@Mighty Mouse You have such complete faith in your own doubt that you absolutely doubt another's faith. -

@alyra Yes, it is quite a bit of food for thought fought though be aware the mind fight doesn't make a brain fart causing heart fraught so letting go will ultimately be good for taut taught.

Then I encourage you to finish barking up that tree. Barking about no mind, no self, no ego or no brains is no sense in no duality, no shit? If all distinctions ultimately collapse in unity then right/wrong, reality/illusion and truth/false collapses ultimately. When the barking ends the silence begins or is that just another distinction that ceases to be in being 'one'? -

You are accurate in part, well, just one aspect and not really as you intended but close enough that you may understand more from it. It's really quite a significant revelation and I may have only realized it because of my own personal autodidact path to awakening. Because the 'absolute' in it's absolute form is so formless it appears as 'nothing' even though it is anything but nothing, it's the fullness of everything and missing nothing so it has no distinctions to observe in the same way that absolute nothing appears but is absolutely inverted. How one gets to be aware of it's authentic nature is through it's reflection in our consciousness from our personal experience. This is why no two descriptions of it from different people will ever be exactly the same, similar yes especially if they share common personal experience but it's revelation is as individual as each of us are. Even the way it reflects in us revealing it's nature appears to transform as we evolve mirroring our growth, it's our changing that creates this appearance of change, not it's changing. This is why I avoid describing the exact details as much as I can, I realize it's such a personal revelation only I will fully appreciate it and it may only serve to confuse others without their own awareness of the absolute. Does that make any sense? -

@blazed The challenge is communicating something indescribable. Is that an organic free range meal worm fed small farm locally-sourced egg you want me to suck? Nevermind I'm going vegan. -

Anybody can awaken to being as long as they are asleep to it, except animals, they aren't asleep to being. Yes, your dog and cat are a zen master always being, what's your excuse? Haha. -

@Faceless Gah please stop the spinning wheel my friend it will make you dizzy. I said I'm not about truth, I'm about well being... now... here. So using love with it's characteristics of acceptance, embracing, faith and surrender filling whatever may be the self dispels any fear and creates a sense of well being bringing joy, peace and fulfillment. That's it, got nothing else on it. The details about the "truth"? Well, I'm on a need to know basis and I don't need to know...so..... We cool? -
@Monkey-man What is before it....and all during it......now....so be it.
-
This begs the question to be asked.... how does one know that nothing can be known?

@Faceless The physical manifest is created through love but it is kept through fear. It is embraced, pulled together in love but it won't let go, gripped in fear. This includes self identity. -

I don't really watch Leo's videos but i did this one and it's so funny watching consciousness negotiate between the finite and infinite. Being aware of how obvious it is, how simple, it's not the 1 or 1000 hours to prepare for it, it's the it of it, the infinIT, the be now here happens in an instant, every instant, every moment of the seamless inseparable now and I can see it in his eyes, the 'mind blown' is shown. It's so funny watching the realization of trying to justify capitalism in view of enlightenment with how can a finite me take money me from another me to tell other me about infinite me to pile it in bank me to get beans me to feed body me when I am aware it's all me.... how can me justify taking me from me to hoard me for capitalism? It's so funny I'm literally laughing out loud with tears in my eyes typing it. Haha you see it! @Leo Gura InfinIT bean... er... being! Now you get it so don't forget it now as the body impedes being awareness recedes into a memory of infinity. Yes, fire the finite desire to take it's bite so make it's fight or die trying to kill the enlightening eye of awakening. Smothering coals hiding candles under bowls blind shadow screams remember dreams & goals gotta pay the tolls. Yet, hire infinite me so see clarity the feel of eternity's endless wheel unspun with nowhere to run now life's begun. Oh snap, that just popped right out. Maybe I'll call it Infinite Beans, now I need to make finite breakfast... haha -

I updated a previous post to add words I couldn't find earlier to describe the characteristic of surrender in 'love'. Which really does draw a distinction between love and fear in how fear tries to preserve separate self and won't allow the embracing in faith of infinite self that swallows up the separate self. Surrender appears as a self-less act by giving away separate self but is really continuing to collect self so it overflows the 'cup' of our individuation. In that surrender there is no limit to our cup, not an absence of our cup which why there is fear to relinquish the separate self because the mind can't see it 'edges' anymore so to speak, it's infinite self. Fear prevents the transcending of separate self to be one with all self in surrendering to the whole. -

Examine.... where does this idea to 'make life matter' come from and what does it mean for you? What are the feelings associated with it? Then break it down even more.... What does it mean to 'matter' for you? Where did that idea come from? What are the feelings of it? Where does the idea of you need to "make" it matter come from and what does it mean? Feelings of it? What memories are associated with all of the ideas and feelings? Do you agree with the ideas and feelings? What ideas and feelings do you associate with that agreement or not? Do you consciously intend to agree/not with them or is it an unconscious impulse? Are there any ideas and feelings about effects or consequences that are related to your agreement or not with them? Will changing the ideas and/or feelings surrounding it all alter it to help? If these are examined and you are made aware of the dynamics you can find your genuine inspiration and motivation to live as you intend for your life. You may find you are contented in what you are doing but expectations from others has crept in to steal your joy, if you aren't genuinely at enjoying it, figure out the actual culprit in suppressing your joy and deal with it. Changes or work with no awareness of what is going on will only make for ineffective consciousness work or possibly create more obstacles. I could tell you how it works for my life but that is like giving you the combination to my lock, not your lock and thinking it will open.

@Faceless If you are looking for truth then I've got nothing to offer you, I'm about well being. -
SOUL replied to el_duderino's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Apparently you said you have the "obvious facts" to come to those "truths", then why ask me? Just enjoy your... um... truths. -

SOUL replied to el_duderino's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Hm, well, love creates the self but fear appears to 'keep' the self, which could be interpreted as expressions with characteristics of preservation. -

@Faceless That's..... alot...... hm. It seems you weaved your way through nearly every conceivable facet of "love" in an attempt to find a unified theory of love but I'm not sure whether it really needs to be that way. Every facet of love is it's own expression of that ...hm..... prime element of "love" and has it's own characteristics of expression that are often unique to just the facet even if there is ultimately a commonality to the whole, that prime element of love. Through your winding path you wound up at the ideological and/or abstract facet, can there be love without the identity, which is essentially the awareness of being aware. Which the whole course you took was an elucidation on the many facets from that final facet's dynamic you wound up at. In that abstract facet context it appears to me that acceptance, embracing, faithful and surrender are characteristics of that facet of 'awareness of being aware' love, more than just the concept of it, the being of it. Yet, I think I would need to explain those terms I used a little or they may be misinterpreted. Acceptance meaning an allowing for, a not trying to control or being disturbed by the presence of. Which could be interpreted as agreeing with, but is more accurately seen as coexisting, if that males any sense. Agreeing with is an endorsing of and that is a mechanism of identity creating in our consciousness. What I mean by embracing is like an active acceptance, welcoming in, opening up to, including in and in that abstract sense becoming one with, merging into. Which again the identity creating in our consciousness uses a mechanism that some would characterize as the complete opposite of this and it sure does appear that way since self often is viewed as a separation. Then, there is faithful which may be the most misinterpreted of these characteristics, it isn't belief-full, as in lots of ideas and concepts believed. By faithful I mean, fidelity, true to, loyal, abiding and this may be the only characteristic of that has any resemblance to the mechanism of identity creating in our consciousness. Surrender may be the characteristic that least resembles identity creating because it is letting go of, possession less and giving away control. Although we aren't letting go to be giving up to be empty of self and self-less but to be self-full, infinite self to be merged as one with all self in unity so it appears as our separate self ceases to be in that act of surrender to all. Some may tell us we need to reject that identity creating mechanism's effect in our consciousness to really be this abstract 'love'. They tell us we need get 'no selfed' to death....so to speak. Except that if we are being observant we can see how closely the mechanism of identity creating is to this abstract love and see the characteristics of that love in every expression facet of love as well as self creating. Consciousness agrees with self to identify with it, it clings to self which is an embrace of it and it believes in self which is being faithful because it tries to remain true to the identity. They are practically indistinguishable other than in an extremely nuanced understanding of it and some may try to use that nuance to drive a wedge between them by saying there's a trap, a gotcha, don't use the wrong one! Yet, that act of viewing it with a wedge of nuanced separation has the very characteristics of what they say shouldn't be done to be "love"... see? So, yes, love created our self! Then, ask your self.... if love created our self, is there "love" possible with the self? *laughter* -
I guess you could try them all...natural...unnatural...supernatural...maybe a mix.

There needs a time and place to be! Silly monkeys..... Ready for another one? Can I get a witness! *divine laughter*

Explain how "love seems (to) be outside the realm of willful intent". Is love conditional? Well, there are characteristics that constitute what love is, they are not the same that are fear, so there are conditions that make love what love is. If you are asking is there unconditional love as far as extending and receiving it, or conditions that love can exist in then always loving is conditional since always is a condition of it being it. So unconditional love is on the condition of always loving otherwise it isn't unconditional love, ironically. I'm not sure what you mean by "in accordance to subjectivity" although if you are asking can love be subjectively assessed or is it always an objective assessed state then if it can only be objectively assessed then that would be another condition of unconditional love... so we would have to consider if unconditional love is even a thing if 'always' and 'objectively' are conditions of love. But please clarify, maybe I misunderstand you. In my own experience love is a multifaceted thing not easily defined, some of it is cultural, some biological, some ideological and some abstract so I guess I would need to understand how someone is defining 'love' to address specific concerns but for my own path i have seen transformation in my life using love in different forms of it. -

@Faceless Through wilful intention we can transform our life in dramatic ways, even the inherent self interest nature quite significantly.
