  1. it is a tragedy for everyone involved isn't it, for the laugh at another is to laugh at yourself. but at the same time it's grounds for an amazing lesson. I'm truly amazed in your honesty, that in itself shows you've already learned so much from this. I want to expand on that laughing to oneself thing because I've found out personally that it never really stops, you think you've learned so much with spirituality, then you learn amazing stuff again, and then you understand even bigger things, and each time your mind and perspective get expanded beyond your imagination... There is no limit, this is contact with infinite intelligent energy and expansion, as such is the nature of the universe. I say this only as an example, but let's say in 3 months you will have learned so much stuff and you'll look back at yourself now and think ''I was ignorant, I was a fool compared to now.'' Then 6 months later, you feel this way again, this time towards the person you were 3 months later, ''wow and I thought I knew stuff, I was so ignorant'' then 9 months later you're so advanced you're again tempted to go back and ridicule the person you were. What I'm trying to say is that it never ends, if you judge someone's lower consciousness you will forever be judging your own lower consciousness as you evolve. There's infinity to evolve, there is no place of perfection, as such you can forever be busy with judging others and yourself included or you can let go. the ego is addicted to standing above others, it is a very powerful process, if we can respect the power of the ego, we can start to understand it, and not identify with it, we can start to dissipate it. now that I've stopped judging others,I've stopped judging myself, at least to a whole other degree. I can feel that you're very conscious of your actions, as such, you'll do great, this was a nice exchange
  2. I'd say it's about being really conscious about your intentions and what goes on inside when you're reaching out to others. Did you feel you were genuinely trying to help him or did you feel like you were more involved with your ego when you were talking to him? I certainly do not judge, it's from our mistakes that we learn, and maybe you were trying to really help him, and in that case you did amazing
  3. there's only one thing that matters for me. where you reaching out for him out of a place of love or a place of ego and fear? that is the only deciding factor that should govern your behavior. If it's out of genuine love you can go around and scream and try to enlighten every single person you see and care about, if it's out of love then you are aligned with your higher self, and aligned with the universe itself and amazing things will unfold from that. if you tried to help him because you saw him last night and you were judging him and pitying him and you felt so much 'advanced' because you didn't drink and smoke nothing, so you felt like putting him straight then you will bring about a negative vibration of fear and ego. it's up to you to recognize when you're acting out of love and out of fear. I'd like to put my 2 cents, that change happens by love, you can't change someone by making them despise who they are right now. you tried to make him change by making him feel bad about his life right now, about the person that he is right now. there are other ways you can make people change, you could try to engage with him into a hobby, you could try to support him in his most dearest dreams and passions, try to get him more involved with his own personal passions. If you do that he will be more motivated about life and you'll see that from his own he will make decisions that are more healthy in regards to his life. don't try to help people with 'reasons' and 'logic', help them by making them feel good, the logic of the heart is the logic of the universe if you want no war, be about peace. if you don't want your friends to be about unhealthy stuff, be about healthy stuff yourself, shine the example without judgement
  4. is it really a fight if you expect it? a real hero's fight is not a game, it is not a fight either, when suddenly everything is on the line, when there is real danger to the things you love then you have to defend it, it's less about fighting then it is about caring about the things you value. fights can come into various forms. I think I have an idea what you feel though, you want to give it your all, you want be alive. that is possible even with daily life, and I'd say the the toughest fights don't happen on the ring but outside it. it can be a mundane thing like smiling at a stranger, helping out a friend, not getting angry at someone that is irritating you. the strongest people are the ones who can live in this world and smile and be kind onto others. we all know how easy it is to get irritated and negative and aggravated with this world. what does it take to do away with all that, and even love this world for what that is? this is a fight on a psychic ring of immense magnitudes. that is my personal fight, to never acknowledge division, to see harmony everywhere, and what was once called evil, is no more
  5. it is my goal to describe the way I experience the present moment so that you can all draw your own personal conclusions. One thing that stuck with me in spirituality is that you should be able to be happy anywhere you are, no matter who you're with. Meaning that when you walk alone on the street you should be able to be completely satisfied just walking alone on the street. I know understand why this is possible. Everything has so so much detail in the present moment. If you take a psychedelic and suddenly see the world in interesting ways this is the way the world is seen in the present moment, always. The pavement feels alive, sounds evolve, everything looks like the most beautiful piece of art you've ever seen, and it is. Because you literally switch dimensions, to live in the present is to experience an entirely different world. this is the best description I can give of change of world in the present moment. Everything has more dimension, more weight, more uniqueness. You know what you're looking at, but you know it's different then before. One can say both these images represent the same thing, but yet they are entirely different. If you viewed the world like the first image, and then you view it like the second image, is it really the same world? it merely shares the same ''blueprints'' but it has nothing to do with the previous. There's so much dimension to everything and myself that in proportion nothing changed,I'm not taller then lets say a building, but I feel a hundred times much taller then I used to be. Because the building became taller too. the proportions stay the same, but I feel and I know that this world is so much bigger then the one I used to live in a year ago. sometimes when a group of people pass by, it is so mesmerizing, it's like completely out of this world, the speed, the dimensions involved, it's like you'd be looking at a bunch of asteroids fly by in space. cars are cars, but they're so detailed and alive, they look like alien spacecraft with a unique personality. the sound of a car going by is like sci-fi sound now compared to before. where I want to get to guys,is that you can fully trust the present moment. leave your worries behind, there is infinity in the present moment, you can be completely ecstatic and live an insane adventure just walking on the street, your regular job can become a place of infinite magic. it is never about what you see and experience, there are infinite layers of reality behind your current reality, available to be explored
  6. probably too much pressure on yourself. you know that if you start you will relapse to your old habits (which is normal) and you will judge yourself harshly. change by having contempt for where you are right now is toxic and it puts a huge amount of pressure. change is gradual, it is not a switch, therefore you can't change efficiently if you just want to jump ship and adopt a shiny new identity while throwing the ''old you'' in the trash. change needs to be about acceptance, you accept that you desire to change but you also accept who you are right now, this may sound paradoxal but it really isn't. We don't change because there is something wrong with us, we change because that is the nature of life, life is ever-changing, so is the universal, it is the natural cosmic flow, it is not trying to get somewhere while having contempt for everything else one can change while completely accepting where he is right now. why will he change if he accepts where he is completely? because that is simply the flow of life
  7. every soul is on its journey and everyone is on a certain ''enlightened level''. certain people can be enlightened above average but not be aware of it consciously, from the past experience of their previous lives they act by instinct in enlightened behaviors and concepts. so don't only look at those who are into spirituality and the likes. I went to a spiritual session with a shaman a few weeks and I could immediately tell she was a lot more enlightened then me. I'd compare enlightened people to energy, it was like she was acting from this deep sea, her movements were slower but much more meaningful and powerful, her expressions seemed ''slower'' too , more paced, tuned into her own emotions. eyebatting is a definite physical sign. enlightened people bat their eyes much more slower then others, I've experienced it myself with my evolution, I know recognize how fast others bat their eyes compared to me, whereas before this wasn't the case. this is also related to greater energy and being more in the present moment. they pay a lot more attention to the present moment so they bat their eyes slowly because they're taking in a lot of information. if one is less enlightened, and more into the mind and thoughts, less into the present moment the eyes bat way more faster. I think it is also related to relaxation, if you look at a relaxed cat you will see that its bats its eyes very slowly and very paced. enlightened people are by nature more relaxed and will thus bat their eyes more slowly this is definitely the biggest sign I've seen so far. the greater the energy the more focused the look. enlightened people are also much more into their bodies and make more quirky movements, babies are the ultimate example of that
  8. now is everything, I feel it is a deep desire of yours to move away, it is indeed your life purpose, now is all you have, what you desire now is absolutely sacred. only when we take ourselves and our desires seriously can we access the deeper life forces to realize them. every moment of life is full of purpose. once you will move you will have new purposes, but there's only now. all this fear that you feel at the idea of moving out, imagine now that you do move out..what will happen to this massive fear?what kind of person will you be without that fear? let the idea of you without that fear, the idea of you growing beyond it and having realized what you want enchant you, don't you want to see the kind of person you will be if you do move out? so that you can strive
  9. id get into astral travel and lucid dreaming. probably end up with more freedom then before!
  10. That is if you know that accepting to wait will absolutely without any doubt accelerate your enlightenment. The more you're willing to wait the less you will wait. It's an exercise of trust and faith in enlightenment. Trust and faith that the universe is listening to you, that your higher self is guiding you. Because if you surrender and accept to wait, who's keeping watch if you're actually advancing faster?Who's ''tracking'' your progress? You can't do it because you're accepting to wait, but the universe or your higher self, whichever you prefer to refer to,has your back, and is always watching, and its aware of your desires and will reward your efforts. Faith is a big part of this at first, once you know it's easier
  11. time has always been an essential perspective for me to approach my enlightenment. And now it has allowed me to understand a few things that I'd like to share. As time dispels for me I want to give an example : When I walk on the street for let's say 10 minutes, whereas before this would feel effectively like 10 minutes, this now feels more like 20 to 30 minutes. It works just like lets say if you went on holyday and went to a new location, for a day you see buildings and places you've never seen before, you meet new people. At the end you'd feel like you went through so much and that day would feel much longer then let's say your average monday at work or school. this seems to be ''logical'', like you went to a new place, so you experienced more, so of course you feel like the experience was longer. There's no ''logic'' in this, the present moment is full on magical, time never existed, to be more present is to be more aware of what is, but also of things that never were there. My walks are now experienced in entirely different ways, the sounds, the sights, the random events, it's hard to explain but the most fitting word is magic. Where I want to get at is the reason why it's so important to not be attached to things and desires. For me to enlighten is to slowly grow closer to the unity of the universe, which exists in timelessness and infinity. I used to think : ''why is it necessary to be so attached to my desires, why can't I have what I want right now?'' But as you enlighten, you approach timelessness, meaning there is way more space in your life between events. if you finish work and you can't wait to get home to do what you love, before it wouldn't take long to get home, it's just a regular commute. But now that commute is not regular, it feels much much longer. Those small intervals in life that seems to connect us to the next event, like commute to work, or waiting in line at the doctor, doing paperwork, taking the bus, those small moments start to grow huge and intense, they stop being a connection to the next thing and become something entirely in themselves as they they are infused with more and more time. that space in your life, those moments with little stimulation grow bigger. If you have for example someone you love, whereas before the time when you are separated from that person feels ok, now that time is immense and magnified,it's the same ''physical time'' but it's 4 or 5 times longer. can you imagine whereas as before if you wave goodbye to your loved one in the morning instead of seeing her/him in 8 hours at the end of the workday it now feels like 45 hours later? if you have great attachments to that person it will be glaringly painful, which is why your higher self will not allow you that pouring in of time in your life like that unless you're truly ready to accept being separated from your loved one. it is needed to be detached from desires in a way that allows timelessness to seep into your life without breaking you mentally. it truly inspires respect when you realize that if you sat with your favourite enlightened teacher together in a room for let's say an hour, you might've sat in that room for an hour, but your teacher sat there for 2 hours, or 3 hours, or seven hours psychologically compared to you. it also allows one to understand why enlightened people are so magnetic, why they are so full of love. because they live in planes closer to timelessness when they you attention they really, give you their full, undivided attention, an attention that stretches time and space. I'm only in the beginnings to understand how this work, but this sort of attention is incredibly intimate and loving. you are the sole object of their focus, they don't have any desire or goal beyond this moment, beyond being involved with your being, you are literally the height of their life as they talk to you, and they are completely absorbed by you, beyond your sense of time. Anyhow it is why I personally highlight that detachment from desire and things in your life has a very real purpose in allowing you to be able to mentally tolerate more timelessness.
  12. funny thing about time being an illusion is that you'll be done waiting when you accept that you're waiting, which feels like waiting for forever, which it is, because time does not exist, if you accept waiting right now, you are literally waiting forever. the key here, is being mentally prepared to wait a hundred years. enlightenment in relation to time and acceptance is really a psychic play of enormous magnitude. without actually having to wait a hundred years your will to endure a hundred years of patience will be like a volcano of energy in your inner spiritual fields. it's really that small special cog behind enlightenment. you cannot trick enlightenment, you can't plan a shortcut. you can't pretend to wait while secretly desiring to get it over with. you really have to able to fully ''surrender'' as they say and have faith that you will be born anew. what can be more powerful then being able to wait not a lifetime, but the next hundred lifetimes, being able to wait a million years if needed? it's scary because we don't want to wait that long, yet if you're prepared to wait that long, you will wait less. there's no limit to far your acceptance can stretch and be powerful it is what sets enlightened people aside from the rest, they may seem to be like everyone else but in their spirit they have accepted events of an insane magnitude. if you are prepared to wait a thousand years before getting enlightened, you will then be way more enlightened way more faster within this lifetime even but that doesn't mean you did not wait a thousand years, you did, not in physical reality, but in a psychic event, in your inner fields you waited for a thousand years, and it is that which allowed you to enlighten faster in your physical life. this shows how amazingly powerful acceptance is, it's not just ''ok I accept this'', it's literally you living through what you accept in your inner dimension. physical life is really only the top of the iceberg, behind every action you do there is a tremendous psychic unfolding happening inside you in deeper inner planes, which are literally other dimensions which make up the part of your being. if we are aware that our physical actions reflect only the tip of tremendous events that goes on inside our inner planes much advancement will be done. just as most of us are not aware of our dreams, we are not aware of the inner fields inside us where our being unfolds, these are timeless dimensions and they are a part of us, we have at our disposal an amazing amount power. time really is an illusion
  13. it is great that you share these things,I'm very interested in them
  14. In terms of what you consider as teaching it our responsibility as those who want to teach to find simple and understandable ways to teach. I'd like to point out, that music, is a very highly respectable tool of teaching these concepts to the regular person. movies, art, music, inspire love in people which is amazing. I think we need to be open to the possibilities of enlightenment, some people may never really need to know the minute details of consciousness and enlightenment, all they may just need is a very huge source of inspiration to access their inner loving self. in the end to be yourself, no one really needs an explanation, it is within everyone's capabilities to be true to their own heart. some of us are more philosophical, more able to dwell in concepts, structures and intersections, that is part of our own strength as others have their own. as teachers we have to be able to see that our ways of learning are personal to us, and be able to integrate others ways of learning which may not work for us personally but will for others
  15. I'd also like to add that I have the same problem in another form. being able to accept love can be hard actually. one has to be able to love others but also to accept being loved, the latter sounds easier but it can be tricky. I have this with strangers making eye contact with me in public places. When I was depressed and felt like shit, people barely made eye contact with me on the streets, they barely looked at me. Now that I have a certain spiritual vibration more people look at me. And sometimes this triggers intense negative feelings of anger and hostility. They don't take over my consciousness but I'm aware that I have problems to accept love from others because I felt abandoned in the past. it's like : ''hey, you didn't use to look my way in the past, but now that I feel all good you want to mingle with my vibes? you parasitic cocksuckers'' of course that bit at the end is a joke, I don't insult people in my mind, but that's the gist of the feeling. people also have their own problems to deal with, I accept that they couldn't heal me in the past or treat me with love as they had no way to deal with my negativity as they were too busy with theirs. everyone tries their best with what they have
  16. no one tries to get rid of their core identity, to advance spiritually is to get more in touch with your own unique identity. ''ego'' is a very vague word though and many can assign different meanings to it. I personally like this definition of the ego : "It is the most physically oriented portion of your inner self; but it is not, however, apart from your inner self. It sits on the window sill, so to speak, between you and the exterior world. It can also look in both directions. It makes judgments about the nature of reality in relationship to its and your needs. It accepts or does not accept beliefs. It cannot shut out information from your conscious mind, however — but it can refuse to pay attention to it." the point is not to get rid of the ego, but to understand its functions and use it a way that benefits you in your spiritual progress, which is ultimately towards love and the blooming of your own individuality. for me one facet of the divine ego is one where you can recognize that others are literally a part of you, but that doesn't take away from your unique role in the universe
  17. negative thoughts certainly do stop, although that is not something that you will achieve in this lifetime or maybe you will, everything's possible. in any case they can be greatly diminished to the point where the role they fulfill in your life is entirely different, where you might as well considered you stopped them because now negative thoughts mean something entirely different. whereas before negative thoughts used to unconsciously be my ''way of life'' and rule my mind, now they are at the bottom of the hierarchy, and their grasp and presence over me is minimal, my negative thoughts are now active spiritual distortions that I am very aware of, that I do not identify with and that I constantly work on to advance spiritually. the effect of this change is monumental
  18. hm you say it yourself that you're always starving so I don't really see a reason to deny free food like that. It is your mother and your friend after all, that is pretty much family, it's normal that they want to help you. being strong is being able to be vulnerable and accept the help from others. you have in your life sources of abundance but you seem to refuse them for what I suspect to be ego reasons, I could be wrong. maybe you have a legit reason, but know this, to be vulnerable is to be strong as well. denying help that you could use is not a strength, it is a very common trap for false trap with has to do with ego. standing on your own and being independent is a very nice quality, but if you have to deny valuable sources of help to feel independent you are not truly independent. to be really independent is to still be able to accept being helped without that chaining you down,if someone helps you, they have their own reasons for that, and you accepting that doesn't mean that you owe them special treatment. as long as you're true to yourself, you don't owe anyone anything.
  19. everything breathes in and out, you only feel bad because you're not putting in the work that you were already putting it take a step back and realize the amazing fact that you did put the work in, that is undeniable proof of your change. it is normal to regress from time to time, you breath in all the new change, the new habits...then you breath out. but as you advance you get better at breathing and the times when you 'regress' are shorter and less chaotic. even now you are in this state but you are very conscious of it, is that not evolution even in a 'lower' state? this drive towards constant and perfect growth is a common symptom in society, in economy constant growing profit is an illusion, it's just not possible, but overall evolution is possible if we accept and understand that growth is done in waves that expand and contract rhythmically whereas the growth is not the absence of contraction but the intensifying of the expansion and the relaxing of the contraction. in my opinion
  20. the more I go the more I seem advance towards a state of forgetting who I am. In order to connect with what I have forgotten about my real identity it seems I am now forgetting partly who I am now. I forget to keep track of people, of time. I forget what I did yesterday, I forget what I'm going to do tomorrow, I forget the bills, I forget social norms. I a sense I guess I'm forgetting the ego. Where I want to go with this is that meditation is a nice practice of forgetting, if we can keep our attention away from certain things eventually we let loose of them in the content of our consciousness. It's meditation has evolved to a point where it allows me to forget that which is unnecessary to know right now. I forget that I'm not where I want to be, I forget what I want but don't have.... I can only stress more the massive advantages of meditation! in whatever form it may be and for info I practice moving awareness meditation, I personally never sit still, but I try to have the least thoughts possible throughout the day, but this is my way, the best way is the one that feels right to each individual
  21. only a meaningful moment or two from a few hours ago. I do 'forget' things in the content of my mind but I know where I am going, and I know what I did in a sense but I can't recall it. I know where I'm going but it's not a thought or a plan. I guess I needed to be more specific about this. It's more like getting in tune with the present moment, you seem to be aware of less things that are outside the present moment and yet there's more fluidity, more decisiveness, more direction. it's like forgetting things on a conscious scale but knowing them more on an unconscious scale. It's like being in the present moment your memory works in another way, instead of having the conscious memory and events in the content of your mind somehow your mind is empty and dedicated to the present moment and you know what you did and where you're going but not consciously,it's like memory is this huge dark wall, you know what's written on it but you can't read it, there's no light it's dark. yet you somehow know everything that written on it at once. but if you focus on a specific part you can't 'read' it. it's like the entirety of your memory is at your disposal but not in the way that you're used to, you can't interact with it directly and indulge into it, I know yet I don't know it, it's a way of using memory that let's you fully indulge and concentrate in the present moment and still fully enjoy the benefits of your memory of past events its pretty hard to explain
  22. completely agree with leo, this is a magnificent use of a psychedelic, with consciousness and readiness to face inner distortions
  23. lots of us are familiar with the concept that there is no such thing as linear time, that time is an illusion. there are great benefits to framing our thoughts and thinking in that truth. what I do is that I when I think about something in the past or the future I treat it like its happening now. It makes you realize the power of what you're thinking and how you're shaping your emotional state right now, always in the present. If you were to ruminate for example about a mistake you'd maybe think in these lines : ''I did bad, that event sucked, that wasn't nice, I wasn't reliable'' Now if you change it to present thinking it would give : ''I'm doing bad, this sucks, this is isn't nice, I'm not reliable'' You quite immediately realize what you are doing to yourself. You can see how you are putting yourself down, how you are making yourself believe in a bad life. This is obvious when you put things into the present. And this is the truth, this is what happens when we ruminate, if can see beyond the illusion of ''past'' and ''future'' we can see what we are doing ourselves. The need to ruminate will quickly diminish if you think in present time. The same thing can be done about future events. If you're looking forward to something like a party or a meeting you may think : ''it's going to be great!'' change that to : ''this is great!'' and you will feel even better about yourself, you're applying the excitement of a future event to feel good about your life right now. same with projects : ''I will accomplish this, I'll realize my dream'' in the present it gives : ''I accomplish what I want, I realize my dreams''. This one is good, as it lets you be aware that all your power is in the present linear time is an illusion, to drop the illusion of time in your thoughts and perspective of life will certainly help anyone learn more about their own potential and have access to deeper knowledge and energies
  24. heh you're aware of your issues, I'm sure you'll get to solve them! I know this stuff is challenging, at first is certainly is, there's a lot of momentum behind the way we use our minds, but it's definitely just momentum and we can make our minds go any way we want, for me it toke about a week to get used to thinking more into present terms. I assure you LRyan, this a switch of perspective into a very highly spiritual point of view, this exercise is bound to bring you amazing things. but as always the paths to enlightenment are infinite, the best way is your way
  25. you have many reincarnational lives, you can easily be judging someone for something you did yourself in the past or the future. (there's no linear timeline in the spirit world)
