  1. @John Iverson Well, its your choice. You can decide to go through the struggle of abstaining from masturbation and one day, in the future, you no longer will have urges or...you can stay in the same path and be a slave to them. Your choice. You can also attain of unconditional okayness like I have (calmness). But that also takes work. Nothing in this life is given. You got to work for it.

  12. You want to make others feel good, so you can feel good. You want people to like you or to be indifferent to you because you dont want them to be mean to you, so, in turn, you dont suffer.

  14. @Prabhaker So, I heard Hinduism focus on practicing meditation and other techniques and that Buddhism focus on being kind to each other to attain liberation. Is this correct? Buddha did so much to attain it and he says only to love each other? Haha
  15. No, he had a daughter, he left his wife and her for attaining liberation. I dont know, I think Buddha would try to negotiate.
  16. @Prabhaker Yeah. Did he pay and focused on his education? He could have been a prince but there many who dont care about that. Also, when did he start contemplating "enlightenment" questions? Before the event that started it all?
  17. @Prabhaker So, Buddha had already in him the contemplative mindset? How much time was this after his departure?
  18. @Prabhaker Whats the most interesting thing about Buddha, in your opinion?
