The fact you were stumped at such a question in order to convey it simply to your child may be a good thing to actually convey to him. Be honest that philosophy is so good that even at your age you have a hard time explaining it all.

It's still relative to start at 1 instead of tier 2. This is the problem with using language at all to describe anything that could or couldn't be relatively understood as a social construct. Because all language can only resolve into a personal reflection of his social understanding/awareness of knowledge. So, from a stage well beyond yellow, it would seem quite trivial semantically to deem yellow as significantly different than the previous stages.

Dear Donald J trump. Thank you for being there for me with my family as we watched the apprentice together. Those were some of the finest times, I was allowed to stay up late to finish the episodes!! Much love from Canada, Quade Allen -

Ketamine (regular) is an excellent drug that does not require a high dosage to break through into the hole (depending on your body mass/type). The dose that took me out of my body had only a numbing/dulling effect on my friend (5'10 165lbs vs 6' 230lbs). Once you get into the hole you can't take any more because similar to DMT you will be lying down immobile. Although this is snorting, the amount is relatively low and when done properly you do not do this multiple times over a short span of time. Ideally you want to take ketamine months in between, as unlike traditional psychedelics the drug has a "guaranteed nirvana" allure that can quickly kill the magic. Take this drug super seriously in terms of potential addiction. BUT it is a fantastic experience, I encountered zero withdrawal/brain funk afterwards.. While most other psychedelics can take days to reintegrate. -
Leo did say the blind follow the blind, this is why it happens. What's important is finding the message behind the facade. If the tone of voice, the credentials they posses and the fluidity their "story telling" etc are the primary signs you look for/see.. your eyesight needs some improvement. It failed to cut away at the bullshit and penetrate beyond surface level impression.

If you encounter fear, meet it with an inquisitive nature. Remember to "save some fear for tomorrow" because you cannot "conquer" fear, it simply is experienced or not. -

If I try and think about nothing, I can focus on a single point and have no discernible thoughts for around 10 seconds. But then I realize, during those 10 seconds, would that not have been a thought about nothing discernible? The judgement of the quality or quantity of a thought is just another thought that is created as a distorted reflection of the past: Neither existed in the way it was determined, it just was. @bananak When playing music and you have a spontaneous lick/groove/insight, you only remove yourself from that state of being when you acknowledge the fact that what you're doing is above and beyond the baseline expectation of yourself that you unwittingly put into place based on experience/memory of past performances/practices. The trick would be to allow those "highs" to return to your baseline without shocking you out of that groove. I'm struggling with that myself, but mostly because I lack consistent disciplined practice. -

@Be Yourself Thanks for the informative video, that was tough for me to watch. My question was not to dispute the quality of protein between plants and animals, but how one can reasonably intake enough protein to maximize muscle regeneration. Mic cited the required daily amount of protein for healthy functioning, but not the amount of protein successful athletes are consuming today. Anecdotally, Mic doesn't look like he's been hitting the gym, but he's quick to polarize that notion with "The pressure to build a hulk-like physique". To me his style of "gym bros" mentality (him playing devil's advocate) sounds vindictive, as if he has philosophical grounds to push a vegan agenda. This is more an economical/quantity issue than anything else, because I know I could substitute a piece of chicken for x amount of plant proteins. Mic referenced the baseline requirement of 56 grams of protein a day (male). My belief is that 100-120 grams (minimum) is fairly optimal for my needs but legitimate athletes consume much more depending on their body weight and lean muscle ratio/needs. I'll be switching more over to plant based to experiment how it works for me, but it's not a black and white/all or nothing situation. Science hasn't figured out nutrition. At all. IMO -

I've been playing a lot of Rocksmith 2014 lately with a cheap Walmart Guitar, I recommend playing music yourself! -

But without an economically viable alternative for protein, how would I go about building muscle? I feel terrible about eating meat but I'm almost certain without enough protein intake my body won't rebuild to the same degree. For many people it is far too expensive to rely on plant based supplements (proteins) to meet the demands of an athletic lifestyle. -
Perhaps if you are "stuck" considering that the dog is barking as opposed to simply experiencing the sensation as it hits you, you would be thinking "The dog is barking" and it would cloud your consciousness.

From an ignorant (mine) standpoint, that looks fucking hilarious. If you've been meditating every day (consistent practice) for.. longer than a year, maybe I could see this being interesting? Wouldn't that be kinda like looking at a Rorschach blob if your point of comparison is delimited or arbitrary? -

Can neurofeedback be done without any special equipment? Is this a bit of a secret topic? Or just in the stages of pioneering? -

Gentle Giant. Free hand. (available on Spotify web-player, haven't found a decent quality on youtube). Headphones highly recommended. -
@Zane I've started my journal (using onenote) and I must say it's made a huge difference. For a while I thought I had to be intuitively capable of always knowing what to do next.. taking notes properly is probably the best form of "mantra" building so-to-speak (purpose remembrance/recall). Plus I was chronically smoking weed (and tobacco) so that tanks short term memory retention..

Ai already is not ultra smart, so we can see the results of that already. How likely is AI going to become "less conscious" over time? Now that would be scary. Also, if Ai's "conciousness" followed an exponential curve (like processing speeds over time), how long would it take for Ai to figure everything out? Wouldn't that be like oh snap it's too late? now that could be a problem.. Elon Musk Interview | The future the world & technology: 59 mins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVMMsDZNiF8 -

If you are interested in re watching Leo's videos, I would recommend going over the guided meditation/mindfulness topics as those are designed to be revisited consistently as a practice.

I highly recommend the Wim Hof method, which from my understanding is heavily derived from yogic breathing practices. It's a very easy exercise to follow and the focus it requires (to chain 20-50 breaths together, deeply, then hold) will help reset your human system. After 3 rounds of breathing, from the very first time I tried it, I've had incredible results in terms of lifting brain fog, body pain, self temperature regulation/circadian rhythm (ie quality of rest from proper uninterrupted sleep-breathing) etc. For several months I followed along with the video above, since sometimes it's hard to keep an even circulation/intensity of breaths - uneven breathing (ie half-assing half of the breaths) can be unhealthy - it's important you listen to your body and easy yourself into a rhythm that's comfortable to you. -
For me, a good analogy is to imagine myself as a daredevil. Your ego makes death (or whatever else) feel terrifying but I can guarantee you it's a bluff. The ego acts like it has you in checkmate, or that it has a full house against you. Intuitively see though that shit. Dare greatly, and you can push the envelope. A daredevil follows his intuition, his feelings.

No it doesn't, and thanks for bringing that up. This is ironically Jim's core message. It's as if we blame Jim based on how the audience/media reacted. That's why spirituality isn't mainstream, even seekers try to snuff out the other.. -

I've had a similar issue: I think the issue lies with associating insanity, brain damage, or illness like schizophrenia or psychosis with an extremely negative connotation/fear. These concepts are mental projections. If you decided or felt you were schizo and behaved as such (acted), you probably could "become insane", no consciousness work required. Therefore my intuition is that allowing yourself to be crazy and insane (admit that you are), you can gain a deeper connection with your own mind, and is a key hurdle in development. Sanity is a set of standards. Any advice would also be appreciated, its a problem I'm going though myself.
