  1. The work is unavoidable. If you don't do it now, you'll need to do it later. You might just as well go all the way. Once you awaken, you are truly free to be whatever you want to be. Follow your heart to the fullest and fulfill your true desires. But it's also important to take breaks, sometime you just need to stop doing spiritual stuff and live life for a bit. It's all part of the path.
  2. Anything by Andrei Tarkovsky and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
  3. @OneIntoOne Not telling you to believe or not believe anything, only to find the truth yourself. You do realize that not believing something is also a belief. The pursuit/desire of enlightenment will need to be let go of before enlightenment can happen, but it's the last step after you've let go of everything else. If your intuition tells you to forget about enlightenment since you believe it's hypnotized, then go for it and see where it leads you.
  4. @OneIntoOne In the absolute sense, everything is imagined and pretended/self-created/"hypnotized." You are God pretending to be a being that thinks enlightenment is just self-hypnosis, which in itself is self-hypnosis. It still doesn't give you any clarity in what self is and what hypnosis is. Enlightenment can be defined in many different ways, and it has many different degrees. But the definitive point for me is if you have had a direct experience in absolute source/love/nothingness and no longer have any doubt about what you are, after this point is liberation. Now the only way for you to find if this is true is if you reach that point. Same as how for you to truly know that if enlightenment is just self-hypnotization, you would have to become enlightened first. The only way out is through. So keep going. Your ego is trying to trick you into stopping doing the work. It happens often on this path.
  5. You haven't gone all the way yet, and once you do, there will be no doubt. There is a point at which all illusions stop, and absolute clarity is attained. You are having an ego backlash. It's normal. Keep going.
  6. All that can exist already do. Every possibility is explored in infinite consciousness.
  7. Try something else, there are many different forms of meditation and many different forms of spiritual practice. Some people are naturally good at meditation. Others are not. If you truly experience no joy in doing this practice or do not see any small progress, you should consider trying other practices until one clicks with you. Don't get me wrong, you need discipline in any practice to see the result, but observe your intuition and see if your heart is telling you to try other things first. Another good way to make things more interesting is to have a practice rotation of all the practices that you resonate with the most. This way, you are never bored, and you will often gain more spiritual experience since you are mastering multiple paths at once.
  8. A spiritually advanced person (yellow and above) will see it as what it is. A spiritually developing person (green) tends to form beliefs on this topic. Once you reach yellow, your mind truly starts to experience everything from a non-dual perspective. There is no absolute good or bad to anything, so if you tell them you want to make money and solve all your survival problems, they will encourage it as long as it's healthy. Anyone who gets to yellow will understand the complexity of everything. There is no experience in life that's ever wasted, so one should follow their heart's true desire, and naturally, it will help them grow. So it is not that all spiritual people have this belief, but that most of the more vocal/active "spiritual" people are at stage green. If you go talk to a group of stage yellow and above, the conversation will be very different.
  9. This is ego backlash. It is normal. Keep going and follow your heart.
  10. Do both! Everything you do is a part of the path. Follow your heart, no experience is wasted.
  11. Through consciousness and technological advancement. Eventually, we will have technologies that can manipulate things on the atomic level. Potentially materializing anything we want, we might make a Dyson sphere to convert energy from the sun to any resources we need. This will equalize all material to the same value since there is no more scarcity. Thus there will be no need for money. To reach this level, we would have solved the unified field theory in physics, which will lead to the birth of many technologies that currently only exist in sci-fi novels. But it will also enable us the power to create weapons that are exponentially more powerful than what we have now. So we need most of the population to develop consciously to a point where we will not make or use these technologies for war and ends up killing everyone. If we reach that point, we will be able to work together as a whole and explore the universe as a higher-tier civilization.
  12. It is a state of being. The sense of self expands infinitely to includes all of existence. When you are aware of being all of existence/nothing/God, they all become love because you are all of it. It cannot be fully described with words, it can only be experienced.
  13. Sounds like you almost had an OBE. The vibration and loud sound are stages before going out of the body. It's good. Not everyone can just do it without practice and intention. Sometimes it can just happen for some. You might want to look into astral projection and lucid dreaming and use them as spiritual practices. I've had full DMT-level experience with lucid dreaming. You might be naturally good at OBE, so I recommend exploring them more.
  14. One's value in society is determined by the amount of value one can provide to others. I don't think attractiveness is the only thing that determines the value of someone in society. Tho this thread seems to be defining value as attractiveness, and it's very generalized. I think things like attractiveness and beauty or even value are deeply subjective. Personally, I am most attracted to how someone makes me feel, and as a guy, I know I'm quite different. It's not that I'm not attracted to looks; I'm just more attracted to feelings. I could meet someone who is a 10 and feel nothing when I interact with them. Attraction to me is almost instinctive. A person's facial features communicate a lot about the person's identity and energy. When I meet someone for the first time, within the first few seconds, I will feel something about this person just by looking at them. They don't have to be super good-looking or anything, and attraction can just happen. It's quite mysterious, like an energetic match. There is a deep sense of self-similarity/love when it happens. I even think it could be a way higher-self communicates with us. It's like the self who has lived through all possible life paths knows the one that creates the most love/beauty, and it's communicating through intuition. For me, every time one of these true attractions/connections happens, I am pushed closer to what I truly desire through it. I think the highest value person is someone who is confident, charming, caring, smart, and attractive to you—Hince someone who is fully developed. I think as you move up the spiral, what you value and your attraction changes too. I think at yellow and above, people tend to want someone who is on the same level consciously and shares a deep sense of understanding, connection, and love, or they'd rather just be alone. But since most of the population is not at yellow, society as a whole is mostly indulging mostly in the physical to gain experience and move up the spiral. A more developed society will value different things.
  15. I started when I was 14. Just follow your heart and try everything that piques your interest. Learn to have discipline and consistency when it comes to spiritual practice, but also enough awareness to know if a method is not for you and try something else when needed. Suppose you have a stable life now and in the near future. You can really focus on spirituality if you desire to reach awakening. It can help with all aspects of your life as you do this work. It's a meta-skill that can improve your life greatly. Your brain is still developing and flexible, so use this time to learn and gain a deeper understanding of reality to form holistic perspectives. Live life and do the work, have patience and have fun; you'll get there in time.
  16. Tho there is no end to personal development, there is a definitive point that limiting beliefs, grief, fear, insecurities, and shadow work as a whole reach an end. Where most of your experience will no longer be affected by any of it, it happens when you are fully developed and awakened. So follow your heart and keep working at it.
  17. The first duality is the duality between duality and nonduality. Which is an infinite strange loop that sits at the root of all causality in existence.
  18. @trenton The concept of experience itself is rooted in the self. If you do not exist, then what is experience? The ultimate question of anything will always be "What am I?" because everything hinges upon this. Notice how non of the questions matter if you do not exist because they all rely on your existence. If you want deeper insights, you need to ask more meta-questions, you can go much deeper. What is observation itself? What is existence itself? What is the concept of truth itself? for example. Self-inquiry is a good method for you if you are more intellectual-minded. Keep asking questions about one thing until there are no more questions to ask. It is possible to have deep spiritual awakenings through inquiry alone. You are not gonna even scratch the surface if you are only doing 30 minutes of meditation. If you want to gain more profound experiences, Either you have to increase your practice intensity or try other things (psychedelics, yoga, breath work, other spiritual practices) until one gives you a glimpse of higher consciousness. Once you have a glimpse, you will naturally realize how limited the materialistic paradigm is and began the journey to true spirituality. Your belief in science/rationality is mainly rooted in the lack of direct spiritual experiences. Do the work and verify everything as a true scientist would. If you want to know with 100% certainty what reality is and how it works, the only way is through direct experience of awakening into higher consciousness. Science will not lead you there because it is deeply limited.
