized.org forum on May 8th with his 64 posts and complains about Leo's personality. You don't seem like you're in Tier 2 (like you claim) if you're going to criticize someone's personality. I think his serious/blunt personality is absolutely appropriate for his channel and what he teaches. If you don't like it then why watch? Why don't you make your own Youtube channel and show us how its done? Video link with timestamp The "(Or at least that's what I've come to expect from him)" proves a huge point here. You've constructed your own exaggerated idea of Leo in your own mind and turned him into some serious, shallow cult leader who is "Orange." You did the same thing with Elon Musk, you turned Elon into a God probably because you love him so much You know the drill, video link with timestamp please.

Lol dude, I'm reading this and its like you're just making this shit out of nowhere, just like how you did with Elon Musk. I don't see the objectivity in your opinions. This seems more like an over-exaggeration of Leo's character rather than an objective opinion.

For the most part I agree with and learn from pretty much everything he says in his videos. Personally, over the past several years of listening to him, there hasn't been a point where I would disagree or get offended by anything he has said, I keep an open mind. His teachings when it comes to metaphysics, epistemology, spirituality, psychology, etc. are almost flawless in my opinion. But I do have one comment to make, being an Actualized.org forum member it seems to me that he somewhat has a lack in the area of finance, specifically investing & trading. Economics as well perhaps, although I don't have the full picture of his understanding. I'm not the one to criticize Leo, but after listening to Leo's interpretation video I'm sure that he appreciates everyone's feedback (as long as its not a misinterpretation ). And obviously Leo isn't a financial guru, so it's understandable that he hasn't mastered all areas of life, he even admits it himself. Although, Leo does have a successful business of course and most likely makes more than most of us here, but there's always room for improvement. In Leo's "Money Psychology" video, he mentions that his Dad was very entrepreneurial and tried all sorts of business schemes but had many failed attempts I believe, which lead to his Dad making money but then losing it all and trying over and over again, affecting their family's living situation in the process. I think that it's this point which leads Leo to be dismissive about these sorts of pursuits (investing, day trading, etc.) Leo also mentions the story of his family's financial situation in his recent video, "How Survival Shapes Who You Are." So it seems to me that Leo basically holds this attitude of, "If my Dad failed with it then it doesn't work." Or these are just "money traps" designed to get your money. I doubt Leo has personal experience with trading, but he watched his Dad do it so now he holds strong opinions about it, which I would say are quite subjective. Opinions such as, "trading is the same thing as betting red or black on the roulette table" or in one video from what I remember he said something like "Don't play the stock market because there's someone else who has psychic ability who will play the markets better than you and get your money!" Maybe his Dad played the markets based on luck so this probably lead Leo to believe this. Leo spreads this bitterness on the forums about day-trading by locking threads and sharing his opinions which leads to a couple other forum members adopting his beliefs on day-trading as well, now we got a handful of people who spit on anyone who mentions trading. It is understandable though that this is a high-consciousness forum and we should pursue higher conscious ways of making money, but it seems that day trading is singled out specifically because his Dad tried it one time and it didn't work so they had to light candles in the house. I don't see Leo bad-mouthing anyone talking about Amazon FBA or drop shipping, huh, weird. Believe it or not, you can look at the fundamentals of why a security or commodity will go up in value and take trades based on the fundamentals. You can't study why the ball will hit red or black in roulette. In trading you could also study the psychology of where people are buying & selling by looking at certain supply & demand zones. Not possible in roulette. Understandable though, day-trading specifically is difficult but not impossible to make a living from it, it takes skill and a lot of time put into it like anything else. I wouldn't exactly recommend day-trading but I do recommend swing-trading which is more of a longer-term approach, we might even call it shorter-term investing. I do agree that trading in general is gambling, but its a form of gambling, you can increase your odds of success with study and practice. Plus you can treat it as a game of luck, but it doesn't have to be that way. With Casino games, your odds are already laid out for you and there's no changing it. It's also understandable that Leo promotes the idea of creating a source of income by providing value to the world rather than being a leech. But anything that allows us to earn money independently without a boss, I would consider a step above working a job, as long as you're not deliberately scamming people.

This is a bit of an old thread that has been bumped but I still hope that this event could happen some time soon, especially now that most restrictions are being lifted. @Leo Gura Any updates on this?

@Matt23 Vancouver here, yes definitely. Looking at the weather app right now and wow, 38°C & 39°C this Sunday and Monday, I don't think we've ever experienced the high 30s ever before out here. This heat is literally like LA weather from what I remember. 20 to 28°C was an average day for us in the Summer

Or is it just a matter of coincidence? In religion or Christianity/Catholicism specifically, its always about "God is watching over you" or "Your guardian angels are watching over you" sort of thing. But in terms of spirituality or the absence of religion, what explains the circumstances of our life working out in our favor? For example, Bob wants to live a life of crime to make some money, but then some sort of traumatic event occurs in his life that ends up changing his decision and now he's a happy man. Or Bob wants a relationship with a specific toxic female but then it ends up going terribly wrong and doesn't work out for them in the end. There's always certain events in our lives that change the direction of our lives in a way that we don't actually want but it ends up being what's best for us down the road. What explains this?

Yes that is what I’m asking and that’s a better way to put it. And I didn’t call anything good or bad, that’s why I put quotation marks on the word “good.” -

@Nightwise Yeah if you haven't seen Leo's recent thread, apparently there's been a loss of data that removed 2 days worth of activity on the forum. A little odd how it happened with this thread being started along with a couple other vaccine discussion threads, but I doubt it was intentional. Also this thread was locked because it was "turning into anti-vax garbage." Wouldn't mind if the discussion kept going now that the thread is open and the "anti-vax" comments have been removed but I guess we'll see what happens. Here's Leo's thread: -
Tell me, when have I ever said him giving a shit or not giving a shit is related to his personal stage on the spiral or even related to spiral dynamics in general? I mentioned that he doesn’t give a shit because you said this: So the fact that we’re talking about he doesn’t give a shit eliminates the idea that his actions are for the good of his reputation. What else is there that you’re going to assume about Elon? After the Anonymous video, I think he’s done tweeting about crypto. In the Joe Rogan podcast, Elon mentions that he wants to get rid of all his belonging because he doesn’t want to be a “target.” So I’m sure he doesn’t want to be a target for a pretty well known hacker group as well. Also if you look at his recent tweet replies, he acknowledges that the Anonymous video exists, he mentions he’s going back to the regular tweets about Tesla, and he also removed his BTC Saylor Moon troll profile picture the day of the Anon video.
-
Pretty big news today, check this out: Like I was saying, his actions are upsetting a lot of people and he doesn't give a shit https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9655941/Hacking-group-Anonymous-issues-warning-Elon-Musk-claiming-power-influence-Bitcoin-prices.html

Lately he's been tweeting about CumRocket Yeah, I don't think its ever been confirmed that he holds any Doge, even though he keeps tweeting about it. I doubt he holds CumRocket also. Possibily though. He's ruining his reputation though "manipulating" the markets, a lot of people are losing money and getting angry at him because they don't think for themselves and they buy at the next Elon doge or Bitcoin tweet. Someone asked him on Twitter about this and he doesn't really seem to care. Heard some people wanted to purposely short Tesla, Elon's Twitter comments often filled with angry people who lost money, people releasing crypto shitcoins called "STOPELON" or "F**KELON." tfw set take profit before bed to autosell shares at $47 then waking up to price at $70+ missing out on $3K+ profit tfw bought back shares all-in at $72 at pre-market, didn't set stop loss cause thought price would bounce but it dumped all the way to $45 so panic sold and price bounced to $50 tfw the money I lost from when price went from $72 to $45 was from my long-term crypto holdings that I sold from my hard wallet tfw bought in Friday yesterday, set stop loss before bed and no take profit this time but woke up to price not doing shit staying at $50 Hopefully the squeeze continues next week or hopefully the actual squeeze begins soon. #Nakedshorts trending on Twitter, think that might contribute to a further pump next week. No comment on Bill Gates, I don't follow him and don't really know too much about him other than the fact that he's the co-founder of Microsoft, his recent divorce, and that he pretty much predicted an upcoming pandemic 6 years ago on a Ted-Talk. Jeff Bezos is definitely Orange and I wouldn't say emerging Yellow, but again easy to confuse Orange with Yellow or Yellow with Orange since they share many similarities. I would say he may potentially have some emerging Green, mainly because of the fact that he's so focused on the customer and the customer's experience with his work, that's why Amazon is so successful. Free Amazon Prime for 30 days! Fast shipping times! Same-day shipping! Easy refunds, easy returns! Excellent customer support team! wtf I still think that it runs deeper than this, there's too much to take into consideration, there's too many factors at play and it's not as simple as "oh he's smart because of autism and autism only!" Everyone is unique and has their own unique situations in life that contributes to how a person turns out to be. So, question, do you believe everyone or most people in Tier 2 or higher has some form of autism? Do you have autism or some form of it? Is that one of the reasons why you would post this thread? Explain those who are higher up the spiral who don't have these mild or "healthy" forms of autism? To be honest I don't really like hearing or using the word "autism" it's just a bit unpleasant for me, so just to let you know I may or may not continue to reply or contribute to this thread.

Which is why I mention introverted personality types, socializing or going out is a distraction to be honest. Staying indoors and having a natural interest for learning new ideas through books, videos, etc. definitely results in one developing their intellect. I'm still not convinced this is a result of autism itself, perhaps most intelligent autists tend to be introverted. In fact, it is said that Elon is an INTP. So rather than his intellect being a result of his autism I'd say its a result of his introverted nature. I mean, just explain all the autists who aren't "intelligent"? To be blunt, there's more dysfunctional autists in the world rather than the Elon Musk type. What about Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates? It is said that they're Orange and they're in their 50s & 60s. Bill Gates is pretty smart, I don't see anyone saying he's Yellow. The idea about retiring whenever, I've noticed from a lot of successful people that they often times choose to continue working even though they're financially free, especially when they're working on something they're passionate about. You would think that people with billions of dollars would retire and sit on a beach sipping Piña coladas but I don't think that's the case. Even Jeff Bezos said so in an interview, the interviewer asked him "Why not just sit on a beach?" Jeff said, "Why would I?" And keep in mind Jeff is Orange, so being Orange doesn't mean he's just going to retire now that he's the richest or one of the richest in the world, it's the passion that keeps him going. It's nice to take breaks but it should only be something that happens once in a while, if you take a break your whole life it gets a bit boring. So that's one reason that would explain why Elon Musk continues to work. Oh okay, I guess I'm myopic for not following him religiously like you probably do. You know the color of his undies too? He is manipulating the markets, that's what's happening on the surface. But to say what you're saying and saying those are his true intentions behind it is more of an assumption or speculative bet I would say, unless he's actually said that himself. It's news to me though that he's against shorting, so that would make sense. But how is that an example of Yellow? You're saying it like he's looking out for the greater good but he has only publicly expressed his issues with it when hedgies shorted Tesla. Maybe he is looking out for the greater good but other than that possibility, we should know that of course he's against it because it affects his own personal gain. Understanding someone's true intentions behind their actions is important for us to figure out what stage they're at, but if there's no clear evidence for it then its just speculation. And to call the short squeeze an example of Yellow? Don't even lie, all the apes, sure we might be doing this to get back at the hedge funds but at the end of the day 95% of them are in it for the money. $70+ today, that's crazy. I fucked up, set a take profit today before I went to bed and it sold my position too early. Missed out on a couple thous

@Max_V And I ask "why" exactly do people think so? Sure he's a highly complex, intelligent, interesting individual. And he's one of the richest people on the planet for a reason, he's changing the world with his work, he's definitely working with some very advanced technology. But the question is, are Orange people not capable of being like this as well? Is it that Orange people just seen as shallow individuals who like to chase materialistic success? When people think of Orange do they only think of Tai Lopez or Dan Bilzerian? Elon seems to be a very scientific and business-minded individual. He's also been manipulating the cryptocurrency markets lately. These are a few reasons why I would say he could just be a high-level Orange, and these are also reasons why I want to know exactly why people would say he's "Yellow." I certainly think that Orange can be at the level Elon is at so I question. @thisintegrated Something I'd like to add to this conversation, I don't know where you got these ideas that lead you to believe autism or Asperger's is linked to intelligence or becoming "Yellow", my understanding has always been that intelligence is directly linked to people's personality type. Basically put, its commonly known that introverts are likely to be more intelligent, philosophical, etc. But you're basically saying here that intelligence and a stage on the spiral is linked to a mental disorder/disability? Why is that so? I see Spiral Dynamics more as a measurement of one's level of consciousness, so I don't exactly understand how exactly a slight mental disorder could lead someone to become "smart" or lead them to raise their level of consciousness in order to move up the spiral. From my perspective that's sort of like saying social anxiety is linked to one's level of intelligence or people with social anxiety are smarter than the average person. I've definitely seen a few sources on the internet where people mention Asperger's is linked to intelligence but I don't know if that's an actual fact. So I'm just asking some questions. How is Asperger's linked with raising someone's level of consciousness?
-
Elon admit to having Asperger's specifically, I think that's important to note here. Although, I guess people put both autism & Asperger's in the same category, but I think there may be several differences between the two. I see autism or "classical" autism as more of a mental disability whereas Asperger's has many similarities to "classical" autism but it also may be what you're describing here. Also, if you've watched previous interviews with Elon Musk its pretty clear he does have some speech difficulties. Watch Elon's interview with Joe Rogan, you'll notice that he often stutters with his words. What exactly makes you believe that Elon is Yellow? I obviously don't know Elon personally but I see him more as a high, healthy Orange. It's easy for us to confuse Yellow & Orange because there's many similarities between the two. And its not always easy for us to label others and figure out where they fall under the spiral. There is a possibility though he is Yellow, I'm just curious as to why you and other people think so.
-
@thisintegrated I don't see the connection? Other than the fact that both an autist & a tier 2 person may have some troubles when it comes to social interactions but that's about it. What's your definition of autism? I see autism basically as a mental disorder that causes people to be hypersensitive to their environment, and it also causes difficulty in social situations. And of course, there's levels to it, mild to severe levels of autism. Being smart is not a characteristic of autism. It's possible that you've met a couple autistic people that are smart and now you believe it is a characteristic but I don't believe so. In elementary school my class and I had to volunteer and work with autistic "special needs" kids for a bit, are they smart? No not exactly, they couldn't function properly in life and do basic things that the average human can do. But, I did have a girl in my elementary class who may have had a mild case of autism and she was one of the smartest students in the class. She would always flap her hands in excitement for no reason as if she were shaking some imaginary liquid off of them. Although, that doesn't mean being smart is a characteristic of autism. Some characteristics of autism: unusual behavior, repetitive habits, social difficulty, emotional sensitivity, difficulty processing physical sensations, sensitivity to its environment. Back to what I was saying earlier about tier 2 people possibly having trouble in social interactions, I wouldn't say social difficulty IS a characteristic or trait of tier 2 but they're more likely to have some difficulty in social situations due to the fact that Yellow specifically might become a hermit and choose not to develop any sort of relationship with anyone. Of course, what happens when someone decides not to socialize with anyone? They won't be working on their social skills and their social skills start to deteriorate. I see the reason for social withdrawal in most situations as just a characteristic of being introverted. And I believe most people who make it to tier 2 are usually introverted. This thread sort of bothers me, it reminds me of a toxic friend that I recently cut off from my life. It was silly of me to assume he had the same level of knowledge or understanding of life as me, I told him about my behavior as an introvert, how I would withdraw from certain social situations, and he pretty much labelled it as "autism." One night he asked me if I was slightly autistic, and that just got my blood boiling because of how ignorant and offensive of a question that is. That was the first sign that showed me he's a toxic friend. We later talked about this and just turns out he just doesn't understand what "introvert" or what "autism" means. But then more signs of toxicity showed up. Anyways, in conclusion no I don't see any connection here. I think based on the people you've met in your life it lead you to draw these specific conclusions of the characteristics of autistic people and tier 2 people.

Why would it be dumb? It's worth a try. I don't think its a silly trend that will pass, I think its the future of collectibles, the future is digital. Sure the hype around it right now is probably dying out, but NFTs are here to stay. Just like crypto, hype gains momentum, dies out, hype comes back, on repeat. But just because the initial hype dies out doesn't mean NFTs are done forever and will disappear off the planet like it never existed. There's tons of NFT projects that are being worked on right now as we speak. Initial hype with anything always dies out, but as the project or technology for whatever it is continues to develop, then users start coming back and start to stick around for it. To say NFTs is a silly trend that will pass is like saying Youtube in 2005 is a silly trend that will pass. "A platform for individuals to upload their own videos? Pshh, silly trend." Nope, you see how huge Youtube became. All you needed to do is wait for some time to pass, allow the platform to grow then the users start pouring in.

I feel that I have a decent amount of understanding on this topic but I wanted to create this thread to maybe get a discussion going, share some of my insights, and read some of your insights for us to further understand the deeper psychology of why people become toxic in any sort of relationship. Personally I've been quite a bit of a toxic person in the past when I started to get into pickup, but its gotten a lot better now that I quit and several years has passed since then. Although, I will say that this behavior within' me hasn't completely vanished and I might say things in a subtle way to try and get some sort of result out of it from time to time, specifically with women. Often times I may be aware of this but its not always clear to me in the moment, its only clear after the fact. I mention this because personal experience with something specific leads to greater understanding on the topic of it. So I honestly can understand why people tend to be manipulative/toxic within' personal relationships, and I may even have some empathy for them. Plus not only was I toxic, I've had many friends or co-workers who were toxic towards me as well and of course this behavior has bothered me. My understanding of my toxic behavior in the past is that I've had some deep rooted trauma when it comes to women, I've always had such deep feelings for a handful of women as a teen but I've never had any sort of relationship with any of them. So in my mind I was suffering deeply because of the fact that I couldn't have them in my life or any girl at all for that matter. This lead to neediness, sexual frustration, and trying to manipulate women to try and attract them. Of course it didn't work. With that being said, its pretty obvious to me that this type of toxic behavior comes from a place of trauma or insecurity. I've read a statement in an article that said something along the lines of, "gaslighting often occurs when there is an imbalance of power." While gaslighting is a common and separate form of manipulation on its own, I believe that this applies to any sort of manipulation tactic in relationships. The main intent behind manipulative or toxic behavior is to try and put yourself above others to feel a sense of superiority and to also get some sort of result with it. For example, an average guy in a relationship with a really hot girl might feel insecure about his ability to keep this girl and has a fear of losing her so he feels a need to manipulate her. Manipulation gives people a sense of control and that's what he thinks he needs, control. Low self-esteem causes him to place a low value on himself and he places a high value on her because she's hot. As a result of his low self-esteem he feels an imbalance of power. Rather than actually placing himself at a higher value than her by improving his life or self-esteem, the only thing he can turn towards is manipulation to try and put himself above her. But this feeling of superiority is inauthentic. Manipulation is quick and easy in the moment, it doesn't require us to change ourselves, we think that its a quick-fix solution and that we can get what we want with it but it ends up backfiring on us. So of course, in this scenario the girl eventually leaves him. One more example, subtle forms of manipulation often also occur within' debates/arguments. If a toxic person feels that he's losing the argument and he doesn't want to accept it, he may feel the need to try and put himself in a superior position in a manipulative way. He will gaslight, try to make the other person look stupid, downplay, create a strawman, deny, defend himself, justify, prove himself, at all costs, just to try and control the other person. It comes from a place of, "I'm not worthy of winning this argument so I will try to use toxic behavior to try and win it." In other words, they're trying to cheat their way into winning. "I'm not as intelligent as you, so I'll just try to make you look stupid." What are your thoughts on this topic, why do people feel the need become so toxic?

Been about 4-5 years since the last money psychology video would love an updated more in-depth version

I'm actually curious to see what the future holds for AI sex machines/robots. I'm guessing this will probably disrupt the sex work industry, men will turn towards paying to use sex robots instead of prostitutes, or purchase their own robot. This will probably start to become more and more common since its not illegal because robots are not humans and it wouldn't be considered prostitution. This will also decrease the spread of STIs/STDs.

Honestly you could've just worded the title in a different way such as, "Using a fleshlight to fulfill your sexual desires." Which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with "personal development." Maybe it does but personally I don't really see it. To include the words "personal development" seems like its to just throw it in there just for the sake of it. It's definitely healthy for us to fulfill our sexual desires in a way that doesn't involve us going out there, sleeping around or involving the "R" word so that we can focus on other things, but in my opinion an example of personal development in this case is to abstain from masturbation completely, in other words to go and do "NoFap." By the way I own a fleshlight, feels like the real thing, I agree its better than a hand but what does that have to do with personal development is what I'm saying.
